Shownotes

The salient point of this discourse centers on the imperative directive from God to humanity: "Be fruitful." This command, articulated in Genesis, underscores the notion that productivity is not merely a suggestion but an expectation inherent in our existence. Before the advent of sin and strife, God delineated instructions that encompass not only spiritual dimensions but also economic principles, emphasizing stewardship, authority, and the establishment of boundaries. In contemporary society, many individuals beseech divine intervention for financial prosperity, yet they frequently neglect the foundational systems of increase that God has instituted. Throughout our exploration, we will elucidate how adhering to these divine instructions fosters not just material wealth but holistic stability and legacy, reinforcing the idea that genuine fruitfulness is a precursor to enduring prosperity. A profound dialogue unfolds as the speaker navigates through the critical divine instructions articulated in the initial chapters of Genesis, emphasizing their relevance not solely to spiritual life but also to economic prosperity and personal productivity. The central theme revolves around the imperative 'be fruitful,' which is posited as a foundational command from God that establishes the expectation of productivity in all aspects of life. The speaker elucidates that prior to the advent of sin and struggle, God provided clear directives aimed at fostering fruitfulness, thereby establishing a framework within which individuals can thrive. This exploration serves as a poignant reminder that many believers often seek financial blessings while neglecting the fundamental principles that govern prosperity, thus undermining their own potential for success. The discourse delves deeper into the implications of God's command for fruitfulness, illustrating that it encompasses not merely the act of achieving financial wealth but also the essential cultivation of character, discipline, and responsibility. The speaker challenges listeners to recognize that fruitfulness is not an innate characteristic but a divine mandate that requires deliberate action and a commitment to productive living. This critical examination leads to the assertion that individuals must confront the discrepancies between their aspirations for financial increase and the actions they take to realize those aspirations. By emphasizing the connection between diligence and divine favor, the speaker articulates that financial prosperity is often a byproduct of value creation and consistent effort. Moreover, practical insights are offered throughout the episode, as the speaker outlines actionable steps for individuals to cultivate a fruitful life. These include the establishment of daily routines, the pursuit of skill development, and the importance of completing tasks with excellence. The speaker accentuates that fruitfulness is not merely about the accumulation of wealth, but the manifestation of one's faith through tangible results. The dialogue culminates in a fervent prayer for divine empowerment to fulfill the command of fruitfulness, encapsulating the overarching message that adherence to God's instructions not only paves the way for personal prosperity but also contributes to the greater good of society.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, welcome to a series titled the Six Instructions God Gave a Man from Genesis 1 to Genesis 3.

Speaker A:

Now, to be clear, this is not bedtime Bible, this is blueprint Bible.

Speaker A:

Because before there was sin, before there was struggle, before there was sweat in the soil, God gave a man instructions.

Speaker A:

And those instructions were not just spiritual, they were economic.

Speaker A:

They were about fruitfulness, productivity, stewardship, authority and boundaries.

Speaker A:

Now many believers are praying for financial prosperity while ignoring God's original system for increase.

Speaker A:

But heaven does not fund confusion.

Speaker A:

Heaven funds obedience.

Speaker A:

And these messages, we're going to walk through the direct commandments God spoke.

Speaker A:

And we'll connect them to character, discipline, responsibility, excellence, and reverence.

Speaker A:

Because when God builds the man, God can bless the man.

Speaker A:

And when God blesses the man, it won't destroy him, it will establish him.

Speaker A:

So let's go back to the beginning and recover God's instructions for prosperity.

Speaker A:

And God blessed them.

Speaker A:

And God said unto them, be fruitful.

Speaker A:

Genesis 1, verse 28.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, the first thing God speaks over a man is not poverty.

Speaker A:

It's not lack, it's not survival.

Speaker A:

It's a blessing with a command, be fruitful.

Speaker A:

God's first instruction to man was productivity, not passivity.

Speaker A:

And this is the first message, Be fruitful.

Speaker A:

The instruction that creates capacity for prosperity.

Speaker A:

Now, let's be honest.

Speaker A:

Some people want money like they want WI fi.

Speaker A:

They want it to connect to automatically with no effort, no discipline, and no responsibility.

Speaker A:

They want breakthrough, but they don't want routine.

Speaker A:

They want increase, but they don't want instruction.

Speaker A:

But Genesis starts with a command that exposes all laziness.

Speaker A:

Be fruitful.

Speaker A:

Not be lucky, not be comfortable, not be admired.

Speaker A:

Be fruitful.

Speaker A:

If your life produces nothing, don't call it a season, call it a warning light.

Speaker A:

Our first point for the message is fruitfulness is a command, not a personality.

Speaker A:

Genesis 1:28 says, God blessed them.

Speaker A:

And God said, be fruitful.

Speaker A:

Notice the order.

Speaker A:

God blesses, then God commands.

Speaker A:

Meaning.

