Shownotes

In this Society webinar, Blackhawk Network discussed the rise of payment solutions, examining how digital payments have been used and what changes in behaviour Covid-19 has influenced. Consumer behaviours are transforming when it comes to paying for goods and services. How and where people shop and how they pay are constantly in flux, and the patterns in these changes reveal a lot about how external factors affect our behaviours the world over. Varied tastes, daily lives and specific motivations come together to form trends that shape global industries. In this session, we looked at national attitudes around shopping, payments and gifts. One positive outcome of the pandemic is that the UK’s consumers are finally catching up with the concept of self-use Payment Solutions, driven by need rather than considering them as a nice to have option when engaging with their preferred brands. So, what impact does this have on the wider business world?
