Are you dealing with the winter blues? Maybe some planning will help. I’m Dan Hansen and this is a minute at RepcoLite.
OK. Here’s how it works for me: the projects I plan for always turn out better than the ones that I jump into on the spur of the moment. I also find that the planning part of things is usually quite fun–it’s the time when I’m envisioning what I could do–but without the pressing need of having to turn around and actually do it in the next couple days.
So if you’re dealing with the winter blues–rather than immediately jump into a paint project . . grab a cup of coffee, a notebook and go find a quiet spot and do some planning. Think about your space: what would you like to change? What rooms need a re-do? Or maybe, for you, it’s all about outdoor projects. Maybe the fence needs stain or the barn needs paint. Or maybe it’s the deck. Whatever it is, jot it down in the notebook and then start working out what you need to do to get it done. Figure out your materials, your steps, your calendar, your budget. You’ll feel great and you’ll have a head start on those spring projects when the weather turns. I’m Dan Hansen and that’s a Minute at RepcoLite.
