Perfect Is Come

By Tammy Lacock

New Format: Loving the Christ-life! now hosts 30-minute clips of Warren Litzman’s in-depth conference teachings around the world with live audiences. Warren taught this series, Excellency of Knowledge of Christ, at the 2005 Christ-life Fellowship Conference at Pine Lodge, South Africa.

“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.” (Philippians 3:8 KJV)

Warren Litzman’s message—in this podcast and in every one of his podcasts, videos, and audios—is simply that Christ lives in every believer. He follows the Apostle Paul as Paul follows Christ. We are called now to do the same (1 Corinthians 11:1).

Throughout Paul’s 14 epistles, he shares over 146 times that Christ lives in us now as believers. This is the “excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord” that he speaks of in Philippians 3:8.

Nothing else mattered to Paul since he knew Christ was his life. His life before coming to this knowledge no longer meant anything to him. He had a radical mind-change, a revelation. It took Paul three years after his conversion on the road to Damascus before the Holy Spirit revealed Christ in him, as his new life. From there, bringing this new gospel to the world, he was met with much resistance. Why? Because unless people had a mind-change, a revelation given only by the Holy Spirit, they could not grasp this new and different kind of knowledge. Paul prayed that we, too, would have this revelation. He wanted believers to know that Christ is joined to us in spirit and He is our new life. We are new creations in Christ. Our old lives are dead (Galatians 2:20).

With Christ as our life now, we are perfect in the eyes of God because Christ is perfect. There is nothing we can do or not do to please God. We are His sons and daughters now by the Christ who lives in us.

As Warren shares, Paul knew that He that is in us is bigger than anyone against us or anything outside of us. Nothing else but Christ matters.

We stand perfect before God because Christ gave His life to BE our new life, our eternal life. He knew no sin. He was the Passover Lamb. By His death and resurrection, He brought us out of slavery, out of this world and into God’s kingdom.

The perfect is come, perfect is Christ, our righteousness, our wisdom, our strength, our salvation, our very life.
