Transcripts

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So, to get us kicked off, I'm going to have Johanna share her two truths

Speaker:

and one lie, and then by the end of the episode, we'll have her share

Speaker:

the answers, and we'll see, as you've been able to play along, if

Speaker:

you were able to guess it as well.

Speaker:

So Johanna, what are your two truths and one

Speaker:

lie?

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I have a brother who was adopted at birth that I have never met.

Speaker:

I've been to Greece and my son had a kidney transplant.

Speaker:

Welcome to a whole lot of shift podcast, the podcast for multi passionate women

Speaker:

with an entrepreneurial spirit, where we provide inspiration, motivation, and

Speaker:

education to help you shift away from all the shoulds and supposed to's to what's

Speaker:

truly possible for you in your business and your life, all on your own terms.

Speaker:

You ready, girl, let's make shift happen.

Speaker:

Hello, and welcome to another episode of A Whole Lotta Shift.

Speaker:

I'm your host, Jen Ingram, and I am so excited that you've

Speaker:

decided to join us here today.

Speaker:

I have an incredible guest on the show today.

Speaker:

Her name is Johanna, and I promise that when you hear her story,

Speaker:

you are just going to be moved.

Speaker:

It's really incredible.

Speaker:

I've been following Johanna in her journey for a while now, and

Speaker:

I just knew that hers was a story that I needed to get on the show.

Speaker:

So welcome, Johanna.

Speaker:

Hi, welcome.

Speaker:

Thank you.

Speaker:

I'm so excited to be

Speaker:

here.

Speaker:

Yes, we are so excited that you are here guys.

Speaker:

Johanna is, I'm telling you, she is impacting the world.

Speaker:

She has been through quite a life journey that she's going to be sharing

Speaker:

a little bit about with us today.

Speaker:

And she is taking that and using that journey.

Speaker:

As a way to get her message out and empower women to start living

Speaker:

their very best life and become the best versions of themselves.

Speaker:

Because through her journey, she has been able to see exactly what it's like to say,

Speaker:

I am no longer settling for mediocrity.

Speaker:

I am ready to get the hell out there and live my very best life.

Speaker:

And I cannot wait for you all to learn about her story.

Speaker:

So before the show, if you follow the show along, you know that before the

Speaker:

show, I always ask my guests if they want to play two truths and one lie.

Speaker:

So Johanna, what do you think?

Speaker:

You want to play two truths and one lie with

Speaker:

us today?

Speaker:

Absolutely.

Speaker:

Yay!

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

These are really good.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

Well, we're going to see if maybe we can't figure out what the answer

Speaker:

is as we go along the journey today.

Speaker:

So I am so excited.

Speaker:

So to kind of get us kicked off, I, one of the questions that I love

Speaker:

. To ask all of our guests is to tell me, tell me a little bit about yourself.

Speaker:

Like, tell me, how did this all start?

Speaker:

How did you decide, Hey, I want to be someone who's

Speaker:

getting my message out there.

Speaker:

Tell me what was that?

Speaker:

Fuck this shit moment where you just decided I'm done living this life.

Speaker:

I'm doing something different.

Speaker:

Tell me about that.

Speaker:

Yeah, so I actually can pinpoint the exact moment.

Speaker:

So four years ago, my aunt died of a massive heart attack at a very young age.

Speaker:

And she, you know, was skinny and healthy and weighed like 130 pounds.

Speaker:

And so we all had that connotation that she was skinny and healthy.

Speaker:

And She was a teacher and when they cleaned out her desk, it was all little

Speaker:

debbie's and soda and candy and junk food.

Speaker:

And we came to learn that she actually ate very horribly.

Speaker:

Her labs were not good.

Speaker:

Her her intestines were very swollen.

Speaker:

And her daughter actually found her when she passed away.

Speaker:

And at that time I weighed almost 400 pounds and I didn't want my son to find

Speaker:

me dead while I was folding laundry.

Speaker:

And I knew I just, I couldn't be that big anymore.

Speaker:

I couldn't, I had to be healthy if I wanted to live a long, happy life.

Speaker:

I was miserable.

Speaker:

I hated shopping for clothes.

Speaker:

I couldn't ride roller coasters.

Speaker:

I literally had to use a seatbelt extender and I couldn't sit

Speaker:

in offices at doctor's office.

