SUMMARY: There is a dawning in the sons of God, that there is a level of maturity being created by the Father to bring them into the hope of their calling. The agency is the Holy Spirit, who is leading and guiding these ones into being one body and one spirit. He is in the process of coming within His people and bringing forth the Kingdom on earth. SHOW NOTES:
  • In this day the believers who love God and believe that they have been called for His plan and purpose, are waking up to the process of becoming conformed to the image of His Son.
  • One pitfall that these believers are facing is trying to do things for God outside of their relationship with God.
  • The main emphasis is still to know God, but the awareness is shifting to more of a reality that He is coming forth in us.
  • We—Christ's body-- are the kingdom of God. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father, making intercession until we bring His enemies under His feet.
  • Just as the Holy Spirit came on the gathering at Pentecost, we need the power of the Holy Spirit leading and guiding us as we focus on bringing His kingdom onto this earth.
Quotations:
  • Look at Christ as He was born a baby. He was not just a Son of God; He was the Son of Man. He went through the same identifications with things and places and people that we do.
  • The way it works is we do everything in Him, because it's in Him and through Him that we will see this work completed.
  • The changes come almost imperceptibly.
  • Our walk with Him comes from the life of Christ in us. He's walking in us. The goal is for His purposes, whatever that is, and we know His purpose is to redeem all of creation.
  • There must be a willingness to do everything possible, to be alert to the times and the seasons, for God does not intend for us to put our heads in the sand like an ostrich...but neither does God want these things to choke out the Word until we are no longer listening to His Truth and following it.
  • We always talk about how the early disciples walk with the Lord before the crucifixion, but we never talk about how they walk with the Lord after the crucifixion. A resurrected Christ appears before these guys and teaches them about the Kingdom of God for 40 days, and He does amazing things.
  • Christ couldn't walk the way He walked without the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and neither can we.
  • We have the prescription for coming into the fullness of the kingdom of God. It's through Jesus Christ and His embodiment within us.
REFERENCES: Matthew 26:63-64 But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest said to Him, “I adjure You by the Living God, that You tell us whether You are the Christ, the Son of God.” Jesus said to him, “You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven,” II Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves. Luke 21:34-36 Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. Romans 8:20-21, 28-30 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified. Acts 1:3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God. Acts 1:13 When they had entered the city, they went up to the upper room where they were staying. TAKE AWAY: Jesus Christ is coming forth in us individually and as a body of believers. He came forth as a man, and exemplified the priority of having a intimate relationship with the Father. Now He ever lives to make intercession for the plan of the Father to to have a people. The Father is the great creator and He has been bringing His kingdom in a people. He sent the Holy Spirit to teach and lead each believer to follow after the pattern Son. His working is at our initiative—all we have to do is ask. Just say, “Spirit, fill me.”

Transcripts

Ken:

Look at Christ, as He was born a baby. He was not just a son of God, He was the son of man. He went through the same identifications with things and places and people that we do. He overcame things like we do. Why was that necessary? Because of His connection with the Father.

If we keep looking to the Lord - He is the end of our completion. And so if we deviate from that path thinking I'll do something for God and that'll account for everything that I'm not doing in my relationship with God. No, that's not the way it works. The way it works is we do everything in Him. Because it's in Him and through Him that we will see this work completed.

Roger:

Jesus Christ can come forth in us individually, and more importantly, as a body of people. He can come forth into a completion. Paul said, " we have this treasure in earthen vessels." When Jesus made those ex exportations, He says, "let not that day become upon you unaware to catch you unaware." You remember that little phrase?

That's exactly the way things work, and that's the way it works inside of us. The changes come almost imperceptibly.

Earl:

Our walk with Him comes from the life of Christ in us. He's walking in us and what's the goal? Is it just for me to know Him? The goal is for His purposes, whatever that is, and we know is purpose is to redeem all of creation.

When you walk with God, you'll do works, but you won't do them for God. You'll do them because of God. We are here to walk with Him in whatever He wants. My goal is to know Him, and in doing that, I'm gonna do works. All creation will be set free by our freedom.

David:

He is the great creator, but He's still creating in us, and He's creating that portion of us where He can share the holiness of His with us - and it's a little by little. He had to do the same thing that we're doing and we're changing daily. It's Christ in me.

Lois:

I feel it is a mixture. Jesus, the son of God, Jesus, the son of man. God needed both sides. I am so glad to be able to walk out the man's side of it. The kingdom of God is within me, and I know that's where I live.

I love that I can walk it out here on the earth. I. Aren't we bringing the kingdom of God to the earth? This is where we're gonna live. This is where we're gonna function. There must be a willingness to do everything possible, to be alert to the times and seasons for God Does not intend for us to put our heads in the sand like an ostrich.

And ignore the times and the conditions upon the earth. But neither does God want these things to choke out the word until we are no longer listening to His truth and following it. I just think God gets pleasure outta seeing this thing work out.

Mike:

We are the kingdom of God. It's already here because we are the kingdom of God. In Romans it says. "We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose, for whom He for knew. He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.

And whom He predestined these He also called. Whom He called these He also justified and whom He justified these he also glorified. For the creation, was subjected to futility, not of its own will, but because of Him who subjected it in hope that the creation itself also would be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom and the glory of the children of God. We're here to set creation free.

Ron:

I want you to think about the early disciples. We always talk about how they walk with the Lord before the crucifixion, but we never talk about how they walk with the Lord after the crucifixion. And when Christ appeared to them, He literally appeared, physically appeared before them and taught them for 40 days.

Can you even imagine that ? A resurrected Christ appears before these guys and teaches them about the Kingdom of God for 40 days, and he does amazing things. It says He does many convincing proofs. He left no question whatsoever in their minds, none. They were convinced to the root of their being that they knew the Lord and that He had resurrected, He was resurrected. And yet, with all of that total convincing, these guys, it wasn't a mental ascent. These guys were convinced to the root. Talk about a, an agreement in a group of people. And yet the Lord says, you're not ready. What? You're not ready yet.

Wait. In the upper room . Until the Father's gift is poured out that He promised you. And all of a sudden the power of the Holy Spirit was poured out in them and everything that God had, Christ had taught them, everything He imparted to them was released. We're here to bring the kingdom of God on this earth.

Because Christ couldn't walk the way He walked without the fullness of the Holy Spirit and neither can we. We're not gonna manifest and see the love of God sweep the earth and the kingdom of God - ain't gonna happen without the fullness of the Holy Spirit. If that's what my Lord had to walk in to accomplish what He had to do when He was here, I have a sneaking feeling that we do too.

Ken:

We have the prescription for coming into the fullness of the kingdom of God. It's through Jesus Christ and His embodiment within us.
