Christ Died For EVERY Person, For ALL Sin

By Tammy Lacock

“For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth His love towards us, in that, while we were just sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:7-8 KJV)

Before the foundation of the world, God had a plan, a perfect plan (Ephesians 1:4 KJV). For He so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. His Son died for every single one of us. When He died, we died too, along with ALL of our sins. By believing on Christ as our Savior, we confess our need for Him. It is then that our sin nature is literally replaced by Christ’s nature. God’s plan was to put Christ’s Spirit in every one of us who believes. Such is our New Life IN Christ. Our New Life IS Christ.

In Romans 5:7-8, Paul tells us just how much God loves us. But first he tells us that it’s understandable that one might die for a righteous person and even for a good person. Through God’s Unconditional Love for us, He sent His only begotten Son to die for every sinner and for every sin, no matter how bad.

We died with Him and we arose with Christ to a New Life IN Him.

By God’s Love and Grace we are saved just by believing in Christ as our Savior. That’s for every single one of us. That’s for every sin. The sin passed down by Adam and every single one of our sins is overcome. Our slates are wiped clean by Christ’s sacrificial Love and we are blameless before God.

When Christ was taken away from us through His death on the cross, God entrusted His Spirit to us.

Who is us? Every single one of us who believes.

Christ is now our Life and we are called to be witnesses of Him.
