The Trailer to a movie is a delicate 2.5 minutes of mystery, intrigue and hope. If done properly they’re reviewed by podcasters like us and carefully scrutinized for Easter eggs and brief moments of the enjoyment to come. If done wrong, you lose some of your potential audience ( Sonic the Hedgehog for example) and end up conveying the wrong message all together. This week instead of just reviewing one, we use the trailer as part of our feature presentation.

The premise: We all agree on watching a trailer that none of us have seen. The kicker is that the trailer needs to be viewed in silence and with nothing but our creative juices and wit we have to come up with the plot without any lines, lyrics or laugh tracks

Trailer of choice for the debate….Andrew Lloyd Webber's Broadway success turned feature length musical CATS (meow, purrrrr, sing, dance, wash rinse repeat?)

In the living room this week is Mark Cowell, Jimmy Skinner, Micheal Petrow and Chris Stanton

Trailer of the week: No Time To Die ( James Bond )

Welcome to The Reel Debaters, where real life meets reel life...

Each week you’ll hear 4 debaters sit down as they come up with a new tussle where they compare, contrast and insult each other with their takes for your listening pleasure. They'll either insert themselves into a story or see how they fare or bring the characters into real life scenarios that make less than no sense. As a bonus you'll get access from within the film industry and listen to "reel talks" about our favorite moments, scenes and stories.

Tune Thursday for a new episode and if there’s something you wanna hear beaten to death send us an email
