Shownotes

Keeping up your spirits through the Thanksgiving holiday while caring for an elderly or frail loved one isn’t easy.  Yet, there are ways to find time to catch your breath, stop, and get others to do some of the heavy lifting for you.

This is a Thanksgiving holiday short Eldercare Success Episode with caregiver tips, tools, and ideas to make this time of year just a bit easier for you and someone you care for.  Even if you’re doing this alone, with family members who swoop in and think they can do better, or from 1200 miles away.

Each caregiving tip is easy to do, none of these will break the bank – and in most cases, they won’t even cost you a dime. This list is guaranteed to create memories that you’ll cherish for years to come and bring you a few smiles even after Mom and Dad are gone.

There are even a few faux pas laughs. I laughed pretty hard about these and decided to leave them here for you too. You can let me know if I went too far.

Happy Thanksgiving to all caregivers and those of you going through this first holiday season alone.  Please know that you’re never alone. I’m here for you whenever needed.