Speaker A:

Fruitfulness is not something you wait for, it's something you respond to.

Speaker A:

Fruitfulness is heaven's expectation that you multiply value, that you produce results, that you use what God gave you.

Speaker A:

And here's the hard truth.

Speaker A:

A lot of people are praying for financial increase, but their lives are not built to carry it.

Speaker A:

Because money doesn't just go to the most spiritual person.

Speaker A:

Money often goes to the most productive person.

Speaker A:

Proverbs 10:4 says, he becometh poor, that worketh with a slack hand, but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.

Speaker A:

So the question isn't Only do you have faith?

Speaker A:

The question is, do you have fruit?

Speaker A:

God doesn't reward intention.

Speaker A:

He rewards faithful production.

Speaker A:

Our second point for the message is fruitfulness means you turn potential into profit.

Speaker A:

Fruitfulness is potential becoming product, ideas becoming execution, skill becoming service, and prayer becoming action.

Speaker A:

Deuteronomy 8:18 says, God gives power to get wealth, but power must be applied.

Speaker A:

Power isn't just shouting, power is building.

Speaker A:

Some people have gifts, but no grind.

Speaker A:

Some people have calling but no consistency.

Speaker A:

Some people have dreams but no discipline.

Speaker A:

And then they blame the devil.

Speaker A:

No, no, no.

Speaker A:

Sometime you don't need deliverance, you need diligence.

Speaker A:

Jesus said in John 15:5, he that abideth in me the same beareth much fruit.

Speaker A:

Abiding produces fruit, not anxiety, not comparison, not excuses.

Speaker A:

Fruit.

Speaker A:

Fruitfulness is proof that your faith is alive.

Speaker A:

Our third point for the message is fruitfulness is a seed of financial prosperity.

Speaker A:

Now let's talk prosperity and make it plain.

Speaker A:

Financial prosperity is often the reward of value creation, consistent work, skill development, stewardship, credibility and trust.

Speaker A:

Fruitful people become valuable people, and valuable people usually attract opportunity.

Speaker A:

God told Adam, be fruitful, meaning increase your output, multiply your results.

Speaker A:

And this is the biblical scope too.

Speaker A:

When you're fruitful, you don't just get money.

Speaker A:

You get stability, you get peace, you get favor, you get influence and legacy capacity.

Speaker A:

Because fruitfulness reduces chaos.

Speaker A:

Bills get paid, debt gets attacked, family gets protected, generosity becomes possible.

Speaker A:

Fruitfulness turns survival into surplus and surplus into stewardship.

Speaker A:

Here are some applicable lessons that we can use.

Speaker A:

How do you obey?

Speaker A:

Be fruitful.

Speaker A:

1.

Speaker A:

Pick one area to produce measurable results.

Speaker A:

Work, business, ministry, health.

Speaker A:

Just pick one.

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

Build a daily discipline.

Speaker A:

Now fruit is grown daily, not yearly.

Speaker A:

3.

Speaker A:

Develop a high income skill.

Speaker A:

Increase your value, increase your earning power.

Speaker A:

4.

Speaker A:

Finish what you start.

Speaker A:

Incomplete work is unharvest fruit.

Speaker A:

5.

Speaker A:

Abide in God, prayer and obedience.

Speaker A:

Give your fruit favor and longevity.

Speaker A:

If you want a different harvest, you need a different habit.

Speaker A:

Now here's a warning.

Speaker A:

If you keep refusing fruitfulness, you will keep repeating lack not because God hates you, because God's system is being ignored.

Speaker A:

But here's the encouragement.

Speaker A:

God's command is also God's empowerment.

Speaker A:

He told you to be fruitful.

Speaker A:

He gave you the ability to produce.

Speaker A:

And when you start producing, doors open, favor rises and prosperity becomes a pattern, not a prayer request.

Speaker A:

God will bless what you build in obedience.

Speaker A:

Here are some questions for reflection.

Speaker A:

What am I doing daily that produces fruit?

Speaker A:

I can point to and where have I been?

Speaker A:

Busy, but not fruitful.

Speaker A:

If God increased my income tomorrow, would my habits sustain it.

Speaker A:

Let us pray.

Speaker A:

Father, in Jesus name, thank you for blessing us and commanding us to be fruitful.

Speaker A:

Forgive us for laziness, excuses and wasted time.

Speaker A:

Put discipline in us, put clarity in us.

Speaker A:

Help us to develop skills, produce results and steward response opportunities.

Speaker A:

And yes Lord, prosper the work of our hands.

Speaker A:

Increase the financial capacity so we can provide, build, give and leave legacy.

Speaker A:

Let our fruit remain and let our prosperity be clean, stable and God honoring in Jesus mighty name.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Now that's Message one.

Speaker A:

Be fruitful, the instruction that creates capacity for prosperity.

Speaker A:

And in our next message, multiply the instruction that turns fruit into financial increase.
