Welcome to Walk as Love Podcast. The Temple doors are open.
In this sacred opening episode, Kayla invites you into the Walk as Love Temple — what it is, why the divine called her to create it, and the three eternal pillars that hold this container.
Walk as Love Temple isn't just a membership or community. It's a womb space for souls who are awakening, who feel the weight of collective knowing, who have been searching for their people and a place to truly belong.
Kayla shares her journey as a priestess in training, a therapist, a guide, and a woman navigating the collective ascension. She unveils the three sacred pillars that form the foundation of the temple:
She shares the different ways souls can walk this path with her, what the membership containers hold, and extends an invitation to those ready to remember they belong.
This is the temple. This is the sacred work. This is where you are home.
In this episode:
Walk as Love Temple Membership
The Path of Remembrance
You are never meant to walk this path alone.
Speaker A:You are the soul who is remembering, walking ahead of the wave, feeling the weight of what you know, the isolation of seeing what others can't, yet and deeply ready to come home to your people.
Speaker A:Welcome to Walk is Love.
Speaker A:I'm your host, Kayla Moore, priestess in training, and temple keeper of the Walk is Love Temple.
Speaker A:This podcast is for the awakened souls who are done healing in isolation, who feel the grief and the rage of this chaotic world and want somewhere real to put it, who know that liberation, harmony, and walking as Love aren't just ideals.
Speaker A:They are the work of our time.
Speaker A:Here we talk about what it actually means to look, liberate ourselves from patriarchal conditioning, weave the divine feminine and masculine back into harmony, and show up in this world as torchbearers of the world we know is possible.
Speaker A:This is not spiritual bypassing.
Speaker A:This is the real work, the fire, the remembering and the radical act of choosing love and community over fear and control.
Speaker A:Come gather around the fire, beloved.
Speaker A:This is where you belong.
Speaker A:Welcome, beloveds, to the Walk as Love podcast.
Speaker A:I'm Kayla Moore, your host, priestess and training, and temple keeper.
Speaker A:To the Walk as Love Temple.
Speaker A:I'm so glad to be with you in this first episode of the Walk is Love podcast.
Speaker A:This podcast is really going to be all about what I teach and what we do.
Speaker A:In the Walk is Love Temple, you are going to get firsthand insights and access to the different archetypes that we will go through in the Walk as Love Temple.
Speaker A:I will share with you any downloads that come through for me that I feel like are right to share on this platform and really give you a sense of what this temple is all about.
Speaker A:This temple has been a labor of love for me for the last six to nine months.
Speaker A:It's something that really came through for me through Spirit through the Universe in my path forward.
Speaker A:I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and a certified sex therapist.
Speaker A:And that was my career for the last six or seven years.
Speaker A: e, actually starting in about: Speaker A:It wasn't quite fulfilling enough, and something was missing for me.
Speaker A: And in: Speaker A:This community was the first ever community that I got to know what being a priestess actually looked like and got to know what the sacred feminine was and how to bridge that into the work that I was already doing.
Speaker A:And so now, as I have chosen my own path as A sacred feminine priestess.
Speaker A:And I am walking that path currently.
Speaker A: last few months at the end of: Speaker A:And next year, I will be doing the next step, which for me is really diving deep into the path of ritual and ceremony.
Speaker A:I will be learning more specifically how to create ritual, how to create ceremony.
Speaker A:And I will become, by the end of that container.
Speaker A: So end of: Speaker A:And this will really, I think, solidify where I'm at in terms of being the keeper of this temple.
Speaker A:But I decided to start this temple before I have a certificate in hand, because part of walking the priestess path is also knowing more about your intuition and your readiness than having an external entity or body tell you what, when you're ready, or that you have crossed this finish line, and therefore you are able to do a certain thing.
Speaker A:Of course, there is a balance between learning skills that you do not yet have and deepening into your own work and your own understanding of the path that is laid out in front of you.
Speaker A:But there is also knowing that we all have this within us.
Speaker A:Anyone could be a priestess if they wanted to.
Speaker A:We all have the priestess, priestess archetype within us.