Speaker:

Or I couldn't sit in chairs at doctor's offices and my weight was

Speaker:

impacting every aspect of my life.

Speaker:

And I couldn't do it anymore.

Speaker:

I knew that I either had to make a change or I was never gonna be.

Speaker:

Genuinely happy.

Speaker:

And I, I could even, you know, die young.

Speaker:

And so I woke up one day and I was like, my life is changing.

Speaker:

Oh

Speaker:

my gosh.

Speaker:

I could only imagine the impact that you felt of, you know, cause I agree.

Speaker:

We all have this preconceived notion that skinny equals healthy and.

Speaker:

Anything that can be construed and I want to use this term so loosely

Speaker:

because it's all a bunch of bull, but larger, if for lack of a better

Speaker:

term, I don't know what to call it.

Speaker:

It there's like this, this ideology out there that well, if you're

Speaker:

slightly larger than the average person, then you're not healthy.

Speaker:

And I think it's so important for us to understand that.

Speaker:

All of our bodies are different.

Speaker:

Skinny doesn't equal healthy.

Speaker:

Larger than average doesn't equal healthy.

Speaker:

And, and also I think we need to redefine what our quote unquote average is, um,

Speaker:

because so much of that is just, you know, based on, I think, false ideologies again.

Speaker:

I can only imagine what that was like, though, to find out that, hey, here was

Speaker:

this person who I just thought would live this long, healthy life and realize

Speaker:

that that was not her story at all.

Speaker:

How old if you don't mind me sharing, how old was your son when you, when

Speaker:

your aunt passed and you found out like, Hey, I need to get my life

Speaker:

together if I want to be around.

Speaker:

He was seven and my cousin, she was 16.

Speaker:

She went into the bedroom and her mom was folding towels and she

Speaker:

was just laying on the ground.

Speaker:

Oh, oh, this is horrific.

Speaker:

And I Heartbreaking.

Speaker:

Mmm.

Speaker:

I am so, so sorry for your loss.

Speaker:

That is, that is tragic.

Speaker:

And I, I have no doubt that even for your cousin, how traumatic that had

Speaker:

to have been at such a young age.

Speaker:

I mean, traumatic no matter what, but at a young age, very traumatizing.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

So tell me a little bit.

Speaker:

So you'd kind of said, okay, you know what?

Speaker:

Forget this.

Speaker:

I'm done.

Speaker:

Like I want to live a long, healthy life and I don't want my kid to see me gone.

Speaker:

So what, what were the, some of the next steps that you took?

Speaker:

I'm curious, like what did this journey look like as you've tried

Speaker:

to find your way back to health?

Speaker:

So, obviously the biggest thing was my weight, so I went to my doctor and started

Speaker:

seeing a nutritionist, and we just kind of evaluated, you know, my exercising and my

Speaker:

diet and my lifestyle, and so, getting a handle on my diet was huge, because food

Speaker:

and what we consume is very important, I started looking into you, you know,

Speaker:

how our bodies react to the nastiness that is at the grocery stores and that

Speaker:

we're being fed at restaurants and stuff.

Speaker:

So I learned a lot.

Speaker:

I took a bunch of nutrition classes and learned a lot

Speaker:

about how we metabolize food.

Speaker:

And I learned just about me and my routine and what kind of diet I

Speaker:

needed because everyone is different.

Speaker:

And I, Um, I actually had gastric bypass two and a half years ago, and so I

Speaker:

ate, I started eating a lot less, a lot healthier, and I exercise five to six

Speaker:

days a week now, and I have lost about 200 pounds and I am now focusing on gaining

Speaker:

muscle and I have a lot of loose skin, and so, that's a big part of my life, but.

Speaker:

I will take the loose skin over being unhealthy at any time.

Speaker:

And so now my diet is absolutely my number one.

Speaker:

I've implemented that into my family as well.

Speaker:

We just do a lot of whole foods, you know, not any package stuff,

Speaker:

chemicals, all the ickies.

Speaker:

So we do a lot of whole foods, fruits, vegetables, and high protein,

Speaker:

good carbs that turn into energy.

Speaker:

And I'd say food was the root of everything.

Speaker:

Obviously we have to eat.

Speaker:

You know, multiple times a day.

