We're going to do an interesting survey because if the Holy Days and the Sabbath were done away with. The Gospels would not have Christ going into the synagogues on the Sabbath. One of the very first things that Christ made clear
Matthew 5:17: "Do not think…" What happens when someone says don't think? They will think the opposite!In the Greek these are double negatives meaning:
Absolutely, v 17:"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill."
This does not mean not to do it to make it of no value, it means to complete it to make it of greater value!
Verse 18: "For truly I say to you, until the heaven and the earth shall pass away..."
If you're talking to a Protestant, ask him 'What are we standing on? What are we breathing? Heaven and earth are still here!