Speaker A:And so being able to have agency over when and how you start something and your own path of creation is also very much part of the priestess path.
Speaker A:So I knew that I already had a lot of skills in holding space.
Speaker A: en a licensed therapist since: Speaker A:I was an associate therapist for two years before that.
Speaker A:I have started my own business and have been a private practice owner as a marriage and family therapist.
Speaker A: d finally was awarded that in: Speaker A:And so I have worked a lot with people in holding space.
Speaker A:I've worked a lot with individuals.
Speaker A:I've worked a lot with couples.
Speaker A:And I have learned a lot through the time that I've been a therapist.
Speaker A:And I knew that bridging that into the sacred world was part of my path and was something that I was meant to do.
Speaker A:I am here to hold the space.
Speaker A:I am here to lead.
Speaker A:And I do believe that I am one of the chosen people on this planet to go first, to be one of the first people that is leading us in creating a new world, that I am feeling the shifts that are happening right now that I see, I see consciousness rising.
Speaker A:And I have been going through an intense, intense transformation process.
Speaker A: , but especially this year in: Speaker A:For anyone else that is really in it, and feeling the squeeze, feeling the upgrades that have been happening, feeling your body transforming, feeling your mind and your heart, your soul, every part of you, every cell of you transforming.
Speaker A:We are the ones that are leading the charge.
Speaker A:We are the ones that are at the point, if we are all a flock of birds in a V formation.
Speaker A:We are the ones that are walking or flying at the tip and leading people to understand what is happening and to gradually bring together our chosen kin to feel like we are validated in where we are at.
Speaker A:This temple was really created for those of you that are remembering, that are waking up and looking around you and seeing the people around you are not quite there yet.
Speaker A:But you know that what we have been living in, in this world can no longer be.
Speaker A:You see the crumbling happening.
Speaker A:You know that it's just a matter of time before all the systems that were built on control, scarcity, fear, making it so that only a few at the top get resources, and the rest of us suffer.
Speaker A:Those systems are no longer going to sustain.
Speaker A:They can't.
Speaker A:Because they are not built on love.
Speaker A:They are not built on what is best for humanity.
Speaker A:And we are seeing it in real time.
Speaker A:It is happening both in the macro sense, on the world stage and in the micro.
Speaker A:I am a testament to that.
Speaker A:And I will share my story of what has been going on for me the last few months.
Speaker A:But I just wanted to give you a little bit of a background of who I am and why I am here and what you will be experiencing in this podcast.
Speaker A:This podcast is about spirituality.
Speaker A:It is about coming home to yourself.
Speaker A:It's not about the type of spirituality or religion that is going to be telling you exactly what you should believe in and how to believe in it, and that you can only do it one way.
Speaker A:That is not what we do here.
Speaker A:This is about you coming home to yourself, about you feeling like you can live in your authentic power, that you get to have your own connection to the divine, because we are all divine human beings.
Speaker A:As a mother and as someone who has grown a human in my body and birthed a human.
Speaker A:And you do not need to do that to understand the weight of this.
Speaker A:But for me, it was a very important threshold that I crossed to really understand what it means to be human, how precious human life really is.
Speaker A:And I am still a huge feminist.
Speaker A:I am still someone that is very pro choice and so absolutely you do not need to also be confined in a box of what motherhood looks like or what growing a human looks like.
Speaker A:But for me, having my son was definitely an important marker in my life of crossing a threshold into motherhood.
Speaker A:And what that meant for me really solidified that humans are my passion.
Speaker A:I love working with humans and love being a champion for humanity in general.
Speaker A:And I love being a champion for humans, being derived from love.
Speaker A:There are a lot of theories about humans and what we are at our core.
Speaker A:And I personally believe that we are essentially love and that we come from a source.
Speaker A:Whatever you want source to look like for you, it could be God, it could be the universe.
Speaker A:It really doesn't matter.
Speaker A:It just matters how it is meaningful to you.
Speaker A:I do really believe that whatever your source looks like, whatever the source is, that it is absolutely unconditional love.
