អស់រយៈពេល ៤០ ថ្ងៃ ក្រោយពី ការរស់ឡើងវិញរបស់ទ្រង់ ព្រះយេស៊ូវបានលេចមកឱ្យមនុស្សជាច្រើនឃើញ រួមទាំងក្រុមមនុស្សជាង ៥០០ នាក់ផងដែរ។ នៅស្រុកកាឡីឡេ ទ្រង់បានប្រទានមហាបេសកកម្មដល់ពួកអ្នកដើរតាមទ្រង់ គឺ៖ ចូរទៅបញ្ចុះបញ្ចូលឲ្យមានសិស្សនៅគ្រប់ជាតិសាសន៍ ដោយធ្វើបុណ្យជ្រមុជទឹកឱ្យពួកគេ និងបង្រៀនឱ្យពួកគេកាន់តាមបទបញ្ជារបស់ទ្រង់។

មុនពេលទ្រង់យាងទៅជាស្ថាពរ ទ្រង់បាននាំពួកគេទៅកាន់ភ្នំមួយនៅជិតក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹម ហើយសន្យាថា ពួកគេនឹងទទួលបានអំណាចពីព្រះវិញ្ញាណបរិសុទ្ធ ដើម្បីធ្វើជាអ្នកធ្វើបន្ទាល់របស់ទ្រង់នៅទូទាំងពិភពលោក។

ខណៈដែលទ្រង់កំពុងយាងឡើងទៅស្ថានសួគ៌ មានពពកមួយបានបាំងទ្រង់ពីភ្នែករបស់ពួកគេ។ មានទេវតាពីររូបបានលេចមកឯពួកសិស្សដែលកំពុងសម្លឹងមើលនោះ ដោយសន្យាថា ព្រះយេស៊ូវនឹងយាងត្រឡប់មកវិញ ក្នុងរបៀបដូចគ្នាដែលទ្រង់បានយាងទៅដែរ។

បន្ទាប់មក ពួកអ្នកដើរតាមទ្រង់បានត្រឡប់ទៅក្រុងយេរូសាឡឹមវិញ ហើយប្រមូលផ្តុំគ្នានៅក្នុងបន្ទប់ខាងលើ ដោយថ្វាយខ្លួនក្នុងការអធិស្ឋាន ខណៈដែលពួកគេរង់ចាំព្រះវិញ្ញាណ ដែលបានសន្យានោះ»។

Jesus Returns to Heaven

(Matthew 28:16–20; Luke 24:50–53; Acts 1:1–14)

For forty days following His resurrection, Jesus appeared to many, including a group of over 500 people. In Galilee, He gave His followers the Great Commission: to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching His commands.

Before His final departure, He led them to a hill near Jerusalem and promised they would receive power from the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses across the globe.

As He ascended into heaven, a cloud hid Him from their sight. Two angels appeared to the staring disciples, promising that Jesus will return in the same way He left.

The followers then returned to Jerusalem, gathered in an upstairs room, and devoted themselves to prayer as they waited for the promised Spirit.
