2
:into the latest marketing trends,
tools, and tips, and provide you with
3
:the top resources you need to thrive
and make your marketing mesmerizing.
4
:And now here's your host Dimple Dang.
5
:All right, you guys, welcome back
to Mesmerizing Marketing Podcast,
6
:and today we're going to be
talking about the latest AI news.
7
:We're going to talk about
ChatGPT, Claude, MedJourney, all
8
:your favorite AI platforms.
9
:Also, just so you know, you're going to
want to listen all the way to the end
10
:because I'm also going to be sharing
with you some chat, JPT prompts that
11
:you are going to find useful for.
12
:Things that you do day to day when it
comes to business and marketing and
13
:just being more productive overall.
14
:So let's get started.
15
:This morning when I was looking online,
Sam Altman, the founder of the company
16
:that is behind chat GPT, so he's saying
that AI systems could eventually be
17
:capable of superhuman persuasion.
18
:Wow.
19
:So he's saying that such capabilities
could lead to some very strange outcomes.
20
:And, you know, his comments
come at a time where.
21
:There's already fears over how
rapidly, developing AI technology is,
22
:And so Sam Altman also commented that as
AI technology continues to grow, it's also
23
:speculated that AI technology might even
surpass the cognitive functions of humans.
24
:Now that is something
to really think about.
25
:So, if you look at AI, it's
growing at a very, very rapid pace.
26
:It's growing so quickly.
27
:. I guess, it's a little alarming of
course, but it doesn't really surprise
28
:me because it's growing so quick.
29
:So keep that one in mind.
30
:All right.
31
:Let's talk about what some of the new
features are with ChatGPT And so what
32
:they're going to be doing is they're
going to have automatic tool switching.
33
:So what this means is you're no longer
going to have to manually switch between
34
:like the browsing tool, Advanced Data
Analytics, Code Interpreter, and DALI.
35
:So ChatGPT will now handle doing
the switches automatically.
36
:Even though the option to
switch these tools manually
37
:will still remain available.
38
:Also, both of these functionalities are
available with the chat GPT enterprise
39
:plan, which was introduced back in August.
40
:And then open AI is going to incorporate
these features into the independent chat
41
:GPT plus subscription through this update
42
:and really the difference between chat
GPT plus and chat GPT enterprise is
43
:that the enterprise option provides
enterprise level privacy, security
44
:and deployment tools, and that ensures
that the AI model used by opening eyes.
45
:Corporate clients does not train on
business data or conversations and
46
:the models remain unaffected by.
47
:usage within the corporate environment.
48
:So that kind of gives you
an explanation of that.
49
:And then when you think about
generative AI chatbots, you
50
:know, they made their entry like
back in November of:
51
:And I think what I really remember
all of this stuff taking off
52
:was around March of this year.
53
:And when chat GPT came about.
54
:And every week there was like new
AI tools coming about more and
55
:more and more and more and more.
56
:And I just think it's
interesting how like.
57
:Things have grown so quickly right
and then after chat GPT there
58
:was Microsoft and Google they
introduced their own AI chatbots.
59
:So because open AI has more
competition now they really need to
60
:I'm going to sustain their position
in the AI chatbot competition.
61
:So what they are doing is
they're making an update, right?
62
:And what's going to happen is that
there's going to be a beta feature
63
:for chat GPT subscribers, which is
going to allow them to upload PDFs.
64
:The chatbot is going to analyze
the files and allow users to
65
:start asking questions about them.
66
:So let's pause for a moment
and let's evaluate that.
67
:I think this type of feature would
be extremely beneficial to lawyers,
68
:or to anyone who has to evaluate
long documents and agreements
69
:and pull information out of them.
70
:Because imagine, Having to scroll
through hundreds of pages of PDFs
71
:just to pull out the useful data,
that can be a very tedious task.
72
:And then this is actually going
to be available for PLUS users.
73
:That means you do need to have a ChatGPT
paid subscription, not the free plan.
74
:And what's interesting is
that, , remember how...
75
:All of these startup companies
started making all of these different
76
:AI tools and such that we're
doing all these individual things.
