Danielle grew up in a happy home with loving parents. In fact, she considered them to be her best friends. She went to a good private school as a child and felt she had a wonderful childhood even though her father was an alcoholic. Danielle grew up thinking everyone was kind and caring, but then she moved out into the world outside her bubble.

The man she fell in love with, and had a child with, turned out to be an abuser. Danielle spent years working to free herself from that life. Once she did, she turned to her work and tried to heal. Danielle eventually found love again, but this time, he was a narcissist, and she was once again in an abusive relationship. This left Danielle to wonder, “How the hell did this happen?”
