The recent arrest of Pakistan's former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has led to heightened political tensions, protests, and unrest in the country. While Khan has now been released, he faces more than 120 criminal charges. Protests by Khan's supporters and counter-demonstrations by government supporters are likely to continue, particularly in the capital Islamabad.
