Read by Ta’kom Ironhoof, the Equine Charmer Please enjoy “Murky Waters”, a poem by Herr Wozzeck Sitting at the ruins of
Speaker:
00:00:41
the fountain of creativity,
Speaker:
00:00:56
one has to Pause
Speaker:
00:00:58
and gather their bricks,
Speaker:
00:01:00
sifting through the
Speaker:
00:01:01
Endless pile of whos and whys and whats,
Speaker:
00:01:05
Losing sight of how the bricks kept
Speaker:
00:01:08
Us in the hole from which we,
Speaker:
00:01:11
drenched in the weight of competition,
Speaker:
00:01:13
Never could have hoped to escape
Speaker:
00:01:16
without first Killing ourselves in the avalanche of backroom politics in
Speaker:
00:01:22
Every aspect of how we thought of stories and characters and
Speaker:
00:01:27
Rolls that created our competitive life-water.
Speaker:
00:01:31
Sometimes, it is only through extreme prejudice
Speaker:
00:01:36
that the waters of this
Speaker:
00:01:38
Afterlife finally flood in,
Speaker:
00:01:40
and as they push you towards the surface,
Speaker:
00:01:44
the Light unveils that your waters left from the fountain have run Muddy.
Speaker:
00:01:49
But then, there comes
Speaker:
00:01:51
One who comes with New bricks,
Speaker:
00:01:54
to build a new well,
Speaker:
00:01:56
one Daring us with possibilities:
Speaker:
00:02:00
thus does the fountain Overflow
Speaker:
00:02:03
with the promise of tales,
Speaker:
00:02:05
with the promise of
Speaker:
00:02:07
Creation, that promise
Speaker:
00:02:09
which will forever Remain fruitful
Speaker:
00:02:12
and plentiful and fresh:
Speaker:
00:02:14
Undulating waves rush from this new fountain,
Speaker:
00:02:18
a Zenith of dreams once scattered
Speaker:
00:02:22
from anguish. The outstretched hand
Speaker:
00:02:26
That pulls one out of
Speaker:
00:02:28
Murky waters This was “Murky Waters” by Herr Wozzeck,
