Welcome to Coffee Powered Systems, equipping women with actionable steps to overcome, overwhelm and streamline business and life. So grab your favorite drink and come hang out with me. I'm your host, Miranda Merten. Hello, hello, welcome back to Coffee Powered Systems, I'm your host, Miranda Merten, and today is Tip Tuesday, where I give you the skinny on an app or a tool that can be useful for your personal productivity. If you have a product or are a content creator, a marketer and educator, a salesperson, you're going to want to listen up, because today I am talking about Sendspark from Sendspark website.
[:It says, Connect to customers with video, drive more engagement, build human relationships, increase email conversions. And when we talk about email and email marketing, people want to know that there's an actual person behind the email. And even though we still get tons of email every single day, it's nice to know that there's actually people sending the emails. It's a nice touch. When people reach out, marketers reach out, human beings reach out personally. Or you can actually see the team members who are behind the scenes.
[:And that is the idea behind Sendspark to add personal touch to your email marketing. Now, here are some things that you can do with a tool like Sendspark. You can on board new users or clients, nurture your sales leads, add welcome videos to your newsletters. There's so much stuff that you can do when using video and email, because if you're anything like me, I get a ton of email messages every single day. I don't even read them all.
[:I scan the headline. First of all, your subject line has to be good in order to get people to open the email, but once they open it, there's got to be something else drawing them in. There's got to be a great antidote in the first few lines to get them to keep reading. Or in the case of using a tool like Sendspark, where you can add a video into your email or video message, you can put the preview of the video message into your email.
[:And when they click through, they get a personalized video or a video explaining your product. Maybe it's a walk through or a testimonial of some other client, just little videos, something to stand out. We don't get those every day. And if people know and get used to you sending little tidbits or tips through video, they might be more inclined to open your emails down the road as well. I grab Sendspark when it was an app, Sumell lifetime deal and I still have yet to use it for what it's intended.
[:I'm currently using it sort of like Loom, a screen recorder and using it for all of my explainer videos, for my businesses plus for all of my clients as well. I have different workspaces with different branding, depending on which screen share I'm doing for each client, whether it's my own business or whether it's something else or somebody else's SOPs. I use my screen shares and I have right now just a archive of videos of, you know, walking through things.
[:And whenever someone asked me a question of how do I do this or where can I find this super easy to just screen grab it and screen record it and walk them through really quickly. So, you know, a quick three minute or less video, that's what I'm using Sendspark for right now. But definitely I will be incorporating this more into email as I read through and look through their website and kind of get my creative juices flowing as to what I can use this for.
[:Once you've created your videos, you can share the links via text message or anywhere that you can share links, really, and you can embed them in your email or on your website. Lastly, they also have a request video feature where you can send a link to anyone to request a video from them. So think about job applications or client testimonials, customer feedback, or maybe if you just want to do like something on a personal level, like getting everybody in your family to create a video for grandma on her upcoming birthday.
[:And then you can, like, have all the videos sent to you and you can edit them together later. So think outside of business, think outside the box. You can make it just personal or you can think about how to add the personal touch into your business. So Sendspark is free to start. You can start on their free level if you just want to give it a test run and see what it's all about. You get 30 videos at the free level, but they will have the Sendspark watermark on them.
[:And although you can still share and embed, you can't download the videos on the free plan. Now their problem is priced at fifteen dollars a month. You get unlimited videos, custom branding, and that's when you can also add call to actions on your video landing pages so you can add a personal note. And say, hi, Maria, did you enjoy this video? Why don't you book a call with me and we can discuss more, just think about different call to action so you can add at the end of your videos and really get people to you click through and take action.
[:And of course, if you purchase a yearly plan, you do get a small discount. So instead of the 15 dollars a month, you'll be paying what it comes out to as 12 dollars per month. So again, that is Sendspark where you can record videos, records, screen videos. They do have a Chrome desktop feature where you can record right from Chrome. You just click the button while you're on the Chrome browser and record that way. Send videos within your emails.
