Robyn Stevens; got her start in Race Walking in 1996 996 and was the undefeated U20 National Champion and competed at the 2000 and 2002 U20 World Championships (Santiago Chile and Kingston Jamaica), as well as a nationally ranked distance runner -- 4th at the 1999 U20 USA National Championships (Texas) 5km RUN while also the defending National Champion earlier that morning in the race walk event. In 1999 Robyn became the first and only U20 USA race walker to win gold at the U20 Pan American Games (Florida). What makes Robyn's Journey so monumental isn't just her accomplishments in sports defeating her opponents and making it to the Olympics. She has defeated some of her own personal challenges along the way, after overcoming an Achilles Injury and Eating disorder for nearly 10 years. Robyn went onto compete in the Olympic Trials in 2016; after taking a hiatus for 12 years. In 2020 Robyn competed in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and holds the Title for the number one Race Walker for the USA.