77
:So you got to wonder, did open AI just
actually kill a bunch of these startups?
78
:Because now that if it's going
to be all inclusive, there
79
:won't be need for some of those.
80
:sites out there.
81
:So I think that they're going to have
to rethink if they want to have solo
82
:offerings that they have to be something
that's not already being offered by
83
:chat GPT and chat GPT and other AI
platforms are going to continue to
84
:get better and better and better.
85
:So now let's skip over for a second
and let's talk about Anthropic, which
86
:is the developer of Claude II, okay?
87
:So, Claude II is basically just
another AI tool similar to ChatGPT,
88
:and it has a little bit different
functionality, which I will tell you
89
:guys in a moment, but Google reportedly
invested 2 billion in Anthropic, which
90
:is the developer of Claude II, and it's
basically a rival chatbot to ChatGPT.
91
:And what's interesting too, is that,
92
:Not only did Google invest in
Anthropic, Amazon also invested
93
:4 billion into Anthropic.
94
:So this news is huge, right?
95
:So basically the agreement revolves
around a broader collaboration to develop
96
:the most reliable and high performing
foundation models in the industry.
97
:So I think this is
really huge news, right?
98
:So in addition to the Claude to model
and Thropic also offers a cheaper Claude
99
:instant alternative, which can handle a
range of tasks such as Casual dialogue,
100
:analyzing text, summarizing information,
and also comprehending documents.
101
:So to give you guys a little bit
of information on Cloud AI, it's
102
:basically designed to help users
generate natural language text, such as
103
:emails, reports, and other documents.
104
:And then they have a paid plan for
people that use it more frequently.
105
:And those features have
unlimited access to use it.
106
:Priority support and custom training data.
107
:And so we talked about that.
108
:Let's talk about perplexity.
109
:So I have been using
perplexity a lot lately too.
110
:What I like about perplexity is
it gives you like the most current
111
:information out there on the internet.
112
:And it also curates where
that information came from.
113
:So the co founder and chief strategy
officer of perplexity is Johnny Ho.
114
:And Perplexity focuses on
building AI powered systems for
115
:ranking and back end systems.
116
:Let's talk about some of the
significances of some of the updates
117
:and features in the different platforms.
118
:So the Claude paid version is
really important because it shows
119
:that there is a growing demand
for AI powered writing assistance.
120
:And because of that, this could lead
to more startups developing similar
121
:tools and competing in the marketplace.
122
:And as far as perplexity AI, that's
significant because it shows that there
123
:is an interest in building AI powered
systems for ranking and back end systems.
124
:And this could lead to more
startups developing similar tools
125
:and competing in the marketplace.
126
:Let's talk about some of the differences
between ChatGPT and Cloud and perplexity.
127
:So ChatGPT, it has some limitations in
the sense where it doesn't get you the
128
:most current information it dates back
to, I think,:
129
:it can get you and then it also has a
limitation of:
130
:you can type into the prompt and then
There is a free plan, which you can use,
131
:but I prefer to use the paid plan because
you get, faster responses and you also
132
:have access to use more of the platform.
133
:And I use it every
single day, all day long.
134
:And then let's talk about Claude.
135
:So Claude's a little different.
136
:It can actually help you with summarizing
content, general research, and also
137
:creative and collaborative writing.
138
:Q and A's, coding and more.
139
:And here's the biggest difference
with Claude versus ChatGPT is
140
:that it has a window of 100, 000
tokens, whereas ChatGPT, the 3,
141
:000 words equated to 4, 096 tokens.
142
:So it allows it to retain long
term contextual information that
143
:is similar to a human's memory.
144
:And then with Claude, there
are two versions, there's
145
:Claude and Claude Instant.
146
:And so Claude Instant is like the
lighter, less expensive option.
147
:So Claude's paid plan gets you unlimited
access to use it, as well as priority
148
:support and custom training data.
149
:Now let's talk about perplexity.
150
:So perplexity really focuses
on being transparent and
151
:being more accurate and safe.
152
:It can answer questions in real time and
explain search results with references.
