Shownotes

Today, I'd like to tell you about a research performed at Tulane University in Louisiana USA, called: Increase in Leptin and PPAR-γ (gamma) Gene Expression in Lipedema Adipocytes Differentiated in vitro from Adipose-Derived Stem Cells and was published in journal Cells in February 2020. The researchers state that the goal of the study is "to characterize the adipose-derived stem cells of healthy and lipedema patients." The researchers believe they have demonstrated that there is a significant difference between lipedema stem cells and those from healthy controls in that lipedema stem cells are more prone to produce fat cells that proliferate and have increased inflammation.
