[00:02:33] Eric Goranson: Nice. I am nice. Yeah, I good. It's almost done. I've got to run over to William cause he's got some extra installation, so I need just a little bit more. You know, it's, it's funny. You can buy these big bats of insulation and it's great, but the problem is is you get that little bit, and you're like, man, I'm going to have to either like store or throw three quarters of a bundle away, which I hate because I needed it.

[00:03:10] Eric Goranson: Cause I was blowing money with heating and cooling, letting that literally just go up right through the roof. And a man made a huge difference on comfort in here because I used to walk out here in the winter time here and it might be, you know, 34, 35 degrees outside and it'd be 42 in the garage. Cause I wasn't eating at all light.

[00:03:42] Caroline Blazovsky: open face.

[00:04:02] Eric Goranson: So we'll see what happens. So I don't want to spend a ton of money on it. You

[00:04:10] Eric Goranson: So well, it's just two by four trusses up there. So I just threw, I already had some Rockwool up there, which is great. Uh, but I just went and bought some inexpensive.

[00:04:43] Eric Goranson: Yeah. So

[00:05:04] Eric Goranson: Oh yeah.

[00:05:31] Eric Goranson: Sometimes you don't get like their best model. So the one model that I have is the only shop vac model that they make rigid makes that you can't put a bag in. I won't accept bags. Yeah. And yes. How do I know? Yes. I called the rigid and asked him and like, oh yeah, that's the one model we make the one except.

[00:06:05] Caroline Blazovsky: where you have the little hook inside the well, yeah,

[00:06:18] Eric Goranson: You know, and I know, yes. And by the way, guys, it is a vacuum. I know shop-vac is its own name and I'm mixing brands up, but this is like talking about Kleenex and I'm talking about facial tissue, tissue and weed eaters or things like that. You know, it's just what it is. So bare with my incorrect branding that I'm combining.

[00:07:02] Eric Goranson: Oh, yeah, it's going to be delivered. It was delivered. I, the notification I got yesterday afternoon was delivered and I'm like, didn't show up at my house. So I go on my home Depot app and I'm looking at it and I look at it and I'm like, huh, that was it. 2:06 PM. So go over to my camera's system. I'm like, okay, well there's.

[00:07:51] Eric Goranson: And everybody was really nice on this, so I'm not bashing anybody. I'm just telling the experience. And so I sit there and I'm like, all right, this is cool. [00:08:00] So get on the phone with them. And just as a lady starting to explain to me, I make it through all the press one, press two, press four, you know, all the way through the whole thing.

[00:08:30] Eric Goranson: But here's the one who handed out. Mike. So the customer's got to call your shipping department. So I wasn't super impressed by that, but so I look at it, I'm like online, I'm like, oh, they're open till 9:00 PM Pacific. He was thinking that they were closed. I might they're open for me. Cause it was like seven o'clock Pacific.

[00:09:06] Eric Goranson: And this took two hours called home Depot back. Get through all the different four or 5, 3, 2, 1, you know, don't text me. I don't want to text it. I just want to talk to somebody. And then she goes, ah, hold on, let me get them on the phone. So now I wait for four or five minutes for that person to get. And finally I get a, I get a thing going, Hey, I just called the driver and texted him.

[00:09:57] Caroline Blazovsky: Yeah. They bought a shop back and it's the holidays and they're [00:10:00] thinking, Hey, I didn't order.

[00:10:15] Eric Goranson: Hopefully we'll get through that.

[00:10:20] Eric Goranson: oh, they're busted. They're busted. So we'll see what happens. This is going to be interesting. This has

[00:10:39] Caroline Blazovsky: So just, you know, as a home improvement show and a home show, just everybody take care. Like don't, don't be speeding around paying attention to what's going on. Cause this

[00:10:58] Eric Goranson: Which we had a [00:11:00] fax for Glasser that almost got stuck out there.

[00:11:16] Caroline Blazovsky: Like if you see it a package truck, avoid it. Cause you never know

[00:11:25] Eric Goranson: Well, you had your own Follies this week with your, uh, your Charlie brown Christmas tree.

[00:11:34] Eric Goranson: nah, nah, nah, nah, I don't have to pay for the rights to use the Charlie brown

[00:11:53] Caroline Blazovsky: And then we went to put it up and, or the needles were pouring off of it onto the [00:12:00] ground. I mean, we're talking. Pools of Lee, of, of leaves of needles everywhere. So we bring it inside the house needles, everywhere needles. I'm looking at the top, the top of the tree looks really brown. So I'm like, I don't know.

[00:12:32] Eric Goranson: nuclear disaster.

[00:12:51] Caroline Blazovsky: No needles come off at the

[00:13:00] Caroline Blazovsky: Oh, so he's like, this tree is perfectly fine. So back home, we go back of the truck, bring it back in. And what is the first thing it does? And it gets in the jar and we put it in the driveway and stand it up.

[00:13:18] Eric Goranson: I think home Depot, you can order online. One of those, uh, you know, one of the artificial tree still,

[00:13:36] Eric Goranson: Oh yeah. You're going to need one. Our artificial tree is it's lasted. Because we've had two different puppies that have chewed up the lights that are part of the tree. So this year I actually had to go in and cut off the lower rung from last year with the puppy that was eating on the lights. So I went in and figured out where the lights were and surgically removed the bad lights [00:14:00] and then went and bought another thing of led lights to put in there.

[00:14:10] Caroline Blazovsky: So I have a question for you, cause this is a big thing and I know nothing about this. So when you get a fake tree, they give you like numbers of lights on the tree.

[00:14:33] Eric Goranson: that's pretty trimming. You want them. Yeah. I mean, it's, it's, it needs to be a tree.

[00:14:46] Caroline Blazovsky: The lights, like when you see the trees that have less and they're cheaper, it's probably.

