You will get a taste of her wisdom and leave with a call to action. In this episode, Nkechi shares two techniques that can be used to combat worry and stress. As defined, worry, refers to the thoughts, images, emotions, and actions of a negative nature in a repetitive, uncontrollable manner that results from a proactive cognitive risk analysis made to avoid or solve anticipated potential threats and their potential consequences. The words to pick up on in the definition are, 'anticipated' and 'potential'. Both which imply, that what ever the worry is, does not exist in the present moment. So, if it not part of the present moment, how real is it? Wouldn't it serve us more to keep our thoughts on what we do know to be true?Tune in for tips on how to manage worry and stress in your life!! “Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.”― Roy T.
