The Body of Christ is not just in one denomination or another.
By the diversity of each individual part, this makes up the entire
body of Christ and Jesus is the head.
Christ is not divided.
All parts make up the whole.
• Christ is coming forth in a many membered body.
• God wants to give us all things.
• I am learning to enjoy the diversity that exists in others.
• Love is more important than being right.
• God has given a gift of other people.
1 Corinthians 12:14,
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
16 from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love.
Matthew 24:23, 24
23 “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ,’ or ‘There He is,’ do not believe him.
24 “For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
27 to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this
mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.
20 Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us,
19 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
8 Therefore it says,
“WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH,
HE LED CAPTIVE A HOST OF CAPTIVES,
AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN.”
1 Corinthians 3:6
6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth.
28 “And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil, nor do they spin,
21 who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
1 Corinthians 13:13
13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
43 I was a stranger, and you did not invite Me in; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and you did not visit Me.’
11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”
5 Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
21 that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.
3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
1 Corinthians 9:22
22 To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men, so that I may by all means save some.
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
2 Corinthians 3:3
3 being manifested that you are a letter of Christ, cared for by us, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
8 For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that.
“The Thousand Faces of God”
Was a project started in the late 1970’s and was never completed.
• Christ in you is the hope of Glory.
• Love is the like blood [of Christ] that flows among us, gives us life.
• Because we are free there is more of a diversity expressed.
Christ is not divided He is one.
• The thousand faces of God could be a thousand people.
God wants to give you all things.
The things we call division, never was division , it was just a different manifestation of Christ in the earth.
The answers are already here, it is just that God requires us to be interdependent.