153
:This is the part that I really
like because I can actually
154
:click on the references.
155
:I can see
156
:where the information was curated
from and is it actually relevant?
157
:Is it accurate?
158
:And it gives me a little bit more
peace of mind knowing that the
159
:information is coming from a source
that I would trust or not trust and
160
:then I know which route to take.
161
:And so Perplexity, they have a free
plan and they also have a paid plan that
162
:has integrations with new AI models.
163
:To summarize, ChatGPT is focused more
on generating text that is hard to
164
:distinguish from human written text.
165
:And CLOD is focused on retaining long
term contextual information and helping
166
:with different tasks pertaining to that.
167
:And Perplexity really focuses on more
on accuracy and blending conversational
168
:capabilities with the accuracy
of a well powered search engine.
169
:Alright, so now this is the part that
you guys have all been waiting for.
170
:I'm actually going to talk about What
type of prompts that you can use for
171
:ChatGPT to get certain things done.
172
:We're going to be going over some prompts
in the marketing category, the writing
173
:category, the business category, and the
productivity category, because I think
174
:those are all important things, right?
175
:So, for example, if you are working on
a social media campaign, you can say,
176
:generate a list of catchy headlines for
a social media campaign centered around.
177
:And then in the blank, you'd fill
in what the campaign is about and
178
:it can generate headlines for you.
179
:You can even be specific and say, generate
10 catchy headlines or five or 20,
180
:and it will actually do that for you.
181
:Then in the marketing
182
:realm as well, you can actually tell
it to create a script for A video that
183
:you're creating and you can say, I'm
creating a video for YouTube that is
184
:going to be around three minutes long.
185
:Please help me create a
script around blank topic.
186
:And then you can give a little bit of
feedback of what the topic, entails.
187
:What are some bullet points that
you're going to talk about and it
188
:will create the script for you.
189
:And what's interesting is it
can even tell you like, okay,
190
:what you should do in the video.
191
:So that's really, really amazing.
192
:Now I like to use it also for
planning my podcast episodes.
193
:So if I want to have a podcast episode
and let's say I'm bringing someone
194
:on the show, I know a little bit
about their industry and business,
195
:but I don't know everything.
196
:And I want to come up with a list
of questions so I can go to chat
197
:GPT and say Please act as a, so
keyword act as a podcast producer
198
:and come up with 10 questions that
I can ask my guest on my show.
199
:This is who they are.
200
:This is what they do.
201
:And it's going to do that.
202
:The other thing is I can tell it
to come up with ideas for podcast
203
:episodes based on What industry the
podcast is in so if it's like marketing
204
:I can say help me come up with You
know five podcast episode ideas.
205
:These are the kind of things that
I normally talk about on my shows.
206
:I can list them I can say SEO Marketing
strategy I can say AI Whatever it is
207
:I want and it's gonna come up with
titles and once it comes up with a
208
:title the next step would be to say
Okay, I like this particular title.
209
:Now, can you create a detailed outline
for talking points for this episode?
210
:And it's going to do that.
211
:And even when it does that, you
can tell it, you can dive deeper.
212
:So like every step that you take, you
can dive deeper and you can say, expand
213
:on this section, please expand on this.
214
:And it's going to do that.
215
:And there's certain things that
chat GPT is really good at.
216
:There are certain things that I would
say I'm not that impressed with.
217
:So it just depends.
218
:Right.
219
:But I will say for
podcast production ideas.
220
:And planning out your podcast
episodes, it is really on the ball.
221
:Amazing.
222
:So definitely try it out for that.
223
:All right.
224
:Let's suppose that you are going to
start a new business and you want
225
:to put together a business plan.
226
:So this is how you can do that.
227
:, first of all, you can tell chat GPT
outline the key components of a successful
228
:business plan for a startup and then
it can give you those key components.
229
:Then you can take that step further
and say, my startup is going to
230
:be about this type of business.
231
:We're going to be doing this.
232
:This is our mission.
233
:And all of these things and
it can literally help you
234
:write an entire business plan.
