The Body of Christ is full of a whole bunch of very imperfect people in the process of being perfected. God loves them, but, it’s imperative as a believers that we love them, too, even in their varying states of obnoxious imperfection. It’s easy to love well behaved folk, but loving immature, irritating folk can be an entirely different story.  But it is right there, at that very point, that the Gospel of Jesus is intended to change our lives.  He wants to empower us to live backwards and upside down.
