Shownotes

Today, I want to talk about some of the symptoms of mental health issues caused by overthinking. Overthinking is one of the biggest threats to making progress in your life, because it keeps you from taking action, and that can lead to poor performance in many areas of your life.

Here are 5 symptoms of when overthinking goes wrong:

  1. You start believing the lies.
  2. You start worrying more.
  3. You have trouble concentrating.
  4. You lack mental energy.
  5. Everything seems to be moving too fast.

If you feel like you are on a dangerous path with your thoughts, find someone you trust to talk to. You can't always see yourself clearly, especially when your thoughts are running around in circles. Overthinking is not an easy thing to overcome; you have to take the time to learn to redirect those thoughts. Don't get caught up in the negative, but learn to embrace the positive.

How has overthinking affected your life? Do you find yourself getting caught up in the trap of overthinking? How have you been able to overcome that obstacle? What steps are you taking now to overcome it? Let me know at ken@teencatalyst.com.