Speaker A:That is the purpose, and that is what we are all held in when we come into this world, when our souls choose our path.
Speaker A:That we come into this world through unconditional love.
Speaker A:That does not mean that we all experience unconditional love in this world.
Speaker A:And that is why we need communities like this to be able to come together and to really understand.
Speaker A:How do we liberate ourselves from the conditioning that we are given once we come into this world?
Speaker A:We are staunchly given conditioning from our families, from the peers around us, from our culture, from media.
Speaker A:Everything around us is trying to tell us how we are supposed to live, who we are supposed to be, how we are supposed to walk in this world.
Speaker A:And until this point, many of us have been shielded from the truth.
Speaker A:And now we are being given the chance as those of us that are in kind of this first wave, if you will, or the first few waves of this awakening are seeing that this no longer can be.
Speaker A:We no longer can accept the status quo.
Speaker A:And actually, we are here to walk as love.
Speaker A:And that does not mean that we don't hold boundaries.
Speaker A:Love is fierce.
Speaker A:Love holds boundaries.
Speaker A:Love is here for justice and for kindness and compassion.
Speaker A:But we're not going to tolerate the things that have been cruel and violent and harmful to many, many millions of people around the world.
Speaker A:So we are here to do the inner work, to liberate ourselves from what has been going on around us, the narratives that have influenced us, the chains that have been holding us hostage, the cords that we are ready to cut.
Speaker A:We are here to learn about those through 13 different archetypes of what it means to be human.
Speaker A:Through my priestess training, we learn about 13 different feminine archetypes.
Speaker A:Because I'm not allowed to actually use the ones that I learn in my priestess training.
Speaker A:Training.
Speaker A:Until I become an ordained priestess, I have created my own version of each one.
Speaker A:And I'm taking the elements that I have gotten so far from my experience and my exposure to each one into the temple and having that be a topic of conversation that we will use each moon cycle.
Speaker A:We will take one of these archetypes each moon cycle and dive deeper into it through the chats that we have in the temple space where you can really deepen on the different questions that I have about each of the archetypes.
Speaker A:And they will, there will be daily inquiries that you can respond to and get to know each other through.
Speaker A:Also once a week we have a circle called the Fire and Kin Circle.
Speaker A:And this is about us really coming together and envisioning, if you will, that we are sitting around a fire together and really just having a chat, talking about what does this archetype mean in our lives.
Speaker A:And it's a guiding principle, but it's not an end all, be all.
Speaker A:I want these chats to also be open ended to whatever is on people's hearts that they feel like they need to be witnessed in.
Speaker A:This is a temple that as a therapist, as my background, I am wanting to hold all of the emotions.
Speaker A:It is very, very important to me that we are holding space for all of who we are, all of what we bring, and a lot of this process in terms of feeling like one, you can be very isolated as somebody who is seeing things differently than the people around you or that is waking up.
Speaker A:But knowing that real change has to be made in your life and that is scary.
Speaker A:There's so much grief that comes with this rising in consciousness and knowing that your life is going to look differently, but we can't unsee what we have seen.
Speaker A:And there is a lot of rage that comes with also knowing that things that we want to be different sometimes take a lot longer to become different than we want to.
Speaker A:And also just the injustice that we're seeing on a daily basis is so infuriating sometimes.
Speaker A:And also can come to your own personal experience of what you've experienced in your life and how what is happening either in the macro or in the micro, has personally affected you.
Speaker A:So there are so many different layers to all that we are experiencing and the emotions that come with that.
Speaker A:And so it is really important to me that I create a space throughout the entire temple where people feel incredibly safe and held and like they can bring the fullest expression of Themselves and their emotions, and they will be held and seen and witnessed.
Speaker A:And so part of the temple, too, is on, on and around the full moon.
Speaker A:I've created what is called the Holy Rage Circle.
Speaker A:And it's taken from a few different aspects of the trainings that I have done.
Speaker A:I did a manifestation training called Ziva Magic with Emily Fletcher, and her mentor is Mama Gina.
