Chapter 4: The Conditions of Flow

“It is not easy to transform ordinary experience into flow, but almost everyone can improve his or her ability to do so”.”

In this chapter, we delve into the particular activities that are likely to produce flow experiences as well as the personal traits that can help people achieve flow more easily. As MC says, “While [optimal experiences] may happen spontaneously, it is much more likely that flow will result from a structured activity, or from an individual’s ability to make flow occur, or both.”