235
:You can take that business plan and you
can go to investors and can get investing.
236
:So it can really, really
do a lot of things.
237
:Now, another thing that you can
do is you can say, so here's a
238
:prompt I'm going to give you.
239
:You can say, explain the Pomodoro
technique and how it can be
240
:applied to improve work efficiency.
241
:Now another one that you can do is
let's say an example for writing You
242
:can say create a compelling narrative
for a crowdfunding campaign for an
243
:innovative clean energy project So that's
just one example Just really depends
244
:on What it is that you are trying to
work on and what industry it is, right?
245
:And you can even say for productivity, you
can say describe the Eisenhower matrix and
246
:how it can be used for prioritizing tasks.
247
:The other thing I like to use it for
is I like to research different writing
248
:styles, and I like to say what are some
popular writing styles that are compelling
249
:and Engaging and popular and it can give
me those writing styles and then I can
250
:say, write content in that writing style.
251
:The other thing that you can use Chat
GPT to help you solve So when you're not
252
:sure how to handle a particular situation,
let's say you have a difficult client.
253
:Let's say that someone is blowing
you off and you don't know how
254
:to get back in touch with them.
255
:You can tell chat GPT what your
situation is and it can help you
256
:craft an email that you can use or
just speaking points if you're going
257
:to be having a meeting in person.
258
:And it's really great
for all of those things.
259
:Personally, I love using
ChatGPT for research.
260
:There are things that I'm like, at the
last minute, I don't know the answer to.
261
:So it's like, Oh, even if it's like,
well, what to do , if your hand,
262
:, hurts, like, you know, what are, and
then it just can tell you, or you
263
:can say a home remedy for something.
264
:And it's going to give
you the information.
265
:Now.
266
:I'm going to put a big caveat out there.
267
:Is ChattGPT always going
to be 100 percent correct?
268
:Absolutely not.
269
:So I always say the disclaimer, fact
check, fact check, and fact check.
270
:And, you know what?
271
:Like, you still need to put your own...
272
:Human intelligence into using AI.
273
:So I always say like whenever you're
using chat GPT, whatever output
274
:it gives you I don't take that
output and ever use it directly.
275
:I always Put my own spin on it.
276
:I modify it I put my own human
intelligence into it because that's what
277
:it is AI is a tool right but as humans
you still have the intelligence, right?
278
:Because it's gonna depend on
the prompts that you give it.
279
:So the better your prompts are The
better output you're going to get, and
280
:that's just the way it goes right now.
281
:Another way you can use it for
marketing is you can say, develop a
282
:pitch for influencer collaboration
to promote a new fashion line, right?
283
:You can even use it to do research.
284
:You can say, I am a micro influencer,
and I'm looking for agencies that accept
285
:micro influencers for brand deals.
286
:Give me a list of agencies
and it's going to do that.
287
:And then of course you need to
check if they're still around and
288
:it's accurate, but it's going to
do all that information for you.
289
:Then the other thing you can use it
for is you can use it for crafting
290
:like social media posts, right?
291
:You can say, I want to write a post
about this narrative or I'm trying to
292
:tell a story, about this and I want to
share it on LinkedIn, can you improve it?
293
:And it's going to improve it.
294
:And the other cool thing I love is you
can even tell it to create social media
295
:posts with emojis and with hashtags.
296
:So this way.
297
:You can actually use it for Instagram.
298
:There's so much you can do with this.
299
:I actually helped a client write an
entire book that she put on Amazon.
300
:So there's so many different things
that you can do with it, but it's really
301
:knowing how to give it the right prompts
because if your prompts are very generic,
302
:your output is going to be generic.
303
:If your prompts are actually more thought
out and very detailed, you're going
304
:to get a much better output back from
chat GPT and not just from chat GPT.
305
:This goes for like any
other platform that you use.
306
:, for AI, if you prefer to use, let's say,
307
:let's say if you prefer to use perplexity,
even it's all about being clear in
308
:your messaging and what you want.
309
:,
so I hope you guys enjoyed this episode and we will see you guys

312

:episode on just all AI prompts