Speaker:

And so just learning about food, putting the right things in my body was huge.

Speaker:

And then also another thing that I definitely knew needed

Speaker:

to change was my career.

Speaker:

So I kind of started evaluating what I wanted to do with my life

Speaker:

and if I was happy where I was, you know, where I could be my happiest.

Speaker:

And so my weight and my career were two very big aspects of my journey

Speaker:

and finding genuine happiness.

Speaker:

Oh my God.

Speaker:

And congrats.

Speaker:

First, I want to say.

Speaker:

Congratulations on losing 200 pounds.

Speaker:

That is huge.

Speaker:

That is incredible.

Speaker:

And I also want to say bravo to you for being willing to go to

Speaker:

your doctor and say, I need help.

Speaker:

I don't necessarily just want, you know, surgery.

Speaker:

Like, I want to work with a nutritionist.

Speaker:

I understand how important this is.

Speaker:

And you put in the work.

Speaker:

I hear from so many people that, like, surgery is an easy way out.

Speaker:

And I get so irritated because I also went down that path.

Speaker:

I didn't end up getting surgery.

Speaker:

But I went into a program, a year long program to qualify.

Speaker:

And I have to tell you it's work and I don't care what anybody says.

Speaker:

There's no easy way out of this.

Speaker:

It's work period.

Speaker:

And the work doesn't stop.

Speaker:

It doesn't stop.

Speaker:

Once you lose a bunch of weight, it doesn't stop a year in and you

Speaker:

go, Hey, I got to where I want now.

Speaker:

I can just, you know, go back to eating whatever they like.

Speaker:

It never ends.

Speaker:

Even you brought up the fact that you were said I have loose skin now.

Speaker:

And now that has become a part of me, right?

Speaker:

Like you're literally having to relearn what it feels like to be in

Speaker:

your own body and learn to love your body in a completely different way.

Speaker:

This doesn't end and there's no easy way out.

Speaker:

No, it's not.

Speaker:

It's it's I call it a lifestyle change.

Speaker:

You know, it's not, it wasn't quick.

Speaker:

It's not magic.

Speaker:

I have a tool.

Speaker:

You know, we can't build a house with just holding a hammer.

Speaker:

We have the hammer, but we have to use it and we have to utilize it.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

I love this so much.

Speaker:

This is so incredible.

Speaker:

So, and only cause I followed you for a little bit of time as you were going

Speaker:

through that journey of, you know, that first year post surgery and all of that.

Speaker:

Talk to me about how you started discovering how you could get the message

Speaker:

out of what it feels like to just.

Speaker:

feel better and be happier.

Speaker:

Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker:

So as soon as I started all this, like I said, I cut out a lot

Speaker:

of bad foods, started focusing on vitamins and supplements and

Speaker:

instantly I noticed so many changes.

Speaker:

Like my acne got better, my bloating got better.

Speaker:

I was feeling less pains in my joints and I mean, every aspect of

Speaker:

my life was changing, including new clothing because I was dropping sizes.

Speaker:

I could fit in chairs at the dentist office.

Speaker:

I mean, the littlest things that people don't think about on a daily

Speaker:

I was thinking about, and it was changing for me, and it was exciting.

Speaker:

And I had never felt such passion and motivation and excitement

Speaker:

for simply just gaining health.

Speaker:

And being healthy and knowing that my life was going to be longer and fuller

Speaker:

and every single day I woke up grateful because I was losing weight and I didn't

Speaker:

hurt as bad and I, you know, I could wear less makeup because I had less acne.

Speaker:

I mean, like I said, every.

Speaker:

From morning till night, even sleep got better.

Speaker:

And I just, I have a lot of, I had and have a lot of friends that

Speaker:

are very obese and complain about a lot of things that I complained

Speaker:

about before making these changes.

Speaker:

And You know, it's definitely not easy by any means, but it's doable and I did it.

Speaker:

I freaking did it.

Speaker:

And you know, it's with going through this journey with other

Speaker:

people that also freaking did the thing makes it 10 times easier.

Speaker:

And so I just wanted to share my story and be vulnerable.

Speaker:

There's a lot of people that go through things you know, like a 200 pound

Speaker:

weight loss and they hide a lot of stuff or they fabricate a lot of stuff.

Speaker:

Like you said, this journey was not easy by any means.