Speaker A:And Mama Gina came up with a wonderful technique called Swamping that is about expressing your full rage and your full grief and alchemizing it into joy and pleasure.
Speaker A:And then Emily Fletcher took that and created it into a manifestation technique that she also uses and moves it into more of Sex magic.
Speaker A:And so I took that technique and kind of created it into my own.
Speaker A:I am also a singer, and that is a passion that I have in life.
Speaker A:And I am bringing that element of sound, of voice, and also my spirit drum that I created this year as well, into how I can facilitate healing within the temple.
Speaker A:And so my version that I created into the Holy Rage Circle is moving people through grief and rage, through music, through sound, through me singing, through a lot of different elements of voice and music and sound to somatically feel grief rage fully in our bodies and then alchemize it into joy and pleasure.
Speaker A:I am a certified sex therapist, but I know a lot of people don't have the ability to quite go into that space yet.
Speaker A:So I tend to alchemize it more into a joy space, into a place of feeling positive in your body, feeling fully embodied in your body, and also being in a community of people that are doing the same.
Speaker A:A really important aspect of the temple is community.
Speaker A:We are healing in community.
Speaker A:So in this circle, we are experiencing our feelings together at the same time.
Speaker A:And then we alchemize, which means transform it into joy and pleasure.
Speaker A:And whatever that means to you and whatever you're able to access in that moment is perfectly fine.
Speaker A:But we don't want to stay stuck in the grief and the rage.
Speaker A:We want to move it into something that is available energy and easier energy to then cast a vision for what we want better in the world.
Speaker A:So once we alchemize it into joy and pleasure, then we visualize what we want this world to be like, how we want the world to be different.
Speaker A:So many people can say what they dislike about this world, but very few people are actually talking about what we want the world to look like instead.
Speaker A:And so this is our place to really start to manifest and to see a vision of what a world could look like instead of what we have currently, when we focus on what we want instead of what we don't want, that is how we are going to change the world.
Speaker A:So that is the holy rage circle.
Speaker A:Another aspect of this temple is on or around the new moon, there is initiation circle for all of the people that come in around the same time in that month or moon cycle before that new moon, you will come in as a cohort together.
Speaker A:And so you have the option if you want to attend the initiation circle.
Speaker A:And this is just a circle where you get to be witnessed in why you chose to enter into the temple, what you are letting go of and what you are stepping into.
Speaker A:And it's kind of your initiation point where you are crossing the threshold together as a cohort into the temple and you don't have to stay as a cohort.
Speaker A:But it's a good way to already have met some people so that you have some familiar faces in the temple and know who, who are some of the people that are around you as you get to know everyone else in the temple.
Speaker A:Currently the temple is only online in Mighty networks community space.
Speaker A:I would love though to grow it to where we can have actual in person circles and different workshops and things.
Speaker A:In my local town, I am in Gig Harbor, Washington on the PNW Pacific Northwest coast.
Speaker A:And I would love to be able to eventually have land where I can host people on my land to hold retreats.
Speaker A:There's endless things that I want to do at this temple.
Speaker A:But for now we are starting as an online community and all of the circles that I just mentioned will be online as zoom circles.
Speaker A:And so people can join from anywhere in the world, which is really, really cool.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:There's a, you know, balance between wanting to do in person, because in person is the most potent medicine you will ever have.
Speaker A:We just can't replicate that online.
Speaker A:But also online provides a really broad net so that lots of people from all over the world can be able to join and learn and grow and heal together in community.
Speaker A:So I think there will always be a hybrid version that allows anyone from anywhere to be part of the temple, but then also create some really specific containers that will be in person containers as well.
Speaker A:So that is my vision for growing the temple and I think there are so many things that we can do.
Speaker A:The last thing that I really want to pinpoint is that this is a co ed temple.
Speaker A:So because I have a lot of experience, experience in working with couples, working with all different types of individuals, not just women, I felt like I had A very unique opportunity in creating this temple to move the healing work that I have experienced in the women only spaces that I have been in into a co ed space.
Speaker A:And this is going to be co created over time.
Speaker A:I'm interested to see how many people this will attract because I know that I feel like we're right on the cusp of this.
