This week Kathryn and Kristi chat with Karen Jarchow, professional mountain biker and gravel cyclist. Along with her own athletic feats, Karen is the assistant marketing director for Ergon Bikes, and runs youth mountain biking camps with her company Vail Valley Alternative Sports (VVASA) Academy in Colorado. She tells us how the VVASA has transitioned to operate safely during COVID-19, which has led to some lasting positive changes in how they will continue to run camps in the future. Karen also tells how recovering from hip surgery in January was a catalyst for change in many areas of her life.