Speaker:

And a lot of people don't talk about the hard things.

Speaker:

And I needed someone to talk about the hard things when I was going through them.

Speaker:

And so I want to be that.

Speaker:

Light for someone else.

Speaker:

I just got a message yesterday from a girl actually, who's two months

Speaker:

post op, and she asked if she could call me and she was crying.

Speaker:

She was depressed, regretted her decision.

Speaker:

And she was like, I see that you're thriving.

Speaker:

How did you get through this phase?

Speaker:

And just literally the ability to talk to someone who knows what you're

Speaker:

going through and knows what you.

Speaker:

you know, wanting to obtain makes it 10 times easier.

Speaker:

So I just wanted to be that light in other people's lives because I had some

Speaker:

people like that when I needed it and you know, being able to help other people,

Speaker:

there's no better feeling in this world.

Speaker:

Even if it's just a simple, you know, you freaking got this, go

Speaker:

to the gym or talking someone out of regretting their decision or

Speaker:

helping someone out of a depression.

Speaker:

There's no better feeling.

Speaker:

Preach.

Speaker:

Oh, man.

Speaker:

And thank you.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

For saying, you know, Hey, people need to hear some of the ugly stuff.

Speaker:

Some of the things that we don't want to have to talk about.

Speaker:

It's so important.

Speaker:

So I want to touch on the part because as I've watched you go

Speaker:

through this journey and you learn to.

Speaker:

You relearned how to love your new body.

Speaker:

anD talk to me about how you have started trying to find ways to generate

Speaker:

a new kind of income for yourself so that you can start getting the

Speaker:

message out and making a bigger impact.

Speaker:

Tell me some of the things that you're doing.

Speaker:

Cause I know you've got a good following on Tik TOK.

Speaker:

Talk to us about that.

Speaker:

I do.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

So I essentially just started sharing my story on TikTok and I exposed my loose

Speaker:

skin and I had a video go viral and overnight I got 40, 000 followers and

Speaker:

it was all just people and women who are going through these transformations and

Speaker:

weight loss surgery and wanting to change, but they don't know where to start.

Speaker:

And again, it was just simply me sharing my story, but I was making

Speaker:

such big impacts on people's lives.

Speaker:

You know, it's something that took me 30 seconds to record

Speaker:

and bam, I posted it to Tik TOK.

Speaker:

I just changed 30 people's lives because they're commenting and messaging me.

Speaker:

And something so simple for me is so eyeopening and rewarding for other people.

Speaker:

And you know, if I have the ability to do that, why not do it?

Speaker:

And so I started.

Speaker:

Getting my Facebook and Instagram monetized.

Speaker:

I have my TikTok monetized and again, it's just sharing my story.

Speaker:

It's doing stuff I did before and now I'm getting paid for it.

Speaker:

And I started my own loaded tea business and that is vitamins and drink form.

Speaker:

And so I get income from that again, something I'm passionate about and I am.

Speaker:

in The process of becoming a personal development coach.

Speaker:

So just sharing my story on how I managed my stress and how I literally manifested

Speaker:

the life of my dreams and helping people understand what a positive mindset can do

Speaker:

for your dreams versus a negative mindset.

Speaker:

And it's just thrown a little bit of everything I've been through

Speaker:

and everything I've learned.

Speaker:

Into helping other people and getting paid for it.

Speaker:

And it's the best thing I've ever done in my entire life.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Oh my God.

Speaker:

I love that so much.

Speaker:

And I think the piece that sometimes so many people forget about is obviously the

Speaker:

more that you're able to monetize it and the more money that you're able to make.

Speaker:

That means that more people are seeing the story.

Speaker:

More people are receiving the message.

Speaker:

You're making a bigger impact with every single piece of this, that you are able

Speaker:

to monetize and take to the next level.

Speaker:

And it is so incredible because so many people need.

Speaker:

This message and they need to understand that this is absolutely possible for them.

Speaker:

They don't have to just accept status quo.

Speaker:

And I love that so much.

Speaker:

One of the things that I've really enjoyed is just watching

Speaker:

you have fun and play with it.

Speaker:

Play as you're discovering how to dress yourself now and what

Speaker:

feels good and looks good.

Speaker:

I have loved every second of watching you figure that out

Speaker:

and then share with others.