Speaker A:But a lot of people still have a hard time hearing the experience of the other.
Speaker A:And I completely understand that.
Speaker A:I completely understand that.
Speaker A:And I've held a lot of opposing views and hurt emotions and feelings and trauma in all, all forms throughout the experiences that I've had as a therapist.
Speaker A:And so I completely understand where people are coming from.
Speaker A:And I really do feel like bringing it to the sacred.
Speaker A:We all have divine feminine and divine masculine energy within all of us.
Speaker A:Regardless of what your identity is.
Speaker A:We all have these energies which are just archetypes within us.
Speaker A:We all come from a sperm and an egg.
Speaker A:And so we all hold these divine codes within all of us.
Speaker A:This more masculine energy to be able to hold safety and hold a container.
Speaker A:And this more feminine energy that is more about creativity and receptivity and being able to allow something to happen, but also birthing it through the idea.
Speaker A:And the masculine then holds the form and kind of channels that creative energy into something that can bring it into the 3D world.
Speaker A:And these energies are so exquisite and they play so seamlessly with each other, but they have been completely distorted in our world and how we see them and how we have kind of pinpoint them as actual identities and gender roles within our society.
Speaker A:And so coming back to understanding what is the divine feminine, what is the divine masculine, and how do we weave those back into harmony, into what it means to be human is I think, one of the biggest missions that I have with this temple.
Speaker A:And so it's a, it's a big mission, it's a big feat.
Speaker A:But I think it's really, really important to be able to bridge the gap between the genders, between the sexes right now in our world.
Speaker A:I really, truly believe that patriarchy has created a division between us for a reason.
Speaker A:And it is to keep us separate.
Speaker A:And a lot of damage and a lot of harm has been caused because of that.
Speaker A:And we cannot erase that, we cannot gloss over that.
Speaker A:We have to be able to hold that and understand it and heal it and then be able to move into how do we come together as humanity so that we are standing up against the forces that are trying to create a world that nobody can live in.
Speaker A:So what this realistically looks like is once we get all different types of people in the temple that identify as female, male, gender, non conforming, lgbtqia.
Speaker A:I am open to all and everyone, whoever is feeling called to be in this space.
Speaker A:I want to create some separate, safe spaces for same identity to people, so that we have spaces to kind of move through a lot of the liberating from the patriarchal system of what our own lived experience looked like together.
Speaker A:That it is really important, I think, to have women's spaces and men's spaces where you are feeling validated in your own experience because you see yourself in the people around you.
Speaker A:I think that is fully so important.
Speaker A:And then having different experiences like the fire and kin circle to come together as all of us in the temple together, and being able to hold opposing or just different experiences and narratives of what it's like to walk in this world as whoever that person is.
Speaker A:And the most experience that I have doing this is with women.
Speaker A:And I have seen with a lot of women.
Speaker A:When we start to unmask ourselves and start to see the illusions that we have held for so long, there is a natural and very real and totally valid response to feel extremely angry.
Speaker A:And that is completely okay, we need to feel that anger.
Speaker A:We need to feel that rage.
Speaker A:It is sacred rage.
Speaker A:It is holy rage.
Speaker A:And it is something that we need to feel fully.
Speaker A:And if there's any grief with any of that, there's so many women that I've worked with that hold a lot of grief around what they've experienced as well.
Speaker A:And that is partly why I also created the holy rage circle.
Speaker A:Because a lot of this work creates a lot of emotion that we have to then release and move through in order to heal.
Speaker A:And so I think that's kind of phase one for a lot of people.
Speaker A:And I think men would probably be the same.
Speaker A:There is a lot of grief and rage when we start to see the things that we did not see before.
Speaker A:And once we're able to move through a lot of that and feel validated in our own experience and to heal somewhat from our own experience, I think the next level is being able to actually hear and understand other people's experiences.
Speaker A:And especially in the work with couples, specifically heterosexual couples, to be able to hear and understand and fully empathize with the other person's experience.
Speaker A:And so in the temple, whether or not the person you're talking to is a partner, that's okay.
