Roll the dice, raise the ale Heroes.
Speaker B:Gather, tell the tale Chat mund and done.
Speaker B:The quest's begun not ones fly, but we still run Mud's up high Let legends come welcome into Chat one and done.
Speaker A:What you're about to witness is nothing short of a masterpiece.
Speaker A:A battle of innovators.
Speaker A:A literal clash of titans.
Speaker A:This is the finals of the first ever Sovereign 8 Invitational.
Speaker A:The stakes are high, but some.
Speaker A:But somehow not as high as your hosts.
Speaker A:In this corner, we have the Lord of the Verbal Beatdowns, the father of many people's downfalls, the Architect of Destruction and the Dildo Dungeon.
Speaker A:On loan from Tabletop, Jamaica, we have Andre.
Speaker A:Andre, how you doing?
Speaker B:Hi, I'm Andre from Tabletop, Jamaica.
Speaker B:The architect of Dildo Dungeon is now, I guess, on my resume.
Speaker A:Yeah, United is that.
Speaker C:I need to make that into a fucking sticker, too.
Speaker A:All right, in the opposite corner, the most positive person you will ever meet, the mother of unorthodox inventions, the creative genius behind the honey badger.
Speaker A:Skip it.
Speaker C:And.
Speaker A:And Strawbucks, the demoness who always aims to impress, we have Lilith.
Speaker D:That was actually very, very flattering, all those titles.
Speaker B:Thank you.
Speaker A:This took me about three hours to write and rewrite.
Speaker A:Behind the Scenes.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker C:When we get off here, I will show you some of that Strahd merch.
Speaker A:Yeah, we have strawed merch.
Speaker A:Now, I'm.
Speaker C:Yeah, I'm about to print these out and cut these into stickers.
Speaker D:So, yeah, all the thirsty vampire people are going wild right now.
Speaker A:Dante, are you going wild right now?
Speaker B:Offensive term is an offensive term to the vampire people, by the way.
Speaker A:Not cool, Lily.
Speaker A:Not cool.
Speaker D:I already got canceled.
Speaker A:You just offended 90% of our fan base.
Speaker E:We prefer suckers.
Speaker D:I offended myself.
Speaker A:All right, guys, how you feeling today?
Speaker A:You guys have made it to the finals.
Speaker A:Against all odds, you guys have punched your way into the finals.
Speaker A:Just recap, Lilith, your first round, you beat Demonesta.
Speaker A:Impress.
Speaker A:Semifinals, you beat Max.
Speaker D:That's what I was thinking.
Speaker A:You gotta beat yourself mentally to get there.
Speaker A:You know what I'm saying?
Speaker A:You like that save, right?
Speaker A:I'm sorry.
Speaker A:First round, you beat Reps and Respawn.
Speaker A:Second one, you beat Mac.
Speaker A:And now you're here in the finals, Andre.
Speaker A:First round, you played Toast, AKA Slippery Rick.
Speaker A:And second rounds, you beat Dice Circus.
Speaker A:Joe.
Speaker A:Joe from Dice Circus.
Speaker A:I'm sorry, I don't know what's going on today.
Speaker B:Circus.
Speaker A:Jedish Joe from Dice Circus.
Speaker A:Again.
Speaker A:You, cj.
Speaker A:Sweet Swedish to get here.
Speaker A:How are you guys feeling?
Speaker A:Did you guys think you're gonna make it this far.
Speaker B:Well, yes.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker B:After I burned toast and put the circus out of town, I feel really.
Speaker C:Good.
Speaker E:Poking on them because they're not here.
Speaker A:Damn.
Speaker A:Real big dog.
Speaker A:Cause they can't defend themselves.
Speaker A:He's like, call him up.
Speaker A:I'll tell him.
Speaker D:Meanwhile, I was over here, I made a mother and I.
Speaker D:And I let Matt keep the butt plugs.
Speaker B:So I. Yeah.
Speaker A:Plus the bracket was really friendship based.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Right side of the bracket was just being really mean to people.
Speaker A:I love how the all hints the buffs got from Rudy was, yeah,.
Speaker E:Your friends.
Speaker D:It did happen.
Speaker A:It's all canon.
Speaker A:It's in there.
Speaker A:You guys can go back and listen to it.
Speaker C:They do say the best part of DND is hitting on the homies.
Speaker D:True.
Speaker B:I.
Speaker A:Real butt plugs of the friends who made along the way.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:There does seem to be some parallel between certain themes like box plugs and dildo dungeons.
Speaker B:Honestly, if neither of them show up in this campaign or adventure that we're doing, I would be shocked.
Speaker C:Just saying.
Speaker A:My brother, dungeon dildo just came out in the.
Speaker A:Yeah, it was in your intro.
Speaker C:That is your next campaign.
Speaker A:Someone should have made a bingo card for this.
Speaker D:Missed opportunity.
Speaker D:I got bingo.
Speaker D:I win.
Speaker D:That's actually how you win the finale is you have to get bingo.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:None of this mattered.
Speaker D:Somewhere, like, one of the other contestants who we thought were out of it is going to be like popping in, being like, I got bingo.
Speaker D:I won.
Speaker A:Just halfway through the call, you're going to see somebody join.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:G4 is where you mentioned honey badgers.
Speaker A:All the.
Speaker A:All the hits.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker A:A very weird insult.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker A:All of it.
Speaker A:All of it's in there.
Speaker A:All right, guys.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So this has been a crazy journey to get to this point.
Speaker A:I think we.
Speaker A:When did we start actually recording our first episode?
Speaker A:That was like, April.
Speaker A:Like, end of April, I want to say was our first episode.
Speaker E:It's been a while.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:This has been a long road to get here.
Speaker A:It's been a lot of planning, a lot of replanning.
Speaker B:Because you're coordinating people from, like, different time zones.
Speaker A:It's been a pain in the ass.
Speaker A:It's the hardest thing ever because they're like, oh, I have these days.
Speaker A:I have these days.
Speaker A:Like, I don't have these days.
Speaker A:I'm like, come on, guys, please.
Speaker A:We're trying to get this done.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Imagine I just show up, which is actually harder than you might think.
Speaker A:I'm just here whenever.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I just appear and kick ass.
Speaker B:And then go back to my time zone.
Speaker D:All in a day's work.
Speaker A:So what have been some of your guys favorite moments from your guys respective brackets?
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:Go ahead.
Speaker D:I know, go.
Speaker D:I'm still.
Speaker D:I'm still cutting them down and deciding.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Because I think I'm going to incorporate sideways walking crap shoes into my campaign.
Speaker A:The Crustacean Cruisers.
Speaker D:The way you just came up with that name, like off the dome too, is crazy to me.
Speaker D:I was like, oh, my God.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah, that was in there.
Speaker A:It's like the Crustacean crew.
Speaker A:But I don't know how everybody missed that.
Speaker D:That was awesome.
Speaker E:How did you start out?
Speaker E:So I'm just like, how do you feel the cutting edge of evolution?
Speaker A:A solid line.
Speaker A:Y' all want to be on the.
Speaker B:Cutting edge of evolution watching videos about how everything turns into crabs.
Speaker B:And it's very interesting to me up to this week, I watched another one.
Speaker A:We turned your whole for you page into just crab content.
Speaker E:Brick by brick, baby.
Speaker D:Now we're bringing crabs into this.
Speaker D:We have plugs, we have dildos.
Speaker D:And now the crabs have come.
Speaker D:We've got on the wrong side of this whole situation.
Speaker B:Dungeons Dragons dildos and decapods.
Speaker C:Dickapods.
Speaker A:She's just hearing what he wants to.
Speaker D:Hear over those two.
Speaker C:I was just adding to it.
Speaker C:Dare you assume what I'm doing?
Speaker C:Don't you mind you what I'm having?
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:I think.
Speaker D:Oh, gosh.
Speaker D:So a lot of my favorite moments happen before recording, which makes it really hard.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker D:Some of those conversations are just so hilarious and genuine.
Speaker D:But also, you, like, there's none of the stresses of trying to be in a tournament or run a tournament.
Speaker D:So we're all just like, like making fun of sweetened versus unsweetened tea.
Speaker D:Was like, still something I think about which.
Speaker E:Which, sorry to pause.
Speaker E:Andre, what's your take on the tea today, junior?
Speaker B:Oh, I drink a lot of unsweetened tea.
Speaker E:I'm sorry you've lost the tournament.
Speaker E:It' nice knowing you.
Speaker C:Hey, hey, hey.
Speaker A:What's wrong with unsweetened tea?
Speaker A:Can you give negative style points?
Speaker B:I need.
Speaker B:Hold on.
Speaker B:I need a clean airway for this.
Speaker B:I am over 30 and I have abs.
Speaker B:I can have abs or a lot of sugar.
Speaker B:I had to choose one.
Speaker B:I drink unsweetened tea.
Speaker B:I drink.
Speaker C:Nothing wrong with that.
Speaker B:I will die on that hill.
Speaker D:It's a good hill to die on.
Speaker D:I gotta be real.
Speaker D:It's a good hill to die on.
Speaker D:I won't be dying on that same hill.
Speaker D:But good death to you.
Speaker D:Besides that, I did love also the 20 questions game that Mac and I did where we were both just really trying to figure out what was going on the whole time, and we were both subtly trying to help each other.
Speaker D:And, like, no, you're on.
Speaker D:Like, you're on the right track.
Speaker D:Think about it this way.
Speaker D:And a game that, like, should have required, like, a lot of brain power and a lot of thinking.
Speaker D:And while it did, it also just was really funny and silly at the same time because we're both like, oh, my God, I forgot everything I ever knew about D and D. And then it just proceeded into this long, silly, hilarious heist where I got shit in my face and Matt got stuck in statue's ass and we met the Honey Badger.
Speaker D:Skip it.
Speaker D:In real life.
Speaker D:And I think it was just a really good preface to the whole conclusion of that episode.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker E:So here's the thing.
Speaker E:It was never a statue.
Speaker A:Oh, no.
Speaker B:I like how friendly the Left side of Bracket has been.
Speaker B:And similar to what you're saying, even before, like, the conversations that we have before the recording.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Even today, like, going through.
Speaker B:And it was some of the better parts to the point where we're like, oh, we should start recording and stop wasting gold.
Speaker B:I just want the audience to know that Lilith and I were getting along because once this starts going soon, I'm gonna start real.
Speaker A:I wanna see some blood.
Speaker E:God.
Speaker C:We were all having genuine fun conversation beforehand.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:I wanted to just establish that we were having real.
Speaker A:Friends no matter what you're about to hear.
Speaker E:Yeah, we're actually all getting matching transparent tattoos after this.
Speaker D:Yeah, I already have them designed.
Speaker B:I already have mine.
Speaker B:I got mine early.
Speaker B:Oh, no.
Speaker A:Oh, he got his pre made.
Speaker D:The photo I sent you.
Speaker A:All right, guys, so we can't afford the licensing to any actual music, but if you guys could pick your walkout song for this episode, for today, for the finals, what would you guys pick?
Speaker C:I should have made it.
Speaker B:For me.
Speaker B:Since I am playing my Good Bad Alibi, I'm going to stick with Fallout Boy.
Speaker B:My songs.
Speaker B:Know what you did.
Speaker B:In the dark.
Speaker A:That's a solid walk out.
Speaker A:That's a solid walk out.
Speaker D:That's a good one.
Speaker D:So thus far, I've chosen pretty non serious silly songs.
Speaker D:But in respect to my competition and in respect to the fact that it's the finale, I have to stay true to what's about to happen.
Speaker D:And my walkout song would be Another One Bites the Dust.
Speaker D:Ooh, Oof.
Speaker E:Yay.
Speaker C:Oof.
Speaker A:She came to Play Dante.
Speaker B:What I like about that song is that it doesn't specify who bites the dust.
Speaker B:Oh,.
Speaker D:I'm dressed in black.
Speaker D:I'm ready for the funeral.
Speaker D:I hope that.
Speaker A:I gotta give a style point there.
Speaker C:Just saying.
Speaker D:I was like, oh,.
Speaker A:Damn, this is gonna be a good episode.
Speaker B:I was waiting for the verbal.
Speaker B:Go ahead for the trash style course.
Speaker C:Don't worry, it's still coming.
Speaker C:And my one song would be Thriller.
Speaker D:Isn't fair.
Speaker A:Be thriller.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker A:I could see that.
Speaker A:Just come out with sparklers.
Speaker A:That'd be pretty cool.
Speaker B:That's sparkly.
Speaker A:Dante, what would be your song?
Speaker E:I think probably just skip out into the arena with a kazoo just playing horribly.
Speaker D:Would you be playing the kazoo or would someone else be playing?
Speaker A:I would be playing it, yeah.