Speaker:

Hey, oh my God, I have these clothes and they fit and it feels amazing,

Speaker:

but also, do you think this is cute?

Speaker:

You want one too?

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

Like, it's a simple

Speaker:

ask.

Speaker:

Oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker:

And like I said, a huge part of my following is other people that also

Speaker:

have a bunch of loose skin or also want to lose weight and so they're in the

Speaker:

process of needing to buy new clothing and yeah, I mean, it's, I'm literally

Speaker:

doing the same thing I was doing before.

Speaker:

posting videos, sharing my love with fashion, but I'm getting paid for it.

Speaker:

I mean, there's literally no greater thing in the world,

Speaker:

right?

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

I mean, cause here's the deal.

Speaker:

We're all going to shop.

Speaker:

We're all going to, you know, we're all looking for those things that make us

Speaker:

feel good when they're on, you know, whether it's the fabric, the particular

Speaker:

fabric that's, that's against our skin or, you know, it's our favorite colors.

Speaker:

Like me, I'm always like in pinks and purples.

Speaker:

Cause if it's bright, I'm all about it.

Speaker:

And so, right.

Speaker:

And so just those, those, Things that make us feel good.

Speaker:

Why not share it and make some money off of it?

Speaker:

I love that perception.

Speaker:

That is so awesome.

Speaker:

I'm curious, where do you see yourself going for, from here?

Speaker:

So I heard you say that you're working to become a coach.

Speaker:

That is super amazing.

Speaker:

So if you could have just kind of your.

Speaker:

Your dream circumstance, right?

Speaker:

Like you're now making income a million different ways and you're

Speaker:

no longer in a quote unquote job.

Speaker:

Where do you see yourself going from here?

Speaker:

Absolutely.

Speaker:

So I actually have my first manifestation workshop scheduled

Speaker:

for December 21st of this month.

Speaker:

And I.

Speaker:

Could not be more excited.

Speaker:

That is going to become a monthly thing.

Speaker:

We're going to host workshops and classes.

Speaker:

I, you know, long term goals will definitely be to have some online

Speaker:

classes maybe some travel retreats.

Speaker:

I love traveling.

Speaker:

I have manifested multiple trips to Mexico.

Speaker:

And so I would love to travel with people that I'm inspiring and helping.

Speaker:

But also I am just sharing all of this information on social media.

Speaker:

I, you know, I'm 27.

Speaker:

I definitely love social media.

Speaker:

I have Tik all the things.

Speaker:

And so I'm getting monetized through all that.

Speaker:

So just sharing.

Speaker:

Motivational posts and manifestation ideas and questions to ask yourself, you know,

Speaker:

it's, I'm helping myself and also putting it out into the world and helping people.

Speaker:

So I'm going to use my, I'm going to utilize my social

Speaker:

media to share my message and.

Speaker:

You know, help with my online classes and we'll have in person classes.

Speaker:

I am going to start a podcast and hopefully a YouTube channel.

Speaker:

I would love to do a YouTube channel.

Speaker:

I've always wanted to do that.

Speaker:

I have a lot of ideas.

Speaker:

I, I'm literally overflowing with ideas and every day I have a notebook and

Speaker:

a pen with me because I just, I get inspired anytime I see something I'm like.

Speaker:

That's so cool.

Speaker:

People would love that.

Speaker:

I'll add that into a workshop or, Oh, I love that line.

Speaker:

I'm going to use that in this podcast episode.

Speaker:

And I just, I I'm so excited.

Speaker:

Yes,

Speaker:

no.

Speaker:

And that's exactly what this podcast is all about.

Speaker:

Right.

Speaker:

And that's why I say that this podcast is for the multi passionate girl, because

Speaker:

guys, I don't know if you've heard it in Johanna's voice as she has shared

Speaker:

so many pieces of this story, but she's not only passionate about the fact that.

Speaker:

We need ways of eating healthier and, and we need to start paying attention

Speaker:

to what we're putting in our bodies.

Speaker:

And so she's doing things like her loaded tea business that has

Speaker:

some of the vitamins that we need.

Speaker:

And, and she's got an easier way for people to try and

Speaker:

get those and consume those.

Speaker:

And she's all about helping women.

Speaker:

Love the way they look in their new skin and showing them how to gain

Speaker:

confidence in, in what they wear.