[00:15:02] Eric Goranson: I mean, it's really, depending on what you're going to do, it's kind of like, you know, it's kinda like going to Costco and getting one of their meals and then adding your own stuff onto it and putting it in its own dish and bringing it up for dinner, go out and look at this homemade dish I just made, you know, you can add a little bit to it.

[00:15:20] Caroline Blazovsky: like, see for me for the lazy man, it kind of defeats the purpose. If I got to bring, put the tree up and then add stuff to it, it's like, oh, what's the point? Well,

[00:15:37] Caroline Blazovsky: I'm a fan I'm like, like I just want to be like one and done, but the tree up it's done.

[00:16:04] Eric Goranson: Got a video on that.

[00:16:13] Eric Goranson: turkeys and trees. Caroline B way. Well, Hey guys, if you missed the last weekend show, I want to talk about this real quick, last weekend show. We had a really good one. [00:17:40] Eric Goranson: Oh yeah. And there's a lot of them in there. So it's jam packed. Now speaking about secrets, we've got our, uh, design trends for 2022 coming out on this weekend. And then we have black talent and our neighbor, oh

[00:18:00] Caroline Blazovsky: If you guys are into any kind of like cyber security, we have Gary Solomon and he is like the guru of protecting yourself. And Eric knows a lot about technology. And he'll tell you that,

[00:18:22] Eric Goranson: Even for you, Caroline, the one that, uh, the person that gets the hacked emails and gets hacked saying.

[00:18:39] Eric Goranson: be on yeah. From the crew. And so that one's good.

[00:19:09] Eric Goranson: But there will be the commercial free one, you know, no, no cuts in the middle of this on Christmas day. And holy smokes, this thing is a wild one. We've got. Jeez, the list of people. We've got a, uh, David Applebom on there. We've got. The architect of the stars. Yeah, we got skip it. Alison Bedel from catch a contractor from Fox and friends in the morning.

[00:19:42] Caroline Blazovsky: Panasonic. Is there joining us with all kinds of, oh, and you're going to get all kinds of new information about products coming to market, which we didn't expect. Right. We got to hear it.

[00:20:00] Eric Goranson: We've got Damon Bennet and he's on a new show coming up on HDTV that he announces for the first time in the show on Christmas. So that'll be coming up and you're going to find him on one of the longest running HDTV shows. He is now going to be the contractor on that. So we got a wild one. If you want to laugh, you want to cry.

[00:20:38] Caroline Blazovsky: great holiday party. So we, you guys will be, you got the, in, on our holiday shindig this year and we

[00:20:46] Caroline Blazovsky: Eric, Eric ran the.

[00:20:54] Eric Goranson: And then a man we're starting to line up stuff for next year and we got [00:21:00] one that is, we got, we got a bunch of stuff. That's going to be good coming up here in January. So you don't want to miss it. Can't believe that we're already talking about January 20, 22 shows.

[00:21:15] Eric Goranson: good year for, for the show.

[00:21:31] Caroline Blazovsky: God, we got to talk about that. Stoves. Yeah. Stuff going on with stoves a hundred and third, actually,

[00:21:41] Caroline Blazovsky: So 130, 2000 sold in the U S if you bought one at best buy home Depot Lowe's and other places.

[00:21:53] Eric Goranson: is GE. Yeah. So this is GE, which is owned by Harrier. Now they're not [00:22:00] GE anymore that you normally see, but the hairier owns them now. So this is their free standing and slide in ranges. Right. And so, um, you take a look, they've got all the different stuff here. You can go over to, uh, the cpsc.gov recall.

[00:22:43] Eric Goranson: It keeps the rain from tipping over and throwing all of that burning liquid onto you out.

[00:22:56] Eric Goranson: Yeah. So, um, they do not need to [00:23:00] return the recalled ranges. They are contacting all known purchasers directly. But you can also call GE appliances as well. And again, uh, all that information is over on the consumer product safety commission, cpsc.gov forward slash recalls for that one.

[00:23:41] Eric Goranson: Uh, they can overheat while charging or in use posing burn and fire hazards.

[00:23:52] Eric Goranson: Well, by the time, many times, I mean, think about it though, if, if it's the winter time and I got like, maybe my Carhartt jacket on. [00:24:00] And it's sitting on top of the hat and the lawyers are going up here, but all the batteries are in that Darin, that piece, you could have your car, her jacket on for a minute.

[00:24:33] Eric Goranson: Um, so what it is is, you know, you have the coils for your air conditioner and when that is running it condenses water, the water drops into a drain pan drain pan waters out gets the moisture out of it. The problem is, is if you've got this molded drain pan in there, and you've got a gas furnace underneath it and an upload type configuration, those can melt and possibly catch on fire.[00:25:00]

[00:25:25] Eric Goranson: And that's how you can find all of that. So guys, Jack ton of stuff on there and, uh, be careful out there. These things are good, good things to keep an eye out for, you know, uh, it's just like, there's the w there's a Walmart, uh, battery powered nailer. That's recalled. There's a lot of stuff out there. So.

[00:25:49] Caroline Blazovsky: HVAC. That's, uh, you know, that's a pretty big one

[00:25:54] Caroline Blazovsky: Oh, sorry. They said stove. They article

[00:25:59] Caroline Blazovsky: [00:26:00] don't shoot the messenger. It says right here, the recalled stoves were sold under the cafe, the conservator or the cross.

[00:26:08] Eric Goranson: They're saying, I'm just saying that the person that wrote the article. I was calling them a stove and they're arrange

[00:26:18] Eric Goranson: my bad, but it's not like it's a wood-burning stove, right? These are a range or a freestanding range or a sliding range.

[00:26:30] Eric Goranson: Now