Speaker A:It's just the final countdown, but just kazoo.
Speaker A:I think my walkout song would be.
Speaker A:It's because this is kind of bittersweet.
Speaker C:Because we are at the end of the series.
Speaker A:No, Jesus, no.
Speaker A:We're at the end of, like, the series, and it kind of, like, it bums me out because, like, I've had so much fun making this fucking.
Speaker A:It's, like, so different from what we've done before, and it kind of bums me out.
Speaker A:But I'd go with Cowboys Don't Cry.
Speaker A:But Oliver Tree.
Speaker A:Because the beginning is.
Speaker A:I'm no good at goodbyes.
Speaker C:No.
Speaker A:Rocket launcher.
Speaker A:Start firing into the crowd.
Speaker A:Like, yeah, guys, party.
Speaker A:Okay, so we're gonna move on to the.
Speaker C:Firing a rocket launcher at the crowd.
Speaker C:That's just mass murder, bro.
Speaker A:Everybody gets it.
Speaker A:I want to be the winner.
Speaker A:All right?
Speaker A:Nobody can see me lose if ain't nobody around.
Speaker A:All right, guys, this is the segment for exactly.
Speaker A:We're gonna move on to the segment where it's friendly trash talk.
Speaker A:Friendly trash talk.
Speaker A:Guys, remember, we're all friends here.
Speaker A:Oh, no.
Speaker A:Everybody.
Speaker A:Everybody's.
Speaker A:Yo, Y' all smiling kind of.
Speaker A:Kind of malicious over there.
Speaker A:The camera zoom.
Speaker A:The camera zoom makes it so much worse.
Speaker A:I seen you.
Speaker D:All right, guys, the camera wants.
Speaker A:Who wants to go first?
Speaker B:It feels bad because we're having such, like, a fun.
Speaker B:A fun and friendly time.
Speaker B:I don't want to come out and be just, like, off camera.
Speaker E:She was talking about your mama.
Speaker A:O.
Speaker B:You know what would be hilarious?
Speaker B:If we just turned to the horse and just rose them like, damn.
Speaker B:I never knew Dimension 20 had remedial classes.
Speaker A:Ow.
Speaker A:How do I give negative style points now?
Speaker A:Like, seriously, now, Jesus jokes on you.
Speaker A:I don't even know what any of that means.
Speaker C:Yeah, he said Something about remodeling, something.
Speaker B:Remedial classes.
Speaker A:I get to hear something about the Home Depot.
Speaker C:Yes.
Speaker C:Remodeling glasses.
Speaker C:I got you.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:I like the inside.
Speaker D:All right, all right.
Speaker A:That swung a little bit.
Speaker A:I gotta give him a style point on that one.
Speaker A:That was a pretty good one.
Speaker D:He's.
Speaker D:Yeah, he turned on us.
Speaker A:He turned on us, boys.
Speaker A:Put him down.
Speaker D:All right, so I was on the.
Speaker D:The nice, friendly side of the bracket, so this isn't really my strength, but I think everyone's seen that.
Speaker D:So I had to prepare what I was gonna say ahead of time.
Speaker D:So no one roasts me.
Speaker D:Well, actually, I think that's the point.
Speaker D:So, like, a little bit.
Speaker D:But for.
Speaker D:For everyone who was listening and wasn't able to see the preparation for this, I did invite everyone, contestants, past and present, to just simply throw insults at me at random so I could practice.
Speaker D:It didn't quite happen that way because everyone's very nice.
Speaker D:But I did instead write a cheeky poem that describes how I feel.
Speaker D:So I should.
Speaker D:I should read it.
Speaker D:Hey, don't do that.
Speaker D:I worked hard on this.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:Quote the story of contestants so clever and cunning.
Speaker D:Though one must say.
Speaker D:Though I must say 1/2 a performance more stunning.
Speaker D:First her mom, she'd asked slain for mun muns and swords.
Speaker D:Then Mac was defeated since the honey badger desired more though now two here stand in neither sewer nor strawbucks, though.
Speaker D:Andre, just one question.
Speaker D:Are you ready to get fucked up?
Speaker A:Damn.
Speaker A:Damn.
Speaker A:Mic drop actually looks like an expensive mic.
Speaker E:I want that on my fridge with a little gold star.
Speaker E:That was touching.
Speaker A:Damn.
Speaker B:Just a turn is usually only six seconds.
Speaker B:That took so long to get to the point that I wanted to cast high his midway, which is also sort of funny because you look like the material component for the slow spell.
Speaker E:God damn.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:Mm.
Speaker D:Keep going.
Speaker D:I dare you.
Speaker D:I got another.
Speaker D:I got a lot of poems.
Speaker D:I'll just torture you with those if they're so horrific.
Speaker B:I didn't know charisma was your dumb stat.
Speaker D:Really?
Speaker D:I thought it was pretty obvious, to be honest.
Speaker C:God damn.
Speaker B:Jesus.
Speaker D:Intelligence is my strong stat.
Speaker D:Something you can't relate to.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:All right, I gotta give style points on both ends of that.
Speaker A:That was pretty verbal jousting.
Speaker A:I love it.
Speaker A:Oh, man.
Speaker D:So I have to keep going.
Speaker A:You guys host.
Speaker A:You guys feel like they.
Speaker A:They got their filler.
Speaker E:I wasn't even in the crossfire.
Speaker E:My feelings are hurt.
Speaker A:I mean, we were in the beginning.
Speaker A:He got us in the beginning.
Speaker D:I Know better than to insult the host.
Speaker D:That's a.
Speaker A:You don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:So is this where we bring out the switchblades I was told about, or is that later?
Speaker A:Yeah, we didn't have the budget for it after renovations.
Speaker A:Yeah, we'd have the budget for after renovations.
Speaker A:You gotta have to bring your own.
Speaker D:Oh, yeah.
Speaker B:One dude did literally bring a sword.
Speaker B:So I just been walking with, like, katana ever since, just in case.
Speaker D:Oh, I don't know.
Speaker B:Had a sword behind him.
Speaker D:I have this.
Speaker A:Preparation.
Speaker E:Got the Trojan man over here.
Speaker A:The preparation on.
Speaker A:This is beautiful.
Speaker D:The gas helmet.
Speaker D:I'm trying to put it down without my camera being weird.
Speaker E:The clank.
Speaker C:Okay.
Speaker A:All right, guys, are you ready to move on to the final game?
Speaker E:Can we just.
Speaker E:One.
Speaker E:One more pause.
Speaker E:Like, it's hilarious how a good half of the people we've had on for this just have medieval weaponry by their computers.
Speaker E:Like, all right, it's fair.
Speaker B:Give me 10 seconds.
Speaker B:I'm so sorry.
Speaker D:I also have this bard hat that I would have had on.
Speaker A:Sick.
Speaker D:I know it's not a big stream, but it is.
Speaker D:It's blue and there's a lot of feathers, and it's very puffy, and I'm struggling to put it on over my headset.
Speaker E:Is that velour?
Speaker D:My guy.
Speaker B:I'm back.
Speaker B:Almost.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:That's sick.
Speaker D:Oh, shoot.
Speaker E:Wait, but where's the studs?
Speaker B:The stud is right here, bro.
Speaker E:Yeah, that's my guy.
Speaker E:Style point.
Speaker E:Style point.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:That's a style point.
Speaker A:That was pretty good.
Speaker A:That's a style point.
Speaker D:That was funny.
Speaker D:He pointed to himself.
Speaker A:He made it funny.
Speaker A:Okay, are you guys ready for the final game?
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker A:So for our listeners that have been following along since the beginning of the season, we came up with 12 random games.
Speaker A:Well, not random games.
Speaker A:Dante put a lot of thought into them.
Speaker A:Thank you, Dante.
Speaker A:They were beautiful.
Speaker E:It was my helmet from remedial school.
Speaker B:Also.
Speaker B:You do know what that meant?
Speaker A:Apparently from remedial dimension 20.
Speaker A:So every round, we would roll a D12 and remove a game.
Speaker A:Jesus Christ.
Speaker A:This boy is far behind us.
Speaker A:And we would eliminate a game until we get to the finals, where there is no more games.
Speaker A:So for the finals, we had our contestants go ahead and build a character each at level 12.
Speaker A:And what the final round is.
Speaker A:I've been saying it since the beginning.
Speaker A:What I wanted from this was a giant kumite where our friends fight to the death.
Speaker A:And the cult finally gave us a way through.
Speaker A:You guys are Gonna be playing as your characters.
Speaker A:You're gonna 1v1.
Speaker A:I know it's discouraged in regular campaigns.
Speaker A:Outgoing PvP.
Speaker E:Blood for the blood.
Speaker B:God, I would have gotten all support spells if I knew I would not do.
Speaker A:And that's why we didn't tell you what the thing was.
Speaker A:This has always been.
Speaker A:This has always been the end goal.
Speaker B:I'm so glad we Both decided on 69 HP.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:They start with 69 HP.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker E:She said that she's editing.
Speaker D:Okay, okay, okay.
Speaker D:I'm at 69.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker B:Nice.
Speaker D:Ayo, nice.
Speaker C:All right.
Speaker A:And through the magic of the wonder of D and D and theater of the mind, thanks to the cult and Dante's powers of transportation, we're gonna.
Speaker A:We're gonna shift you guys to your our first location.
Speaker A:Are you guys ready?
Speaker A:You guys got your spells equipped?
Speaker A:You guys got your studded armors?
Speaker E:Are y' all stretched in limber always?
Speaker A:All right, Dante, take us away.
Speaker E:All right, my lovely contestants, we are now going to beginning in our lovely tavern basement.
Speaker E:I want you to picture a cockfighting ring of sorts.
Speaker E:We have roaring drunken patrons all around us, cheering, throwing bottles.
Speaker E:It's going to be a regular scrap fest.
Speaker E:The lighting is dim, the floors are damp, sticky in spots.
Speaker E:See what you can do to add to the the canvas that we have ahead of us.
Speaker E:Ew.
Speaker B:I don't want to add to this canvas.
Speaker B:It's sticky.
Speaker A:Guys, welcome to our battle ring basement.
Speaker A:And as per the cult's funding, we were able to get you guys just a nice little.
Speaker A:A nice little treat here for each of you guys.
Speaker A:Every round we're gonna randomly roll to see what item you guys are gonna get.
Speaker A:I'm gonna give you guys just a random generated generated item.
Speaker A:And then you guys will lose it by the end of the round.
Speaker A:And then you guys will gain a new one at the start of the next round.
Speaker D:Wow, that could be game changing actually.
Speaker A:Alright, will one of you guys roll a D6 for me so I can determine the rarity of what you guys are going to be getting?
Speaker D:Oh.
Speaker D:Do you want to do it or shall I?
Speaker B:Oh, you.
Speaker B:Because I can't figure out where to die.
Speaker B:Oh, there we are.
Speaker D:Do it again.
Speaker D:Okay, do it.
Speaker E:All right.
Speaker A:5 Gets you very rare.
Speaker A:Good roll.
Speaker A:Good roll.
Speaker A:Are you ready?
Speaker D:Mm.
Speaker A:All right, Lilith, your item is going to be the Sky Weavers tapestry.
Speaker A:It's a wondrous item.
Speaker A:Very rare.
Speaker A:You can speak a command word as an action to make this carpet hover and fly.
Speaker A:It has a flying speed of 80ft and can carry up to 800 pounds.
Speaker A:It moves according to your spoken directions while you're within 30ft of it.
Speaker B:A whole new world.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:You get a magic carpet.
Speaker D:Oh, okay.
Speaker B:Not a new fantastic point of view.
Speaker A:All right, Andre, you get the Stormbreakers warhammer.
Speaker A:I am so sorry.
Speaker A:It's a warhammer.
Speaker A:It's very rare.
Speaker A:It requires attunement, so you're gonna have to figure out a moment to do that.
Speaker B:Cool.
Speaker A:You gain a plus 3 bonus to attacks and damage rolls.
Speaker A:And once per day, when you hit with an attack, you can call down lightning, forcing the T the target to make a DC17 dexterity saving throw.
Speaker A:Or take an extra 66 lightning damage.
Speaker B:Versus Thor.
Speaker A:Maybe.
Speaker A:Don't use that.
Speaker A:Don't use that effect.
Speaker A:I don't want you blowing holes in our roof.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker C:Dante took all our funding.
Speaker C:So what?
Speaker C:Repairs?
Speaker C:Not likely.
Speaker A:Yeah, I don't think the cult wants to spend more money on us.
Speaker E:I had an event here last night.
Speaker E:That's why the floors are sticky.
Speaker A:Ew.
Speaker B:That doesn't make it better.
Speaker B:We figured it was an event.
Speaker A:We figured something broke.
Speaker D:Unless the floors just ooze.