Speaker:

And she's sprinkled some of that in, and this is what I love so much

Speaker:

about people who are multi passionate because you're multi passionate

Speaker:

in all facets of life, right?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Of course, you're passionate about making money.

Speaker:

Who the hell isn't passionate about making money, but you're doing it

Speaker:

on so many levels and you're living the ultimate life, and I love that.

Speaker:

So freaking much.

Speaker:

So your first your manifestation class?

Speaker:

Is that in person for December?

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

And so where are you located in case our audience members local to

Speaker:

you should be listening to this?

Speaker:

I am an hour north of Springfield.

Speaker:

I live in a very, very tiny town.

Speaker:

The workshop is in Preston, Missouri, in a studio.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

I have finger foods.

Speaker:

I'm gonna make a big charcuterie board, fruit trays.

Speaker:

I'm making some fun Christmas cocktails, alcoholic and non alcoholic.

Speaker:

And I have eight marked as going so far.

Speaker:

And one, sharing this message, hanging out with people that just want to Be

Speaker:

happy and fix their mindset and shift their mindset and manifest their life.

Speaker:

I, I'm so stoked.

Speaker:

That is incredible.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

I am so celebrating you and those eight amazing people who are

Speaker:

signed up for this workshop because it is going to be incredible.

Speaker:

That is so awesome.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So I will be sure then that our audience gets this information long before,

Speaker:

because when did you say it's towards the

Speaker:

end of the month?

Speaker:

December 21st.

Speaker:

December 21st.

Speaker:

Okay, so, gosh, there's so many amazing pieces.

Speaker:

I'm so excited.

Speaker:

Like, there's, there's, I love where this is going for you, and I love the

Speaker:

other piece that I have watched you do that I think is so important for our

Speaker:

listeners to hear, especially for those girlies who are, you know, working

Speaker:

on their side hustle or whatever.

Speaker:

There's this phrase, that says, Results love speed and what that's speaking to is

Speaker:

your ability to just quickly take action without sitting there and wondering how

Speaker:

afraid am I, what could happen, what are all the bad things could happen, right?

Speaker:

Like not getting into your head, just taking action.

Speaker:

Results love speed.

Speaker:

And and actually, I think the original quote was something

Speaker:

like money loves speed.

Speaker:

But I've also heard it put the other way into results.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Yes, that's something else that I, I'm hearing and I've seen you do it in the

Speaker:

sense that when you have one of these ideas, you just say, you know what,

Speaker:

I'm just going to go figure it out.

Speaker:

I'm just going to go do it.

Speaker:

And you just take action and you make it happen.

Speaker:

And that's exactly what it's all about.

Speaker:

And those, those are the people that become the most successful because

Speaker:

they're willing to just without fear, just start taking action.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

So, oh man, I love that.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So.

Speaker:

Hearing some of that and a little bit about your story I'm curious if you could

Speaker:

share one thing with our audience as far as moving forward in their own journeys,

Speaker:

what is something that you would love for them to know as they are trying to cross

Speaker:

over, whether it be that they also have a message and they're trying to figure out

Speaker:

how they can monetize it or, or whatever, just living your best freaking life.

Speaker:

What would be something that you would tell another woman who was looking for

Speaker:

that?

Speaker:

So in terms of living your best damn life, I, I would say shifting your mindset.

Speaker:

I could talk about this for days on end.

Speaker:

Mindset is everything.

Speaker:

How you react to situations is everything, whether good or bad.

Speaker:

Our brains and our minds automatically create a feeling.

Speaker:

And typically it's negative.

Speaker:

We were raised, you know, I was raised in a negative society where, you know,

Speaker:

I was told money can't buy happiness.

Speaker:

And well, if that's what we got, we got to live with it, I guess.

Speaker:

And that is not the mindset.

Speaker:

Your mindset needs to be.

Speaker:

I want more.

Speaker:

I am going to get more.

Speaker:

And you know, I have an example here.

Speaker:

We went to a Christmas parade on Saturday and we were like an

Speaker:

hour late and my son was crying because we missed so many floats.

Speaker:

And instead of me also being sad and dwelling that we missed half the

Speaker:

parade, I said, You know, guess what?

Speaker:

We're a family.

Speaker:

We got out of the house.

