The Glorious Life In The Son

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden mystery which God ordained before the world unto our glory.” (1 Cor. 2:7, KJV)

In the Christ-life, Warren Litzman explains over and over that the mystery of Christ, which Paul talks about throughout his epistles, is the truth that as believers united with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, our old lives fall away and our new life is Christ. Christ lives in us and we in Him. We are anchored to Christ. This truth has been hidden by God for 4,000 years. He opened the floodgates of His Love (“For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son.”) at the death of Christ and revealed this mystery only to the apostle Paul. Before Paul, the mystery was never fully revealed. In 1 Corinthians 2:7, Paul explains that God ordained Christ’s death and resurrection BEFORE the world was created. And He ordained only Paul to reveal this mystery to the world through his epistles. God never planned for us to be good Christians. He planned for Christ to be the new life of the believer.

He planned this for our glory, so we would understand and experience the glorious life in the Son, and so we will be ready to enter into our Father’s Kingdom as His bona fide sons and daughters.