Speaker A:Alrighty.
Speaker C:I mean, Dante's only slimes.
Speaker C:You know it slime speaks for itself.
Speaker A:All righty, guys.
Speaker A:Welcome to the Battle Dungeon.
Speaker A:The Battle Basement.
Speaker A:We couldn't afford the dildo dungeon.
Speaker A:He would have rented out to us.
Speaker A:Welcome to the Battle Dungeon.
Speaker A:You guys roll Initiative.
Speaker B:Okay, get started.
Speaker E:All right.
Speaker A:That's about enough of that song as we can afford.
Speaker E:Yep.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker B:Wait, did I not roll Initiative?
Speaker B:Oh, that was yours.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:I saw the dice roll when I clicked it, and I was like, oh, it's such a high roll.
Speaker B:And apparently I clicked the word and the number and you rolled a 21.
Speaker B:And I was like.
Speaker B:And then.
Speaker B:But it has seven.
Speaker D:It's all right.
Speaker D:We still got 69 health points, so nothing's gone wrong.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker E:With that, I believe our first move is going to be made by Anita Hardcock.
Speaker D:Yeah, that's me.
Speaker B:Nobody gave her that name, by the way.
Speaker B:She chose it.
Speaker D:I'm right.
Speaker D:I chose it.
Speaker D:And you could put that on record.
Speaker C:All right, that has been added into evidence.
Speaker D:I can change my username now.
Speaker A:Alrighty.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:In that case, I do have this cool magic carpet.
Speaker D:Can I simply mount the carpet and use it as a way to just move?
Speaker A:Of course.
Speaker D:All right, I'm going to surfboard style this magic carpet, and I'm just gonna stand on it and look dope as fuck, because I know after one round, it's gonna disappear.
Speaker D:And If I am in the air, I will fall, and I will not fall into that trap.
Speaker D:So plausibly, how far away are we from each other?
Speaker A:To start fair, we'll give you guys a good 60ft.
Speaker A:Got a pretty big basement.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:Just a lot of, like, space to be sticky.
Speaker A:When you think about it, it's actually really impressive.
Speaker E:We fill it wall to wall.
Speaker E:Nuts to butts here.
Speaker C:Oh.
Speaker B:Which was my concern.
Speaker B:So that does actually make me more concerned about the stickiness.
Speaker A:We're going to take away Dante's keys for his actual after hours activities.
Speaker E:So I'm good at breaking and entering.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker C:If that's what you want to call it there, bud.
Speaker D:So luckily, in this case, I am a rogue.
Speaker D:So I can use my movement of 30ft, and then I can use my bonus action to dash the remaining 30ft and close the distance.
Speaker E:Can you do a shot?
Speaker D:Why wouldn't I be able to,.
Speaker E:Judges?
Speaker A:I'll allow it.
Speaker C:I mean it.
Speaker C:You're the boss.
Speaker A:I agree.
Speaker D:Oh, wait, that just up what I wanted to do.
Speaker D:Oh, I already said it.
Speaker C:She dashes off the rug.
Speaker D:I went, oh, wait, I needed my bonus action.
Speaker D:That's fine.
Speaker D:In that case, I will.
Speaker D:I do that every damn time.
Speaker D:Okay, I will take a swing at him with my scimitar.
Speaker D:I'll just go, hey.
Speaker D:And swing.
Speaker A:All right, roll a hit.
Speaker D:It's a 16 to hit a 16.
Speaker B:Let's go.
Speaker B:Oh, wait.
Speaker B:Cutting words.
Speaker B:Gosh,.
Speaker D:You're like, oh, my God.
Speaker D:No,.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker B:So I just need to check what my.
Speaker B:If it's a D10.
Speaker B:No, bird, quickly.
Speaker B:I think it's either D8 or a D10.
Speaker B:That by cutting words and little 10.
Speaker B:Detained.
Speaker B:Perfect.
Speaker B:All right, I'm rolling a D10 real quick.
Speaker B:And it would be subtracted from whatever you roll to hit.
Speaker B:You went on eight, then you went to two.
Speaker B:Why would you do that?
Speaker B:Anyway, my Armor class is 14, so you still hit.
Speaker D:Oh, wow, what a shame for you.
Speaker D:And slashing and.
Speaker D:Hang on.
Speaker D:I always forget how this works.
Speaker D:Oh, okay, never mind.
Speaker D:I used my movement, so I can't do that.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:I guess I'm just stuck there because I totally messed up my action economy on what I wanted to do.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker A:So as you're zipping through the air, you swing down, and that's a nasty cut Andre's got on his chest now.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:And then my carpet abruptly stops because I ran out of movement and I miscalculated.
Speaker B:But hey, my cutting words is just like, not the face, but you weren't aiming for My face.
Speaker B:Anyway.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker D:You don't have 69 hit points anymore.
Speaker D:We gotta go back.
Speaker D:I gotta miss.
Speaker A:Wait.
Speaker B:How much damage did you do?
Speaker D:I did 10.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:Not that much.
Speaker B:Not that much as I'm bleeding.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I think that's the end of my turn.
Speaker D:I'm just kind of floating on my carpet.
Speaker B:Dante.
Speaker B:Do I know why I'm in this basement?
Speaker B:Is this sticky basement?
Speaker E:I offered you a beverage yesterday.
Speaker B:You accepted.
Speaker E:I don't know what to tell you, man.
Speaker B:Damn it.
Speaker B:Every time.
Speaker B:I don't know why I keep offering beverages.
Speaker B:It's just that they mix the margaritas so good.
Speaker A:Here, here For a good time.
Speaker A:Not a long time.
Speaker E:No, it's going to be a long time.
Speaker A:Oh.
Speaker A:Oh, heavens.
Speaker B:All right, well, I'm going to.
Speaker B:Oh, but then 63.
Speaker B:I'm pretty sure you can move that.
Speaker B:That won't help our budget.
Speaker C:Oh,.
Speaker B:Are you.
Speaker B:It's a sim tire you said you use.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker D:That's what I used last time.
Speaker D:But I do have two weapons in my hand.
Speaker B:I see you're only wearing studded leather, right?
Speaker B:There's no.
Speaker B:There's no.
Speaker E:Only wearing.
Speaker D:Nothing else.
Speaker B:And in your hand is a simtar.
Speaker B:On what?
Speaker D:A scimitar And a sort short.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker A:And a pair of shorts.
Speaker D:Yeah, sure.
Speaker D:No, a short sword.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:I'mma just do bonus action.
Speaker B:Heat.
Speaker B:Wait, no.
Speaker B:Heat metal.
Speaker B:Not bonus action, but I'm going just drop a heat metal.
Speaker B:And that's short sword.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because you've been.
Speaker B:I think you're holding on to too many things, and if you can just, like, let go.
Speaker B:I'm going around 2D8.
Speaker B:There's no.
Speaker B:There's no sale for this.
Speaker B:You just.
Speaker B:Okay, 2d8.
Speaker D:If you're gonna win my 69 hit points, that's on you.
Speaker D:Because honestly, I think that's the worst thing you could do in this situation.
Speaker D:But go ahead.
Speaker B:The thing with 69 is about mutual.
Speaker A:Jesus.
Speaker C:Mutual reassured destruction.
Speaker B:Why am I seeing healing Word like five times, but I'm not seeing my heat metal, which was the first one I put on here.
Speaker B:Oh, it's showing me something.
Speaker D:Work on me if you want.
Speaker D:That's okay.
Speaker D:I haven't taken any damage.
Speaker D:There's no point.
Speaker B:Friends.
Speaker B:Where is my.
Speaker B:Oh, damn.
Speaker B:I apparently just cast a spell that I don't see on my sheet.
Speaker B:All right, well, I do that.
Speaker B:I guess I use something else.
Speaker D:You see Anita Hardcock flinch and get ready for.
Speaker D:For the heat.
Speaker D:And it never comes.
Speaker B:This should be the first one I've put on.
Speaker B:I don't see it at all.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:All right, Healing.
Speaker D:One of my favorite ones to use very close alphabetically.
Speaker D:If you just press healing word twice or something, I don't know how it works.
Speaker B:All right, in that case, I'll just do this.
Speaker B:Or not.
Speaker B:Whispers, because at least it's on the sheet.
Speaker A:Whisper, whisper, whisper, whisper.
Speaker B:Why is it like.
Speaker B:Oh, there we go.
Speaker D:I just hear Joe going, little bitch.
Speaker B:Oh, sorry.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You roll against this or not?
Speaker B:Whispers.
Speaker B:Wisdom.
Speaker B:Save Wisdom to beat a 17.
Speaker D:17.
Speaker B:Yeah,.
Speaker D:No, that's not gonna say four damage, though.
Speaker B:Four damage.
Speaker B:But you have to get as far away from me as possible.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:And then I'm going to get away from you in the opposite direction.
Speaker D:Where the hell is my helmet?
Speaker D:Ah, you're running.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Why are you running?
Speaker D:I just.
Speaker A:Was it four damage, right?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Sounds so sad.
Speaker B:Yeah, because the thing I wanted to do is a dare for some reason, but it's okay.
Speaker D:I did the same thing where I, like, got really excited, and then I was like, I'm gonna do this.
Speaker D:Then I was like, oh, where is this?
Speaker D:Wait, it's okay.
Speaker D:It makes the chaos.
Speaker D:Makes it all the better.
Speaker D:All right, is it my turn then?
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:Oh, no.
Speaker D:Oh, right.
Speaker E:No movement.
Speaker B:Andre.
Speaker B:Oh, I move as far away as possible.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I'm assuming that's like 30ft, right?
Speaker B:Yeah, for.
Speaker D:Okay, just for range purposes.
Speaker B:So it should be up about 60ft away, because this and out with Buzz would force you to move away if you move.
Speaker D:That's not a problem.
Speaker D:Okay, You said I only get my carpet for one round, right?
Speaker A:Oh, like battle round.
Speaker A:Like, not turn.
Speaker A:Like the whole combat.
Speaker D:Oh, okay.
Speaker D:Okay, okay.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Never mind.
Speaker D:Okay, so I suppose I have to get as far away as I possibly can.
Speaker D:So I'll use 30ft of movement to get back.
Speaker D:Then I have to use my bonus action dash as well, correct?
Speaker D:Is that what you're implying?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Okay, so that means I'm what, like 90ft back now?
Speaker B:Wait, no, no, no, no, no.
Speaker B:I thought you were getting back closer to me or.
Speaker B:Uses your reaction to move away.
Speaker D:Oh, okay, so I just.
Speaker D:So I'm.
Speaker B:You move normally now.
Speaker D:Okay, so I do get closer.
Speaker D:Then I'm not gonna go.
Speaker D:Not going to go another 60ft back.
Speaker D:So I will.
Speaker D:Okay, I'm going to use my movement, which is 30ft.
Speaker D:I'm going to as close as I can, and then I shall.
Speaker D:That would make me 60ft away from you, so I will bonus action dash again.
Speaker D:And I'm not gonna lie, I apparently don't have many ranged options.
Speaker D:So instead I am going to ready an attack with my scimitar on the condition that you get within range.
Speaker B:Ah,.
Speaker D:That's my turn, I suppose.
Speaker D:Kind of boring, but smart on you.
Speaker B:All right, I'm just game.
Speaker B:I'mma just put up a or well, you go knock this out of me.
Speaker B:I feel like.
Speaker B:But I'mma put up aura of a vitality just in case.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:Healing energy radiates within a 30 foot radius.
Speaker B:The aura moves centered on me.
Speaker B:And then I can use a bonus action to cause one creature in the aura to regain 2D6 hit points.
Speaker B:Are you within 30ft of me?
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker D:I would be exactly 30ft away from you right now.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:You see, just healing energy radiates around you and just like envelop you in warmth.
Speaker B:And then it moves from you back to me and heals me for 8 HP.
Speaker B:Because that hurt a lot when you stopped me.
Speaker D:Oh.
Speaker D:Now I kind of feel bad.
Speaker D:But not that to do it again.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker B:That was my move.
Speaker B:And there's no space to move back.
Speaker B:Is there a cover I can just like move behind?
Speaker A:Nope.
Speaker A:This is all in the open.
Speaker B:Okay, fine.
Speaker B:I'll figure that out.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:I love how I read that ability wrong.
Speaker D:So I will go and close the distance.
Speaker B:Damn it.
Speaker A:You weren't counting on that, were you?
Speaker D:And I am going to first and foremost swing with my short sword.
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker D:See, I worked out all like the order of I have to do stuff before and I just forgot all of it.
Speaker D:So I'm gonna attack you to start with my short sword.
Speaker B:Gasp.
Speaker D:Not the gasp.
Speaker B:It's a 18.
Speaker D:It's a 26 to hit.