Speaker:

We're spending quality family time together.

Speaker:

We still have, like, 20 floats left that we're gonna see.

Speaker:

We can go get some ice cream after this.

Speaker:

Yeah, we missed some, but we also still get to see some.

Speaker:

And we're having family time together.

Speaker:

So, I turned something negative into something positive.

Speaker:

Or, I have a friend who texted me this morning.

Speaker:

Her and her boyfriend broke up, actually.

Speaker:

And I told her, I said, yeah, it sucks.

Speaker:

And it's easier said than done, but find the good in this.

Speaker:

You learned what you do and don't deserve.

Speaker:

You learned what you can and shouldn't communicate.

Speaker:

You know, you can turn negative situations into lessons and learn from

Speaker:

negative and positive situations, but mindset and just putting those high

Speaker:

energy vibrations out into the universe.

Speaker:

If you put out high energy, you are going to get positive outcomes and.

Speaker:

You know, whether it's a family death, or you got fired, or you stubbed your

Speaker:

toe, or that purse you really wanted on Black Friday sold out, there is

Speaker:

always a positive in every situation.

Speaker:

You just have to take a second and find the positive.

Speaker:

And I promise you with consistency and repetition, your mind and

Speaker:

your brain will start to just automatically admit those positive

Speaker:

reactions versus negative reactions.

Speaker:

It will become, you know, it will become repetition and muscle memory and you'll

Speaker:

do it without even thinking about it.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

Oh, my gosh.

Speaker:

Yes.

Speaker:

And there's so much.

Speaker:

I can already tell that your manifestation class is going to be incredible because

Speaker:

you're right when we're operating on that higher vibrational level.

Speaker:

It's just that's when the things start to happen.

Speaker:

Right?

Speaker:

This is about us.

Speaker:

You know, as we're looking for all the positives that that's that's

Speaker:

allowing us to exist at a higher level.

Speaker:

Man, that's what manifestation is all about.

Speaker:

Oh, it's going to be so incredible.

Speaker:

Okay.

Speaker:

So I want to talk about your two truths and one lie.

Speaker:

If I remember, we said, you said your two truths and one

Speaker:

lie were you've been to Greece.

Speaker:

You're, you have a brother who was adopted whom you've never met.

Speaker:

And I think the third one was that your, your son needed a kidney transplant.

Speaker:

My son had a kidney transplant.

Speaker:

Had a kidney transplant.

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

Okay,

Speaker:

I'm gonna say, okay, I'm gonna start with the easiest one.

Speaker:

So I think the easiest one, I think you've been to Greece.

Speaker:

Am I right?

Speaker:

I have never been to Greece.

Speaker:

Darn it!

Speaker:

Okay, so, so that's the light.

Speaker:

So the other are true.

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

How old was your son when he needed a kidney transplant?

Speaker:

He was six.

Speaker:

He but he actually got his kidney transplant 15 days after he turned six.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh, that's amazing.

Speaker:

And he is thriving.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Oh, that's so incredible.

Speaker:

Wow.

Speaker:

But, and how scary, too, is a mom?

Speaker:

I mean, that is just so scary.

Speaker:

That's a lot to go through.

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

Okay, so then that means you also have a brother you haven't met.

Speaker:

Yeah, my mom had a baby at 15 and he was adopted at birth and we know

Speaker:

where he lives and, you know, my mom knows a lot about him, but she did

Speaker:

never want to contact him in case he did not want to be contacted.

Speaker:

She's on all the websites if you want to find her.

Speaker:

But I've never met him.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

That's such an

Speaker:

incredible story.

Speaker:

He has kids.

Speaker:

And so I'm an aunt and half of it makes me happy because he's thriving.

Speaker:

He has a family.

Speaker:

He has little kids, but the other half of me is like, I'm an aunt and I don't

Speaker:

know if I'll ever meet them, but.

Speaker:

I know that they have a good dad.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Yeah.

Speaker:

Oh my gosh.

Speaker:

Well, you never know.

Speaker:

You might manifest that meeting in the near future, so.

Speaker:

Yes!

Speaker:

You just don't know.

Speaker:

Oh my goodness.

Speaker:

If it's meant to be, it will, it will happen for you.

Speaker:

Absolutely.

Speaker:

That is so incredible.

Speaker:
