As always, Jim Salveson sits down with three exciting new acts to find out more about their story, their inspiration and (of course) their latest tunes. This week;

Eyal Pik: London-based, Israeli-born singer-songwriter Eyal Pik creates colourful psych-pop that sits somewhere between Britpop, 60s rock 'n' roll and modern indie storytelling. Blending sharp observations, infectious melodies and more than a little psychedelic charm; Think Bob Dylan wandering into a late-night Camden jam session with The Kinks. Lovely stuff.

The Certs: Four lads from Surrey bringing a punchy indie-punk energy that feels refreshingly free of gimmicks. Built around raw live performances, hook-filled songwriting and a healthy respect for classic rock 'n' roll, The Certs have quickly built a reputation for sell-out local shows and fast-rising momentum. Loud, youthful and absolutely no messing about.

Seven Streets: Armed with huge riffs, soaring melodies and the sort of anthemic sound that recalls the best of Stereophonics and Cast, Steven Streets are already building a sizeable buzz around Merseyside. Big songs, big ambition and the kind of tunes made for singing back at festival stages.