Speaker B:26.
Speaker B:That definitely.
Speaker B:Oh, bad please.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:And that'll be.
Speaker B:Hey, you did.
Speaker D:Oh no.
Speaker D:I rolled one.
Speaker B:I'm gonna just hellish rebuke you at the same time.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker D:How dare you.
Speaker D:Okay, that's a deck save, right?
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:And that is.
Speaker B:Oh, 11 damage.
Speaker B:You rolled out one.
Speaker D:I did.
Speaker D:But I also have uncanny dodge.
Speaker D:So I'm gonna take my reaction and half the damage, half that.
Speaker B:Okay, the is half of 11.
Speaker D:I think you round down so five, right?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker B:My hair is rebuilt.
Speaker B:Is like.
Speaker B:Damn it.
Speaker B:I heard.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:I the disperse are gone, but I just hear Joe again.
Speaker D:Go little.
Speaker D:I've never met her, but her little was run free in my mind.
Speaker B:All right, so I need to take off five damage.
Speaker B:And I also need to do a constitution saving.
Speaker D:Oh boy.
Speaker D:Wait, I have to or you have to?
Speaker D:Oh, you have to.
Speaker B:Vitality I only roll a five.
Speaker B:It's gone.
Speaker B:It's.
Speaker D:That's okay.
Speaker D:You healed a little bit.
Speaker D:It.
Speaker D:Surely it'll be.
Speaker B:It wasn't completely useless, surely.
Speaker D:Okay, well, that was my action, so I used my movement and action.
Speaker D:I'm going to use my bonus action to make an offhand attack, which I do get with advantage because I have weapon mastery of my short sword, which I wasn't aware was a thing, but according to 5e, apparently it is, so I'm not going to argue.
Speaker D:So this time, I am doing it with my simitar.
Speaker B:Real good.
Speaker B:Right?
Speaker B:That's a two.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Don't hit.
Speaker D:Oh, I get advantage.
Speaker B:Oh, yes.
Speaker D:18.
Speaker B:Yep, that hits.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Seven damage.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:And I think I used all my movement, actually, so I can't get back.
Speaker B:Well, I can help you get back, but another is an at whisper.
Speaker D:Wait, how does my sneak attack apply?
Speaker D:Because that should deal an extra 66, but I don't see how to use that.
Speaker D:So do I just roll another 66 because I got advantage on that.
Speaker A:Yeah, roll another 66.
Speaker B:What was the advantage?
Speaker D:I poked you with my shortsword.
Speaker D:And because of my weapon mastery, if I land a hit on you with that, I get advantage on my next attack.
Speaker B:Ah, okay, I see, I see, I see.
Speaker D:Yeah, if you hit a creature with a short sword and deal damage to it, you have advantage on your next attack.
Speaker D:Roll against that creature before the end of your next turn, so.
Speaker B:Oh, God damn.
Speaker D:Yeah, it's.
Speaker D:It's.
Speaker D:You know.
Speaker D:Oh, here it is.
Speaker D:So that's an extra 19 damage.
Speaker B:Jesus.
Speaker B:Okay, it has gotten serious 19.
Speaker D:But I can't move back, so I'm still in melee from you.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That's.
Speaker B:That's good to know.
Speaker B:For me, a spellcaster and a bard.
Speaker D:Hey, you started with 69 HP as a bard.
Speaker D:I think that's, like,.
Speaker B:Magic.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:I think I'm on 36.
Speaker B:Y' all can check my math.
Speaker B:That should be right.
Speaker B:All right, guys, things been getting serious, and honestly, at this point, I'm starting to panic a little bit.
Speaker B:I have death word.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:I won't survive my next turn if I own the death ward, though, so here we go.
Speaker B:Yeah, it's real tough choices.
Speaker B:I wish I had a turn to, like, take out my spine steed, but since that isn't an option.
Speaker B:God, I don't think I can survive the next turn for only.
Speaker B:Okay, here we go.
Speaker B:We're going big.
Speaker B:I was going Polymorph into a T. Rex, and.
Speaker D:That's awesome.
Speaker B:Honestly, how big is this place?
Speaker B:Will I break it?
Speaker A:No, I believe you'd fit.
Speaker B:Let's see if I do Polymorph.
Speaker A:We also have insurance on the top.
Speaker A:We have insurance.
Speaker A:You're fine.
Speaker B:I'm definitely gonna break concentration.
Speaker B:Oh, hold on.
Speaker B:Sorry, I'm doing this the other way around.
Speaker B:Okay, hold on.
Speaker D:It's so relatable.
Speaker B:I need to be a T. Rex.
Speaker B:Or do you need to be a mouse?
Speaker B:Give me, like, one.
Speaker D:I'm Julius Cheeser.
Speaker D:Now full circle.
Speaker B:If it's a Dex save, I'm not going to do it.
Speaker B:But that's what it's going to come down to, because I'm not giving a bar that.
Speaker B:Sorry, I'm not giving a rogue a Dex save.
Speaker D:I think it's a wisdom save, but you didn't hear it from me, because I would never help you like that.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:It is a wisdom save.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Put up T. Rex arms, and then I reconsider.
Speaker B:I'm like, okay, no, you'll be a mouse, and I just cast Polymorph on you.
Speaker B:Roll a wisdom save against a 17.
Speaker D:Oh, this will surely go in my favor.
Speaker B:As a nine.
Speaker B:And just in case.
Speaker B:Hold on.
Speaker B:Let me.
Speaker B:Let me just help you out a little bit.
Speaker B:I'm not just cutting words because minus three from whatever that is because I'm not getting stabbed again.
Speaker D:I'm not getting stabbed again.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker D:Okay, let me pull up what you say.
Speaker D:Mouse.
Speaker D:Yeah, me like, let me look up mouse stats real quick.
Speaker D:I think I've just been turned into a little, tiny mouse.
Speaker A:Yeah, that was not on what I was thinking was going to happen in this fight.
Speaker D:Nah, not me either.
Speaker B:I thought it would be a T. Rex, but here we are.
Speaker D:Okay, I found a rat.
Speaker D:Is that good enough?
Speaker A:That's fair.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker A:They're similar enough.
Speaker B:You can be all right.
Speaker B:You can be anything you want to be.
Speaker A:I was like, yeah, as long as the right or mouse.
Speaker A:Capybara.
Speaker B:All right, little rat is there.
Speaker B:That was my.
Speaker B:I have a bonus action.
Speaker B:Do I?
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, I can.
Speaker B:No, I can't.
Speaker B:Healing words.
Speaker B:So, okay, that's it for right now.
Speaker B:You are a rat.
Speaker B:It is your turn.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:If I'm rolling this, I can roll the save from this.
Speaker D:Polymorph correct.
Speaker B:Hold on.
Speaker B:Isn't that.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker E:Don't you roll, like, every turn to.
Speaker D:See if it stays.
Speaker B:Nope, nope.
Speaker B:This is just an aura.
Speaker B:Unless I get damage and drop concentration.
Speaker B:Or if you get to 0 hp.
Speaker A:Is it polymorph or is it true?
Speaker B:Polymorph no, just Polymorph.
Speaker B:Let me see.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:Transformation last for the duration.
Speaker D:Yeah, I think if I lose my hit points in the Polymorph form, I automatically go back, right?
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:In that case.
Speaker D:Okay, you.
Speaker D:Oh, you have your bonus action.
Speaker D:Sorry, can I just grab her?
Speaker A:Yeah, fuck it.
Speaker A:I'll give you the grab feed as a bonus action.
Speaker B:I'll roll for it.
Speaker B:But, like, I see this suicidal rat's eyes, and I'm like, how did you.
Speaker D:Know I was gonna do that?
Speaker B:I was going to do a dexterity roll and see what happens.
Speaker D:Oh, my.
Speaker D:How did you know I was gonna do that?
Speaker B:Like a trap in the.
Speaker B:That's a 11.
Speaker D:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:To grab you the way.
Speaker D:I can't believe you clocked that.
Speaker D:The way.
Speaker D:The first thing I was thinking was, well, if I jump off my flying carpet as a rat, then I'll take fall damage and I'll just revert back.
Speaker A:See, that's smart.
Speaker A:I would have tried.
Speaker A:That's smart.
Speaker A:I would have tried to find, like, a little rat gun,.
Speaker D:Some cheese, a little rat noose.
Speaker B:It's only 11.
Speaker B:Can roll higher than that.
Speaker B:Your dex is zero now, but it's probably just if it's just an 11.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Am I rolling against your save?
Speaker D:Is that what's happening?
Speaker B:Oh, let me leave it to the DM As.
Speaker E:Explain it one more time.
Speaker E:Describe it.
Speaker B:Oh, I was rolling to grab the rat.
Speaker A:Let's do strength versus dexterity.
Speaker B:Oh, I have a manus.
Speaker B:That's worse.
Speaker A:This is getting good.
Speaker D:18.
Speaker B:That's a three from me.
Speaker B:Oh, that was close, though.
Speaker A:Fight, rat, fight.
Speaker D:The crowd's, like, going wild right now in that tavern.
Speaker D:Yeah, rat.
Speaker E:Usually we have cockfights down here.
Speaker E:This is different.
Speaker B:Oh, dear God.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:It's not what you think.
Speaker D:They're chanting.
Speaker D:They're like, throw the rat.
Speaker D:Throw the rat.
Speaker B:That's my turn.
Speaker A:Spike the rat.
Speaker A:Spike the rat.
Speaker E:Actually.
Speaker B:Actually, yeah, I'm all right.
Speaker B:I'm gonna just crawl up on that carpet and make it straight up in the air.
Speaker B:Cause who gonna stop me?
Speaker A:All right, that's fair.
Speaker E:The carpet might.
Speaker B:Hold on.
Speaker A:Should we roll?
Speaker A:Should we roll to see if the carpet refuses?
Speaker A:I'm gonna roll and see if the carpet resists.
Speaker A:That's a one the carpet ain't doing.
Speaker A:Yeah, I mean, your carpet's got no loyalty to you.
Speaker B:Yeah, the red count is great.
Speaker B:The loyalty isn't.
Speaker D:Oh, shoot.
Speaker B:I'm gonna leave you there as a rat.
Speaker B:You.
Speaker B:I couldn't grab you in time, so you're.
Speaker B:Whatever you want to do, But I'm up here on this carpet.
Speaker D:Okay, great.
Speaker B:I'm going 30ft in the air.
Speaker D:I'm pretty certain the carpet kind of listens to what I have to say, but I'll.
Speaker D:You know, you can stay on my carpet if you want.
Speaker D:Right now, I'm a rat.
Speaker D:I got bigger cheeses to shred, so I'm gonna.
Speaker D:If it is my turn, I will proceed with my original plan.
Speaker D:And I am going to throw myself off the carpet in the most dramatic rat way possible with, like, my favorite legs in the air.
Speaker B:I love that for you.
Speaker B:I'm casting Featherfall.
Speaker A:He is prepared.
Speaker A:You gotta love a prepared bar.
Speaker A:So, like, as you jump, you just see the ground coming at you here, and then just.
Speaker A:You start floating down.
Speaker B:Surround you.
Speaker B:As you float gently to the ground,.
Speaker D:You hear a really disgruntled rat squeak.
Speaker D:Yeah, well, I'm seeing what I can do as a rat.
Speaker D:In that case, you know what?
Speaker D:My rad stats are letting me pull it up, so I have to look at it really tiny.
Speaker D:I am going to.
Speaker D:Okay, if I'm assuming that was my movement, because.
Speaker D:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker D:In that case, I'm just gonna bite myself.
Speaker D:It's a plus zero to hit, so I'm just gonna roll a D20, I guess.
Speaker D:How do you get to just a singular dice?
Speaker D:I hate this stuff.
Speaker D:I always get it confused with the other.
Speaker A:On your sheet, there should be a little dice.
Speaker A:The D20 at the corner.
Speaker A:You just click on that.
Speaker E:I almost want to say it's like, bottom left.
Speaker A:Yeah, I think it's bottom left.
Speaker D:I don't see any days.
Speaker D:It won't even let me come.
Speaker D:Okay, can I just roll my regular attack and not add the plus I have?
Speaker A:Yeah, that's fine.
Speaker B:You also should be able to just roll a D20.
Speaker B:Oh, it is on the bottom left.
Speaker D:Yeah, I rolled a 16 without the bonus.
Speaker D:So my armor class as a rat is 10.
Speaker B:God damn.
Speaker D:So I'm going to bite myself, and I take exactly one piercing damage, and my hit points are one.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker A:Okay,.
Speaker D:So in theory, that should end the Polymorph.
Speaker A:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker A:That will bring you back to you.
Speaker D:And you just see me kind of like doing the thing that, like, animals do where they're, like, biting their leg, but I'm biting my arm, and I'm like, yeah, bravo.