Speaker A:It's more about can you have the capacity to hear another person's experience from the opposite gender, or from somebody that identifies completely different as you and may have had a complete different experience as you and may have some ties to the experience that you have had, but maybe on the opposite side of it, can you fully hold that without feeling like the things that you have experienced are being diminished by someone else's?
Speaker A:So that is a really hard and big skill to develop for a lot of people.
Speaker A:But I really think that it's necessary in order for us to be able to hear each other and understand how so many people in this world, men, women, all different kinds of people, are all carrying trauma from the patriarchy.
Speaker A:The patriarchy does not discriminate.
Speaker A:It is here to really make everyone's life harder and not available to thriving.
Speaker A:In my opinion, it is really important that we work through these layers and get to a place where we can hold space for each other.
Speaker A:And I think the third layer then would be to understand how have I participated in perpetuating the narratives of our patriarchal society that not only can I hold someone else's experience, but now I can look in within myself and really see where did I participate in this?
Speaker A:Maybe not specifically in someone's experience, but just in general.
Speaker A:Like, what are the narratives?
Speaker A:What are the lies that I believed?
Speaker A:And there's no judgment around that at all.
Speaker A:We all have done it.
Speaker A:But where can I take responsibility for the things that I have created in my own world that perpetuated that understanding of patriarchy?
Speaker A:And again, absolutely no judgment.
Speaker A:We have all done it.
Speaker A:We have all been participants in this experiment of patriarchy, and that's okay.
Speaker A:But we're here to acknowledge it and to figure out, okay, how do we do this differently moving forward?
Speaker A:But in order to do it differently, we have to acknowledge it, and we have to know how we're going to not allow that to happen anymore.
Speaker A:So those are the stages I believe that we need to take in order to weave the divine feminine and divine masculine back into what it means to be human and how to create a sacredness around being human again versus what we have now.
Speaker A:And I think through liberating ourselves from patriarchal conditioning, weaving the divine feminine, divine masculine back into what it means to be human, we are able to then walk back out into our lives and carry a torch of love.
Speaker A:And it's not easy.
Speaker A:I will tell you, it is not easy.
Speaker A:I have been on this journey and there are a lot of moments where it feels isolating and it feels like you're alone, and it feels like there's not a lot of people that understand why and how you're doing what you're doing.
Speaker A:But that is why we are in the temple together.
Speaker A:We are here to stand at each other's backs and to give each other that support so that we can walk back out into our lives the best that we can and choose love in the hard moments instead of choosing fear or manipulation or scarcity and contraction.
Speaker A:That we open our hearts and we walk as love.
Speaker A:And we say, I'm going to continue walking a path of compassion, kindness, freedom, justice, and move forward even through the darkness and the chaos that we find ourselves in right now.
Speaker A:So this temple has a big mission.
Speaker A:This is not just another community that you are stepping into to just kind of hang out and see who's there and then leave.
Speaker A:This temple is really about making a difference in the world and wanting people to feel like they have a community and they have a family around them to do it.
Speaker A:So if that is something that is interesting to you and something that you feel called to, I would love for you to go down into the show notes and to click on the link for the Walk is Love Temple website and to explore more about the temple and see if joining as a member would be something that you are interested in.
Speaker A:All right, beloveds, until next time.
Speaker A:Thank you so much for being here.
Speaker A:Thank you so much for learning about what this is all about and wanting to take this journey with me.
Speaker A:And I hope you come back next week for my next episode where I will talk about my own experience, what I've been up to the last few months and why this is such an important mission.
Speaker A:Not only because I care about the world and humanity, but also for myself in my own life.
Speaker A:How it's not only just out there on the world stage, but it is really happening also in my personal life too.
Speaker A:So stay tuned and I will talk to you next time.
Speaker A:Thank you for gathering around the fire with me today.
Speaker A:Beloved, if this episode touched something in you, share it with a soul you know who needs to hear it.
Speaker A:The right people find this work through each other and if you are ready to stop walking this path alone, Walk is Love Temple is open, a sacred community for the souls who are remembering.