Speaker A:Bravo.
Speaker A:Wondrous play by Miss Hardcock.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Hardcock.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker A:Hardcock.
Speaker A:Hardcock.
Speaker C:Wait, what?
Speaker D:Yeah, damn.
Speaker D:Right part the rat.
Speaker D:In that case, for my bonus action, I am going to.
Speaker D:I could Kick you off my carpet.
Speaker D:But I think instead.
Speaker D:Are you gonna.
Speaker B:I'm trying to feed off.
Speaker D:Yeah, you're on the ground.
Speaker D:But the carpet, like, listens to me, I think.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's what you mean.
Speaker E:Did you ever attune to it?
Speaker A:I don't think the carpet has attunement.
Speaker A:No, the carpet doesn't have attunement.
Speaker A:It's only his hammer.
Speaker E:So I think whoever's on it is its master.
Speaker D:No, this is gonna be like king of the island when your kids pushing each other.
Speaker A:You know what it we're running on?
Speaker A:We're going on to that rule.
Speaker A:You king of the hill rules.
Speaker D:All right, you know.
Speaker D:Bet, bet.
Speaker D:In that case, as my bonus action, I am going to.
Speaker D:I guess it doesn't really matter if I can't find a place to hide.
Speaker D:Okay, as my bonus action, I'm gonna be a jerk and I'm gonna see if I can find another rat on the sticky ass floor.
Speaker D:And I'm going to hold it up.
Speaker B:Go.
Speaker D:Yeah, that's gonna be my bonus action.
Speaker E:Roll for rat.
Speaker A:I was gonna say roll investigation.
Speaker A:BS roll for rat.
Speaker D:I can roll investigation.
Speaker E:Let's say DC10.
Speaker A:It would probably be lower.
Speaker A:I don't feel like our tavern's very clean.
Speaker D:All right, I'm just gonna hold it up triumphantly.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker E:There's just stuck in the sticky floor like glue traps, you know.
Speaker A:Oh, gross, gross, gross, gross.
Speaker D:Between my hand and like my short sword.
Speaker D:And it just looks like I'm trying to position it so it looks like the rat's holding the sword.
Speaker A:All right, that's pretty sick.
Speaker A:That's a style point.
Speaker A:Rat with the sword.
Speaker E:Are you gonna use the rat as a projectile weapon?
Speaker E:Because,.
Speaker A:You know, there's the one drunk guy in the corner going, punto rat.
Speaker D:All right, I guess that's my turn.
Speaker A:That was a random answer.
Speaker E:I like it.
Speaker D:I literally just beat yourself as I rise.
Speaker D:I tried to commit rat self death and then radicide.
Speaker D:Oh, wait, we're not on YouTube.
Speaker D:I can't get demonetized, but whatever.
Speaker D:And then I.
Speaker B:It's called pesticide.
Speaker E:Does a rat count as an improvised weapon for Tavern Brawler?
Speaker A:I'll allow it.
Speaker A:Some rat Chucks.
Speaker E:Ratchets.
Speaker D:I guess that's my turn.
Speaker D:I came in with such, like, a, like, plan and it was so efficient and wonderful and it's just not.
Speaker D:Not once have I used it.
Speaker B:Lilith.
Speaker B:The best.
Speaker B:Sorry, let me take another go at that.
Speaker B:The best laid plans of mice and men.
Speaker B:I'm a cast eldritch Blast.
Speaker D:Oh, that was.
Speaker D:What was the role you rolled for damage instead of to hit.
Speaker B:I just say that because you probably.
Speaker D:Roll better if you rolled a hit.
Speaker B:I see.
Speaker B:All right, I'm gonna roll the hit.
Speaker B:Okay, that's just the four.
Speaker B:Oh, 13.
Speaker D:That does not hit.
Speaker B:All right, let me try again.
Speaker B:25.
Speaker D:Yeah, that'll hit.
Speaker B:Five plus five damage.
Speaker B:That's 10.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:I have so many of these blasts, by the way.
Speaker D:No big deal.
Speaker B:I'm supposed to have, I think, five of them at this level.
Speaker B:Hold on.
Speaker B:Four or five at 12 level 12 Eldritch Blast.
Speaker B:It's four, I think.
Speaker B:All right, well, that's coming up.
Speaker B:I'mma roll one.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:28.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Three beams at 11th level.
Speaker B:Okay, so just three beams.
Speaker B:Okay, that's not bad.
Speaker D:Yeah, you still got two.
Speaker D:I say that as if it's like, yeah, good job.
Speaker B:I already rolled three, so I. I just have more damage roll since that was at 28.
Speaker B:And so 10 damage and then 8 damage, 18 damage.
Speaker B:I'm a bonus action healing word.
Speaker B:At first level, that's only 7, but that goes.
Speaker B:That goes a long way.
Speaker B:All right, that's my turn.
Speaker E:That's a couple rats worth of hp.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I'm going to move the magic carpet right over.
Speaker B:Well, yeah, right over your head.
Speaker B:So you have to move to see me.
Speaker D:Yeah, I'm like, ah.
Speaker D:All right, so just to be clear, you said you were about 30ft up?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Okay, so I'm gonna use my bonus action, and as a Shadar Kai, I can actually teleport.
Speaker B:Dear God, of course you can teleport.
Speaker D:I can teleport up to 30ft.
Speaker D:So I can teleport exactly up the carpet.
Speaker B:Do you need to see me, though, rc?
Speaker D:I can see where the carpet is.
Speaker D:I'm just going up 30ft.
Speaker B:Bye.
Speaker D:And all it says is you can teleport up to 30ft to an unoccupied space.
Speaker D:Oh, you can see.
Speaker B:Well, I'm learning a lot about you, because if I knew you could have.
Speaker E:Done that,.
Speaker D:I guess you do have to see it.
Speaker D:So I will take a step back and then use my bonus action to teleport.
Speaker D:So now we are having an aerial battle at top of magic carpet.
Speaker B:I scream when I see.
Speaker D:Okay, so.
Speaker D:And go ahead.
Speaker B:When you get on the top of the magic carpet, I say, like, listen, I can.
Speaker B:Please don't hurt me.
Speaker B:I can show you the world.
Speaker D:Oh, dear Lord, I.
Speaker D:You see me taking your words, and I have my weapons raised.
Speaker D:You see me go, and I'm gonna go For a little swipe.
Speaker D:Short sword.
Speaker D:That's a 24 to hit.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker B:Yeah, go ahead with that damage.
Speaker D:I did use my bonus action though, so I can't give myself advantage.
Speaker D:Instead, sneak attack for the next thing.
Speaker D:But damage is damage, even if I did roll a one.
Speaker D:So yeah, I'm gonna do that and.
Speaker D:God, I can't really.
Speaker D:Considering we're on a magic carpet, I can't really dash, disengage, or hide because there's definitely not enough room to do any of those.
Speaker D:It doesn't get me off the carpet.
Speaker B:Just a face to face and worrying and.
Speaker D:You know what?
Speaker D:Definitely not.
Speaker D:My strong suit is strength.
Speaker D:But I think I have to stay on here and get my carpet back because I will be damned if I walk out of here without that damn magic carpet.
Speaker B:Which will disappear at some point.
Speaker D:Yeah, I know we're both gonna fall 30ft.
Speaker A:Let's not fall.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker B:Who does it listen to if we're both on it?
Speaker B:Let's find out.
Speaker B:I attempt to move it 30ft higher.
Speaker D:No, it's not even your turn yet.
Speaker B:Oh, sorry.
Speaker B:I thought it was my bad.
Speaker D:Oh, wait, no, you're so right.
Speaker D:I can't do a bonus action.
Speaker D:It is your turn because I was going to say.
Speaker B:Where are you moving to?
Speaker D:Stand on my ground.
Speaker B:Can I try to move the carpet up 30ft?
Speaker A:Hold on.
Speaker A:You want to move the carpet up 30ft?
Speaker E:They're both on the carpet, so I'm wondering if we should have them like roll off just a dry D20 to see who has mental control of the carpet.
Speaker A:Okay, yeah, do that.
Speaker A:Just a dry D20.
Speaker A:See who gets control.
Speaker B:I look at my Plus 13 persuasion and I'm like, oh, yeah, sure.
Speaker B:I dry D20.
Speaker B:That's fine.
Speaker E:If you are wanting to attempt this, it is gonna.
Speaker E:This is gonna take your bonus action whether you succeed or fail.
Speaker B:Oh, okay.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Is that 19?
Speaker B:Anyway,.
Speaker D:I suppose I still can't find where the damn dice is.
Speaker D:And my screen is like, not letting me bottom left.
Speaker D:I don't.
Speaker D:There is nothing in my bottom left.
Speaker D:But I'm also on a vertical for my character sheet and it's not letting me alter it.
Speaker D:So I guess I will just roll and take away the bonus because it's not even letting me pull up like the game log to see what everyone's rolling.
Speaker D:Anyway, I got a 10.
Speaker A:He has control of the carpet.
Speaker A:I'm cat feed.
Speaker B:I do wish I'd ever used my bonus action just though cause things.
Speaker B:But hey, you know what?
Speaker B:You're right.
Speaker B:Here.
Speaker B:Should I debuff you or just straight up try attacking?
Speaker B:Because you're gonna attack me, and I'm going to lose concentration anyway, so screw it.
Speaker B:Eldritch class.
Speaker B:Eldritch Blast.
Speaker D:Like the siren song of Eldritch Bl.
Speaker B:There is a feature that I have where I can try to, like, charm you that I was just looking at, but I'm not seeing.
Speaker B:Oh, yeah, here we go.
Speaker B:Pack, magic pay presents, Wisom savings.
Speaker B:Charmed until the end of my next turn.
Speaker B:My next turn.
Speaker B:Okay, that would give me one turn.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker E:All right.
Speaker B:Yeah, I'm doing that.
Speaker B:So roll me a wisdom saving throw against a 17, please.
Speaker B:As you see, all fey spirits appear around me as I'm like, hey, hey.
Speaker B:Remember when I told you I could show you the world?
Speaker B:It was the fey world.
Speaker D:This is against being Charmed, correct?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Okay, I get advantage then.
Speaker B:So within 10ft of me, a creature makes a wisdom saving throw.
Speaker D:Oh, that.
Speaker D:Hang on.
Speaker D:I wrote charisma, so it would just be minus 2.
Speaker D:So it'd be 10 because my.
Speaker D:Or.
Speaker D:Yeah, because.
Speaker D:Yeah, sorry, the modifier was just wrong.
Speaker D:It would be 10.
Speaker B:I look at you, and I was going to cutting, but then I realized that before I even finished the sentence, you kind of look dazed already.
Speaker B:And I'm like, okay, all right, let's play her some says.
Speaker B:Her some says, drop both your weapons down there.
Speaker E:Oh,.
Speaker D:I'll drop them.
Speaker B:So walk away from me and drop your weapons down there.
Speaker D:Drop the helmet away from you, but I'll drop my weapons.
Speaker B:That is weird.
Speaker B:So on your turn, I guess, is when you would do it.
Speaker B:Yeah, on your turn, just walk away from me and drop your weapons down there.
Speaker A:I mean, you guys are on a small carpet.
Speaker A:I don't think she's gonna walk away.
Speaker A:I think she just drops it.
Speaker B:By the way, like, I. I don't.
Speaker B:Yeah, so you're charmed.
Speaker B:You.
Speaker B:And that's my turn.
Speaker B:So anyway, you want to interpret those two things, but it does last until the end of my next turn.
Speaker E:Does the Shadar Kai have any resistance to being charmed or.
Speaker D:I had advantage against the.
Speaker D:The charm itself, the save.
Speaker D:But I rolled below a 10 for both my rolls, so it didn't really matter.
Speaker B:And my DC be all the way up at 17.
Speaker D:Yeah, I just rolled really poorly, So I felt.
Speaker D:But, yes, I did.
Speaker D:To answer your question, you're correct.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:If it's my turn, I am.
Speaker D:I.
Speaker D:You just see me kind of cock my head and you see me kind of look at the space that is barely anything behind Me to walk away, and you just see me, like, scoot back, like, a little bit, and I still have very confused look.
Speaker D:But I.
Speaker D:You said drop my weapons down, right?
Speaker B:Yes, both weapons.
Speaker B:I should have said odd, but drop both weapons.
Speaker B:Don't.
Speaker D:All right, I drop both weapons, and the rat also goes flying because I had the rat attached to my short sword.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker E:Come on.
Speaker B:I would, if y' all would allow me to keep the spells.
Speaker B:I was like, you know, what is a one shot anyway?
Speaker B:Sure, whatever.
Speaker D:You're like, ah,.
Speaker B:Feather father, right?
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker E:Unfortunately, the scimitar falls on top of the rat.
Speaker B:Actually, no.
Speaker B:I don't know what she's up to after this.
Speaker B:I'm keeping my reaction.
Speaker A:You just see a little rat splatter, and then the crowd goes.
Speaker B:Never mind.
Speaker B:Commit.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:My reaction is gone.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Is.
Speaker B:Is that your turn, or should I go?
Speaker D:I'm assuming that's all I can really do, because that would have been my action, right?
Speaker B:Charmed.
Speaker B:So unless you want to shoot this,.
Speaker D:I'm just gonna go.
Speaker D:Okay, fine.
Speaker D:I'm just gonna go.
Speaker D:Remember when we both had 69 hit points?
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:That wasn't actually cool.
Speaker E:You say that and the entire crowd just yells noise.
Speaker A:Just a sea of high fives.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:And I go.
Speaker D:Remember when I was a rat?
Speaker D:It was kind of cool.
Speaker B:Second question to my friends in the back.
Speaker B:This is to the dms.
Speaker B:How far down are we in this.
Speaker A:Basement from, like, the actual, like, tavern?
Speaker A:Yeah, I sent me, like, 120, 200ft.
Speaker B:Oh, okay.
Speaker A:Pretty big basement.
Speaker B:Hey, friend, while I have you here, would you like to get out of this death dungeon?
Speaker B:Yeah, you'll have to fight for the death.
Speaker B:I did say I was gonna show you the world.
Speaker B:And I shake my hand and I cast dimension door and pop both of us, like, 500ft in the air.
Speaker B:That's my turn.
Speaker E:500Ft in the air.
Speaker D:That's so funny.
Speaker D:I'm not even mad.
Speaker D:God damn.
Speaker E:Okay, so you're now hovering above the tavern's roof.
Speaker B:I didn't say hovering.
Speaker B:It's her turn.
Speaker B:And we're falling.
Speaker A:Oh, they're free falling.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:So it's her turn.
Speaker B:We're falling.
Speaker B:It's up to her what she wanted to do.
Speaker D:All right, so the carpet, I'm assuming, isn't listening to me anymore.
Speaker E:Hold on.
Speaker B:I don't want to stop the carpet.
Speaker A:You know, you guys are.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker A:From what I'm interpreting is we said he dimensioned door 500ft above.
Speaker A:You guys are free falling.
Speaker A:You have to be within 30ft of the carpet.
Speaker A:You guys left the carpet like 400ft down.
Speaker D:Hey.
Speaker B:So we only have a short time.
Speaker B:I can feather follow us outside this.
Speaker B:But you.
Speaker B:Oh, it was my turn.
Speaker B:I do get back my reaction.
Speaker B:Perfect again.
Speaker B:Fellow, follow us out of this.
Speaker B:But we have to choose.
Speaker B:We can just like run away.
Speaker B:We don't have to fight to the death.
Speaker B:They don't own us.
Speaker B:We don't owe them money.
Speaker A:I beg to differ.
Speaker B:So like, if you want to go into hiding, I have masks on, many faces.
Speaker B:We can just like run out of here.
Speaker B:Or you can splat on the ground and I can just fell off by myself real quick.
Speaker B:It's approaching.
Speaker E:We do have trained marksmen at every corner of the tavern.
Speaker A:Dante, they're trying some silly business here.
Speaker A:I want to see somebody die.
Speaker A:You wanted to spell magic on them real quick.
Speaker E:Oh, magic has been dispelled.
Speaker E:Poof.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker A:So you guys are free.
Speaker E:Okay.
Speaker B:Actually no.
Speaker B:If you want blood and I can't escape blood, then say no.
Speaker A:Hunger Games.
Speaker A:We're not ending in a tie.
Speaker A:It's not a feel good story.
Speaker E:You know what?
Speaker E:It could be a time.
Speaker E:But if this is the path you taking, just know we have counterspell at the ready for your feather falling.
Speaker D:Then you both die.
Speaker D:There is no winner.
Speaker C:It isn't called Chat1 and done for no reason.
Speaker D:In.
Speaker D:In response to your proposition, I.
Speaker D:You just see that I look up at the sky and I go, mom, this one's for you.
Speaker D:And I'm going to strategically wait until I am kind of close to the ground.
Speaker D:And I'm going to use my bonus action to teleport me 30ft to the ground where I safely will land.
Speaker E:Oh, nicely done.
Speaker B:I just feather found myself because I would die if I don't do that.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:So that's my bonus action.
Speaker D:For my action.
Speaker D:I am quite literally just going to wait for you.
Speaker D:For you to fall within melee.
Speaker B:What I will say is I think how fall works is before you get like to finish your turn, you take fall damage or.
Speaker B:Well, how fast do you fall?
Speaker B:Is what it made.
Speaker D:Well, I don't hit the ground so I don't think I would Never mind because I'm not hitting the ground.
Speaker D:I'm teleporting myself so that I don't.
Speaker D:At least in my mind it worked.
Speaker D:But I guess I'm biased because I don't want to die.
Speaker B:So you're not cool.
Speaker B:Sure, sure.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Sure, sure.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Hold on.
Speaker A:So feather fall.
Speaker A:You fall 60ft per round.
Speaker A:So the spell Ends before you land safely, you're gonna take the damage for it.
Speaker A:So you went 500ft up in the air.
Speaker A:I don't think you're gonna make it down before feather fall wears off.
Speaker B:500Ft per round.
Speaker B:So it would take me one round to hit the ground.
Speaker D:I will say, to be fair, it would take me more than one round to get within the range that I wanted to teleport.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:So I think canceling out the different rounds, we would both about the same time.
Speaker A:Okay, so you guys both land about the same time.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Just to be fair, because I don't think it would be fair for me to wait it out and teleport and then him to fall because of timing stuff.
Speaker E:In the spirit of failness, you guys both fail.
Speaker E:And splat.
Speaker A:The rat wins.
Speaker D:Julius again.
Speaker A:All right, so you guys land.
Speaker C:Julia's cheeser just got eaten by an alligator.
Speaker B:No, no.
Speaker B:In the tavern, you see the rat climb up onto the top of the carpet.
Speaker D:Okay, so depending on how timing is going to work, I'm either going to use my turn and get you when you come down, or I'm going to ready an action for you to land on your turn and me to slash at you.
Speaker E:So you're still unarmed though, aren't you?
Speaker D:I do have an extra short sword, and because of my two weapon.
Speaker D:Oh, wait, no, it would take a turn for me to grab that because I.
Speaker B:Wait, you had swords in your pockets?
Speaker B:Damn, I should have told you to empty swords.
Speaker B:I have.
Speaker D:I had one short sword.
Speaker D:I don't have my scimitar, so I don't have my two weapon fighting, but I have a short sword and a dagger, so I think I can grab one right now.
Speaker B:My command should have been empty your pockets.
Speaker B:Dab.
Speaker D:Oh, wait, no, I just have a short sword.
Speaker D:Yeah, I just have a short sword.
Speaker D:So I lost my two weapon fighting, which is huge.
Speaker D:But I was like.
Speaker A:By the way, she said she was wearing nothing but just the armor.
Speaker A:I don't think she has pockets.
Speaker D:Like, where were you keeping that short sword?
Speaker E:The prison pocket of Holden comes back, baby.
Speaker D:Oh, God, I need a hardcock.
Speaker D:What can I say?
Speaker A:Jesus, I.
Speaker D:You know what?
Speaker E:You are the seasoned DM among us three rabble for action economy sake.
Speaker E:Is this something she can pull off?
Speaker A:Wait, Grabbing the weapon or pulling the weapon out of her ass?
Speaker A:Either way, we need clarification here.
Speaker B:So,.
Speaker C:I mean, if.
Speaker C:If you want to make it more interesting, then I would say, have you used a bonus action yet?
Speaker D:I've used my bonus action to teleport I haven't used my action yet.
Speaker C:Then, yeah, you could definitely pull it out, but I don't know if you'd be able to attack.
Speaker D:That's fair.
Speaker D:I will.
Speaker D:I'll have my short sword out then.
Speaker D:And I guess.
Speaker D:I guess I'm just gonna use my other hand to punch something I like kill.
Speaker D:The intimidation is a grab my sword.
Speaker D:Yeah, I guess that's my turn.
Speaker C:Intimidation check.
Speaker D:I'm not complaining.
Speaker C:Let's do intimidation versus what?
Speaker C:A intelligence or wisdom save or.
Speaker C:Sorry.
Speaker C:Intelligence or con Save.
Speaker E:I like cod.
Speaker A:Con.
Speaker A:Okay, let's roll the gun.
Speaker C:All right, so, Andre, you'd be rolling con.
Speaker C:Lilith, you'd be rolling intimidation.
Speaker E:Let's see if when you.
Speaker E:When you land, you're scared or not.
Speaker D:I literally cannot roll.
Speaker D:Oh, my God, we both rolled bad.
Speaker B:Oh, that's six fucking down.
Speaker D:Yeah, I got 10.
Speaker B:Oh, I am intimidated.
Speaker B:I know.
Speaker D:We had such a lovely chat before, too.
Speaker D:Now, right, now it's come to this.
Speaker B:Now it has.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I suppose that's my turn.
Speaker D:I mean, I pulled out my weapon, so I can't attack, but I'll take it.
Speaker E:Died.
Speaker E:That poor rat.
Speaker D:I know.
Speaker B:He's gonna die again.
Speaker A:We're gonna commission a mural and put him above our mantle in the tavern.
Speaker B:How close are you to me?
Speaker D:How fast are you falling?
Speaker B:Oh, I think I would just.
Speaker B:Because I can't feather fall at any time.
Speaker B:So I just wait until I'm, like, close to the ground.
Speaker A:Let's just say for the sake of this.
Speaker A:You guys landed around the same time.
Speaker D:Okay, so we'd be probably close to each other because we were both falling from your dimension door.
Speaker A:Yeah, you gotta try to pull that friendship bullshit.
Speaker A:We don't do that here.
Speaker D:I should have known.
Speaker B:If you're about 10ft away from me, call it that.
Speaker E:I think that's.
Speaker E:That's fair.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:You're about to be further, I think, one more time.
Speaker D:That's a wisdom save.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:First level.
Speaker D:Did you see that?
Speaker D:It bounced off the 20.
Speaker D:It hit the corner of my screen and bounced off the 20 into the two.
Speaker D:Oh, no.
Speaker B:That's 13 damage.
Speaker B:And get away from me, O.
Speaker D:That's rude.
Speaker B:Full movement and my full movement to get away from you.
Speaker D:You wait.
Speaker D:I have Eldridge Blast.
Speaker D:I don't need to be near you at all.
Speaker B:I don't want to be near you.
Speaker B:You keep stabbing.
Speaker B:And I didn't tell you to drop all your weapons, which was my bad.
Speaker D:What exactly did you ask me?
Speaker D:All right, that's fine.
Speaker B:How are you looking?
Speaker D:I'M I'm not looking great, but I'm not.
Speaker D:I'm not, like, bad.
Speaker A:Real quick, show me your guys's hp.
Speaker B:Real quick.
Speaker D:Like, current.
Speaker B:Yeah, I didn't get.
Speaker D:Yeah, you totally just.
Speaker D:Oh, there we go.
Speaker D:I think I'm definitely lower.
Speaker B:Oh, damn.
Speaker B:I've just been shooting off damage.
Speaker B:For real?
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Because the Eldritch Blast says 18.
Speaker B:That was just 13.
Speaker B:I know I haven't been healing you.
Speaker D:Well, that'd be a little counterproductive.
Speaker B:Hell is.
Speaker B:Your book was five, and then this and that with puzzles four.
Speaker B:I think that's all the times that damage, too.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I'm not, like, on death store, but I'm definitely not looking good.
Speaker B:Bring back the rat.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Are we good?
Speaker B:Oh, that is my turn.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:So it would have been 40 damage overall that I did to you.
Speaker B:You did one to yourself as a rat.
Speaker D:Yeah, that checks.
Speaker D:Actually, I think.
Speaker D:I think you did 42 damage to me.
Speaker D:Wait, no, I can't math the two.
Speaker B:Might have been you biting yourself as a rat.
Speaker D:All right, well, it should.
Speaker D:It checks, I think.
Speaker D:I think the math.
Speaker D:Maths.
Speaker D:Okay, I'm like.
Speaker D:I have to remember I'm 69.
Speaker D:I was like, what?
Speaker D:LOL.
Speaker D:Okay, if it's my turn, you.
Speaker D:So I moved 30ft from you.
Speaker D:You move 30ft from me.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker D:So we're 60ft total.
Speaker D:That.
Speaker D:That's how you math, right?
Speaker B:If that's.
Speaker B:If we're assuming we felt like right beside each other.
Speaker D:Yeah, that's what I figured.
Speaker D:Because he had to touch me to dimension door me.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:In that case, I will move 30ft.
Speaker D:I will bonus action dash.
Speaker D:Close the distance, and I'll take another stab at it.
Speaker B:Damn it.
Speaker B:I love how it's around.
Speaker D:Oh, hang on.
Speaker D:That's damage.
Speaker B:God damn.
Speaker B:That's it.
Speaker D:I'll reroll the damage if you want.
Speaker B:No, no.
Speaker D:Oh, no, you can.
Speaker B:Oh, that's what I mean.
Speaker B:Oh, I thought it meant.
Speaker B:Just like I thought you meant re roll the.
Speaker B:The attack.
Speaker D:No, no, no, no, no.
Speaker D:I rolled damage at first instead of attack.
Speaker D:And I'm like, I can re roll that if you want, but I also rolled a 2, so if you want to keep that, I wouldn't blame you either.
Speaker B:I'll keep the two.
Speaker B:I don't.
Speaker D:Know.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:31.
Speaker B:You're right beside me again.
Speaker B:Oh, God.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:They won't allow me to just escape, which is like my mo.
Speaker B:So fine.
Speaker B:And you don't like being a rat because that would have been a nice little bow on this,.
Speaker D:Like, being A rat.
Speaker A:Well, now you're stuck as one.
Speaker E:Retricia Hardcock.
Speaker B:I could just keep playing the hits just displ.
Speaker B:And you only have a shard sword, right?
Speaker D:Ow.
Speaker D:Yes.
Speaker B:Oh, Do I do it?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:I'm gonna stick with what works.
Speaker B:I had, like, other things that I considered, but let me just stick with what works.
Speaker D:Literally, me.
Speaker D:I'm like, well, nah, I'm just gonna stab.
Speaker B:Yeah, I will keep this.
Speaker B:Enough whispering.
Speaker B:This one.
Speaker B:Second level, because my God, man.
Speaker B:Wisdom save again.
Speaker D:Okay,.
Speaker B:Yeah, Them wisdom save aren't your friend.
Speaker D:No.
Speaker B:That's only eight damage, though.
Speaker D:Actually, I don't think I've rolled above a 10 on a Wisdom save so far.
Speaker B:All right, that's eight damage to you as you run away again.
Speaker B:And I run away again.
Speaker D:Cool.
Speaker D:Actually, I don't think I took the eight damage from last time, so let me do that retroactively.
Speaker D:I think I just ran.
Speaker D:Okay, we're good.
Speaker B:Now it's your turn.
Speaker B:I whistle with.
Speaker B:With my bonus action, I whistle for the magic carpet.
Speaker B:Maybe it can hear me.
Speaker B:Maybe it can find me.
Speaker D:The magic carpet's just like, I have no master.
Speaker D:And it's like chilling with the rat.
Speaker A:When you guys jumped, you were 60ft in the air.
Speaker A:You guys jumped.
Speaker A:I think it's 30ft.
Speaker A:You guys have to be within.
Speaker A:That's just a free range carpet.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:Living his best life.
Speaker D:All right, well, it is what it is.
Speaker D:Okay, well, shit.
Speaker D:I'm just going to do what I did last time.
Speaker D:Really funny, because my build is definitely to, like, get in and then retreat, and I just have not.
Speaker A:That's the funniest thing, though, is you guys probably build characters like, oh, they're going to have us do, like, silly little adventures, like little retreat things.
Speaker A:Like last.
Speaker A:Nope.
Speaker A:You guys are fine to the death.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I took a lot of skills that were, like, good.
Speaker D:Like, my perception and investigation are through the freaking roof.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker D:So is my acrobatics because I'm like, there's going to be traps and just the friends we made along the way, apparently.
Speaker D:So.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker A:Anyway, the only trap here was friendship.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Anyway, I'm going to stab you.
Speaker A:No transition.
Speaker A:Anyways, I'm gonna stab you.
Speaker D:That's a 24 to hit.
Speaker B:That's a 24 TV.
Speaker B:Damn.
Speaker B:Go ahead.
Speaker E:So anyways, I started blasting.
Speaker D:That's six damage.
Speaker B:So here's what I'm going to charm.
Speaker B:Sorry, what?
Speaker B:Cutting words.
Speaker B:That.
Speaker B:Because I don't.
Speaker B:I don't like that.
Speaker B:That's only a tool.
Speaker B:I'm taking four damage anyway.
Speaker B:All right, I'm at four total on 31 minus 4.
Speaker B:27.
Speaker B:God damn.
Speaker D:We're actually pretty close, honestly.
Speaker A:Yeah, I'm trying to keep score on the whiteboard, but I forgot that I can't focus.
Speaker A:I get distracted very easily.
Speaker C:You know, you could have just done anything.
Speaker B:The only way.
Speaker D:Can you look in D and D beyond?
Speaker D:I can just tell you.
Speaker C:I mean, yeah, we have access to look at the character sheets in beyond.
Speaker D:Oh, right.
Speaker A:Forgot about that.
Speaker D:I love how I built a rogue.
Speaker D:And I've only been able to sneak attack one time, but that one time was glorious.
Speaker D:It was.
Speaker D:I would be screwed unless I sneak attack that one time.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Cool.
Speaker E:Cool.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So my calculations were correct.
Speaker A:I am good at mathing.
Speaker E:My calculations were correct.
Speaker D:Actually, I suppose that's my turn because that was my action and bonus action.
Speaker D:So I'm within five feet of you again.
Speaker B:My God.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker C:Ah.
Speaker B:All right, here we go.
Speaker B:Let's see.
Speaker B:Because if I leave you to your own devices, you're gonna start stab me with two, and that's the worst.
Speaker B:I'm being stabbed with one thing.
Speaker B:So go play the hits.
Speaker B:This is that whisper coming your way again.
Speaker B:Because each time you waste a bonus actually getting to it, it at least saves me as being stabbed.
Speaker D:I mean, fair.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:This.
Speaker B:This is the logic.
Speaker B:Now, first level spells that here.
Speaker B:We encourage.
Speaker B:It has to be second because I brought.
Speaker D:Hang on.
Speaker D:I didn't get any of that because you're cutting in and out.
Speaker B:Oh, are you hearing me now?
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker B:All right, this one whispers second level.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:I love how you're rolling damage ahead of time to intimidate me.
Speaker D:I know this trip.
Speaker B:It'll be half damaged.
Speaker D:I do it all the time.
Speaker D:I know that.
Speaker D:Quick.
Speaker D:It's a nine.
Speaker D:I told you I can't roll above a ten on what you say.
Speaker B:Wow.
Speaker B:I've been looking at you like, damn.
Speaker B:The fact that you keep running back at me ain't the wisest.
Speaker B:And this makes sense.
Speaker B:I just keep running towards the town each time and hoping that we'll get away from these people.
Speaker B:How much damage was that?
Speaker B:Sorry.
Speaker B:Let me see.
Speaker D:I don't remember.
Speaker A:Was it a 12?
Speaker E:12.
Speaker D:12.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Really hurdy?
Speaker E:A hurdy.
Speaker E:Wordy.
Speaker A:So I. I think it's safe to say both you guys are bloodied.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:Well, definitely past that at this point, but yes.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:Is that it?
Speaker B:That is it.
Speaker B:That's my turn.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker D:So I'm going to do this.
Speaker D:The safe thing this time, and I am going to use second Wind as my bonus action.
Speaker D:Yeah, I took a dip in Fighter, so that's eight I get back, which is good.
Speaker D:That was like one dissonant whispers.
Speaker D:It's weird how it denotes that I just used that, but.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:Oh, I see.
Speaker D:Oh, okay.
Speaker D:I keep track of it there.
Speaker D:I'm like, why didn't it say I just used my second wind?
Speaker D:And I totally had to click a button to denote I did that.
Speaker D:Okay, well, I don't want to be that guy, but technically, you never said you moved away from me.
Speaker B:I did.
Speaker B:I said keep moving towards the cloud.
Speaker D:Fine, in that case.
Speaker D:Fine.
Speaker D:In that case, I will.
Speaker D:I'll take a dodge action.
Speaker B:Oh, remind me.
Speaker B:The dodge gives you advantage on what?
Speaker B:What throws.
Speaker D:It gives me advantage on anything.
Speaker D:Oh, hang on.
Speaker D:How does this.
Speaker D:I don't know why I'm blanking on how dodge works.
Speaker D:Hang on.
Speaker B:Focus on me.
Speaker D:Like, I can tell you descriptions of spells.
Speaker D:I cannot tell you disadvantage.
Speaker D:Right.
Speaker B:I. I tried to click on it, but then it just brought me to a page.
Speaker D:If I can see the attacker and I have advantage on deck saving throws.
Speaker B:Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Speaker B:Next.
Speaker B:Specifically decks.
Speaker B:I see.
Speaker D:Destiny whisper.
Speaker B:It would be my turn then.
Speaker B:You are 60ft away, dodging.
Speaker D:I. I would have moved 30.
Speaker D:Did I not say that?
Speaker B:Okay, no.
Speaker D:If I didn't say, I didn't say it, but.
Speaker B:Oh, okay, so 30ft away.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker D:I would have used my movement to get closer, but I would make sense.
Speaker B:That do make sense.
Speaker B:Do I just keep listening that whisper dream.
Speaker B:How you looking?
Speaker D:Oh, God.
Speaker A:All right.
Speaker B:Okay, Okay.
Speaker B:I don't want to just beat an old drum, to be honest, but if that old drum have.
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:Beat an old drum.
Speaker A:Old reliable, you mean?
Speaker B:Yeah, yeah,.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker B:Actually.
Speaker D:Actually said that, actually.
Speaker D:Okay, full circle.
Speaker B:Okay, I have an idea.
Speaker D:I don't like that.
Speaker B:Oh, my God, this is so stupid.
Speaker B:Oh, no, this is so stupid.
Speaker D:Am I going to do it?
Speaker D:Would I.
Speaker D:Would I be stupid enough to do this?
Speaker B:Yeah, I might be.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Okay, okay.
Speaker B:I'm going to commit.
Speaker D:All right, Now I'm excited.
Speaker A:He's going to commit.
Speaker A:Commit a murder.
Speaker E:Commit a hate crime.
Speaker D:Look, we were at 69 earlier.
Speaker D:You can't really go down from there.
Speaker D:Like.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:Jesus.
Speaker A:Great pool.
Speaker A:Great song.
Speaker A:Pool, cj.
Speaker D:Ah, that should have been my walkout song.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:This is so stupid.
Speaker E:I already like it.
Speaker B:I'm going to death ward myself.
Speaker D:Okay.
Speaker B:And then run 30ft away from you.
Speaker B:So we're back at 60.
Speaker B:So stupid.
Speaker B:4.
Speaker B:I could just attack anyway.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's what I Did.
Speaker B:And it's your turn again.
Speaker D:Great.
Speaker D:In that case, I am going to run 30ft and then I'm going to use my bonus action to teleport the remaining 30ft to you.
Speaker D:Oh, and I'm going to stab you.
Speaker C:Is this a basement or a prison yard?
Speaker D:It really sucks I lost my other weapon because that's how I got my.
Speaker B:How did that happen?
Speaker B:You should have been more careful.
Speaker D:But that was a good play.
Speaker A:Wait, that's a nat 20.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:What's the rule on that, guys?
Speaker E:Damage.
Speaker A:I think it's max damage.
Speaker D:I've played it where you either double the dice rolled or you double the damage.
Speaker A:Cj, what's your call on this one, bud?
Speaker A:As the seasoned.
Speaker C:Well, I mean, what I've noticed is the most casual one.
Speaker C:Casuals would be double damage.
Speaker C:Max damage is kind of a.
Speaker C:A home style thing that was done.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Books.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker A:Double damage.
Speaker D:Deal.
Speaker D:Big money.
Speaker D:So that's 20 damage.
Speaker B:I. I'm on 7 HP.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:Big Sad.
Speaker D:Within five minutes of you.
Speaker A:He can turn it.
Speaker A:He can still turn it.
Speaker D:That's true.
Speaker B:Yeah, definitely.
Speaker B:And I turn it by turning into a giant owl.
Speaker D:Oh, okay.
Speaker E:Interesting.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Polymarth.
Speaker B:Let me just get that spell slot out the way.
Speaker B:Polymorph.
Speaker E:You know what owls eat.
Speaker B:All right, and then imma just fly up in the air 60ft because I have flyby and you can't touch me.
Speaker B:Okay, yeah, that's.
Speaker B:Yes.
Speaker B:Your turn.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:I am going to use my turn to do nothing fancy at all.
Speaker D:And I am just going to stand there with my weapon and I'm going to.
Speaker D:Do I have another dagger?
Speaker D:I just think I did.
Speaker D:I have one dagger.
Speaker D:I'm gonna pull out the other dagger and I'm just gonna stand there looking at you.
Speaker B:Oh, no.
Speaker D:With both weapons in my hands, waiting for you to come to me.
Speaker A:I dubbed thee McDagger.
Speaker D:Yeah.
Speaker E:Is that your turn?
Speaker D:That's gonna be my whole turn.
Speaker E:Dude, you could have went and picked up the swords.
Speaker D:They're all the way in the basement.
Speaker E:You're in the basement?
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker A:You guys are back in the basement.
Speaker D:Oh, we are.
Speaker A:When you guys fell down, you guys teleported back to the basement.
Speaker D:God damn it.
Speaker D:I could have gotten my sword.
Speaker B:I never got that.
Speaker E:I did not get that whole time, I thought you were just.
Speaker B:No, I was in my dream.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker A:You guys went 500ft up, and then you guys went 500ft back down.
Speaker A:You guys went back to the basement,.
Speaker B:But we would have teleported past whatever roof.
Speaker B:So I Would have imagined that we were falling back towards.
Speaker D:I didn't think we were because we couldn't control the carpet.
Speaker D:But, yeah, the council.
Speaker B:Yeah, I thought.
Speaker B:Would have fallen onto whatever the roof of that place is.
Speaker D:That's kind of what I thought, too.
Speaker D:But it doesn't matter.
Speaker D:It just affects what weapon I get.
Speaker C:Rudy.
Speaker A:Hey, you're a host, too.
Speaker A:You're a judge.
Speaker A:You could have gone through with this as well.
Speaker A:All right, fuck it.
Speaker A:You guys are roof fighting, I guess.
Speaker D:All right, so I'll pull out my dagger and I will wait for the owl to come to me.
Speaker B:Damn it.
Speaker B:I'm here trying to figure out how many licks it's gonna take to get.
Speaker D:I'm literally just gonna.
Speaker D:You said it was a bonus action to get my other weapon out, right?
Speaker D:Or an action.
Speaker A:What?
Speaker E:I think a bonus is fine at this point.
Speaker E:Yeah.
Speaker D:Okay, then I'll use my action to just ready an attack.
Speaker D:If the owl flies within range, I.
Speaker B:Need to be close.
Speaker B:Why did I waste it on an owl?
Speaker B:I could have been anything.
Speaker A:You panic, brother.
Speaker D:Don't you dare.
Speaker D:Dis owls, they eat rats.
Speaker D:What kind of choice?
Speaker B:A great big bar.
Speaker B:Oh, like a patu tattoo is a Jamaican term for the barn.
Speaker B:Oh, because they're superstitious about death.
Speaker D:That's cool.
Speaker B:What?
Speaker B:Can I pick up a rock and just try to drop it at her like an unarmed slide?
Speaker A:It's an.
Speaker A:It's unorthodox, but I'll allow it.
Speaker E:Roll an investigation, See if you can discover a rock.
Speaker B:I am an owl, but let's do this.
Speaker D:You got it.
Speaker B:I should have.
Speaker A:You should.
Speaker A:You should have done wisdom.
Speaker A:It's an owl, dude.
Speaker A:He's wise.
Speaker A:Investigation, investigation.
Speaker B:I'm just going to do a D20 roll because I don't think they have a lot of intelligence.
Speaker B:That's the actual one.
Speaker B:Yeah, that's what I want.
Speaker A:Nope.
Speaker A:All shrubs.
Speaker B:All shrubs.
Speaker B:Do I still get to slide down there and attack?
Speaker A:Yeah, if you want, you can try to swoop down.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:All brain at this point.
Speaker B:So I'm just gonna roll.
Speaker B:That's a four.
Speaker B:That's just a four.
Speaker A:All right, so you swoop down and.
Speaker D:You miss if you.
Speaker D:And I'm in range, swiping at you.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker A:Roll your swipe.
Speaker E:Is that a reaction?
Speaker D:Yeah, if you ready an action.
Speaker D:You're basically utilizing it to use your reaction.
Speaker A:This is the moment of truth, man.
Speaker A:You gotta hope she rolls a one as well.
Speaker D:I got a 12.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:That's my armor class.
Speaker B:Kill this out,.
Speaker A:Hedwig.
Speaker D:No, that's five damage.
Speaker B:I'm on 14 damage from.
Speaker B:Oh, but I still have to roll Khan.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:I just keep my old farm.
Speaker D:There you go.
Speaker E:Doesn't sound like an advantage from where you're at right now, brother.
Speaker B:Yeah, no.
Speaker A:Hey, man.
Speaker B:Hey.
Speaker A:Something, something.
Speaker A:If I would have that swipe would have caught him regular form, I would have got him pretty good.
Speaker A:I don't think we got him pretty good.
Speaker A:The owl is the advantage right now.
Speaker B:Your turn.
Speaker D:All right.
Speaker D:Are you.
Speaker D:I'm assuming you flew away from me after you.
Speaker B:Here's the issue.
Speaker B:I flew 60ft up, then I flew 60ft down.
Speaker B:I got no movement left.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker D:And in that case, I'm just gonna stab you.
Speaker D:I mean, no choice.
Speaker B:I didn't think about it.
Speaker B:But also old brain, so fair.
Speaker D:So I'll go on my short sword to start.
Speaker D:Oh, that was almost a one.
Speaker D:So yeah, that's six damage.
Speaker B:All right.
Speaker B:All ain't looking great.
Speaker D:And then because I used my short sword, which is the weapon I have mastery with, I have advantage on my next attack.
Speaker D:And now I have my dagger.
Speaker D:So I do have an offhand attack.
Speaker B:Let's go.
Speaker C:Is that the same as an offhanded comment?
Speaker D:Some may think so.
Speaker D:That's a 20 to hit.
Speaker B:Yep.
Speaker D:Okay, so I do get sneak attack on this one.
Speaker D:5 And 15.
Speaker D:So 20 damage total.
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:I am no longer on O.
Speaker B:And I, thanks to Death Ward, I'm on one gp.
Speaker A:Oh, my God.
Speaker D:Was the move.
Speaker B:I stand in front of you on one hp.
Speaker A:Yo, that's.
Speaker A:That's survival.
Speaker A:That's survival right there.
Speaker A:That man planned ahead.
Speaker D:That was like.
Speaker A:That's crazy.
Speaker B:Right in front of you.
Speaker B:I have one final Hail Mary.
Speaker B:Wait, hold on.
Speaker B:What race are you?
Speaker D:Shadow Kai.
Speaker B:I don't know what that is.
Speaker B:Is that an elf?
Speaker D:Yeah, it's a Shadowfell elf, essentially.
Speaker B:Oh, God.
Speaker B:I was going to use sleep.
Speaker B:That would have fucked me over.
Speaker D:Yeah, you can.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:God.
Speaker B:Okay.
Speaker B:You know, so picture this, though.
Speaker E:You guys are standing face to face on a roof, all bloody after fighting for what, like an hour now.
Speaker E:And he just looks and goes, what race are you?
Speaker A:What are you.
Speaker A:What are you.
Speaker B:So funny and I'm so sorry.
Speaker A:Just Hail Mary, man.
Speaker A:Just sucker punchers.
Speaker C:How right in the kiss.
Speaker B:I wish so bad that I didn't.
Speaker B:What you call it that banana peel as a. Oh.
Speaker B:So I'm here again.
Speaker B:1Hp, 1hp.
Speaker E:Ah,.
Speaker B:It doesn't matter if I healing word because you can just frame it out.
Speaker B:So let's go.
Speaker B:This or not?
Speaker B:Whispers One more Time.
Speaker B:We're playing the hits.
Speaker B:Ah.
Speaker D:All right, that's a whisper.
Speaker E:Careless Whisper.
Speaker B:I want to cast it as bird level.
Speaker B:Thank God you rolled a five or a six.
Speaker D:I can't roll over a ten on these save.
Speaker B:Yeah, play the hits is what I'm saying.
Speaker B:That's 21.
Speaker B:Dissonant whispers damage.
Speaker B:Please get away from me if you can.
Speaker D:Are you.
Speaker D:Are you serious?
Speaker B:Yeah.
Speaker D:21.
Speaker D:No, this is important.
Speaker C:21.
Speaker D:17 HP.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:I have one.
Speaker B:So this was my Hail Mary.
Speaker D:If you roll 21 damage, I'm downed.
Speaker B:Oh, my God.
Speaker B:It's non lethal, and the distance at whisper is like.
Speaker B:You fought well, but I'm almost dead.
Speaker B:I cannot take anymore.
Speaker B:Please, either run away or drop to the ground.
Speaker D:I think I'm downed.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker B:As you fall to the ground, I'm like, okay, I won't kill you, but I'm stealing your carpet because.
Speaker D:And I go.
Speaker B:Taking the rat.
Speaker D:Take the rat with you.
Speaker E:Are we doing death saves?
Speaker A:No, I'm.
Speaker D:I think I'm just.
Speaker A:Yeah, hold on, hold on.
Speaker A:Let's go, judges.
Speaker A:Death saves.
Speaker C:I mean, this isn't.
Speaker C:There.
Speaker C:There's no one to help, because typically, even with that, someone goes up and helps stabilize and being there fighting, I don't think they're gonna try and help each other.
Speaker C:They might.
Speaker E:His way up to the roof.
Speaker E:He scurries over to you.
Speaker E:He looks you in the eyes and he says, you're gonna pull through.
Speaker D:I will say, too.
Speaker D:Even if I do roll a death save, he could just hit me, and it would be an awful.
Speaker D:And then I would take.
Speaker A:He's like, I'm gonna stomp.
Speaker E:Don't get it twisted.
Speaker D:I know.
Speaker D:I know what's gonna happen.
Speaker A:He's like, I left you alive.
Speaker A:If I gotta come back again, it's.
Speaker A:You're not gonna be so lucky.
Speaker C:And remember, if.
Speaker C:If she started rolling death saves, he could just.
Speaker C:Coup de gras.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker C:Because there's no one to protect from said coup de grace.
Speaker B:Also.
Speaker B:No.
Speaker B:I was going to say, I think I have one code, like, cutting words left.
Speaker B:I might not.
Speaker B:I think I 5.
Speaker B:Well, I don't know if I can use them on death save.
Speaker A:For best, I would say just drop an elbow on her, dude.
Speaker C:She's proud.
Speaker D:That's a different level of jerk move being like, oh, my God, I succeeded.
Speaker D:You're like, cutting words.
Speaker D:No, hit her with the chair, brother.
Speaker A:She's like, look what I've been saving.
Speaker A:Vampiric touch.
Speaker A:All right, so as the final.
Speaker A:The final little Dissonant whispers kind of like goes into your mind.
Speaker A:You start kind of like having a flashback of all your past battles to get here.
Speaker A:You feel just a single raindrop come and hit your face.
Speaker A:And you guys teleported back into the center of the basement where you guys see around you.
Speaker A:You see banners just start dropping down.
Speaker A:Why is it still you see every past person you guys have played, everybody who's been in the tournament.
Speaker A:And then you guys see kind of those weird Hunger Games style holographic things that shows like when they die.
Speaker A:It's a picture of a rat eating a piece of cheese and it says Radicus Finch.
Speaker A:As you're standing in the center, you see Andre just kind of turned into like stardust and he reappears sitting on a throne with a crown and a scepter and a banner that says Sovereign eight champion.
Speaker A:Congratulations, Andre.
Speaker A:Congratulations, brother.
Speaker A:That's crazy.
Speaker A:Pulled that out.
Speaker D:That was pretty epic.
Speaker B:Congratulations, man.
Speaker A:You are the first ever Sovereign eight champion.

Speaker D:Well done.
Speaker D:That was crazy.
Speaker A:Holding.
Speaker D:That was wild.
Speaker A:Prison.
Speaker B:I'm not usually known for PvP as unexpected PvP, but Lilith, you gave me run for like I run for my damn.
Speaker D:Literally same like it the way the battle kept shifting.
Speaker D:Who was like ahead and like, yeah, it's a really good fight.
Speaker B:When I mean, one of my favorite moments was when you tried to seppuku as a rat and I'm like as a fourth level spell.
Speaker B:I'm not wasting that.
Speaker D:Awesome.
Speaker D:You're like, I see the look at her eyes.
Speaker D:I know what's coming.
Speaker D:That was awesome.
Speaker A:Oh man, congratulations.
Speaker A:It's been a long road to get here, but you are our first ever Sovereign 8 champion.
Speaker A:To get you a little goody basket and something to send you down.
Speaker A:We had a couple ideas.
Speaker A:That's crazy, man.
