Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Well, hello and welcome back to Healing In Spite of Me, I'm Dr. Elisa Peevy, and today again, I'm joined by my good friend Jody. And we're here to discuss love, everything About love.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Yes. So we've got a lot to talk about because this is one of the biggest emotions, if not the biggest emotion that we feel as human beings. So it's a big topic.

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yes, it is. It is. It's a very important emotion along with several others that are very important, but it's very, very important not just because we want it and most of us seek it in some way, and we can't wait to get home to those that love us. There's a huge aspect of that. It feels good, but there are also other emotions that we can feel that don't always cause us to feel good. And depending on what emotions we're feeling most of the time, whether it's love or whether it's something like anger, it can actually have a huge impact on our health, overall health,

Jodie O'Brien (:

Which is amazing if you think about that, that love, anger, joy, sadness, it all can drastically affect the way that we physically move in the world. And as I was researching for this episode and thinking about the questions that I wanted to ask you, one of the main ones that stuck out to me was your belief in quantum physics and how that even comes into the realm of our feelings. How does quantum physics get all up in our feelings?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yeah, that's actually a really, really great question. Quantum physics has really everything to do with our emotions, and it has, depending on the emotions that we're holding onto quantum physics, will dictate what emotions we're going to be feeling most of the time. So let me kind of explain that just a little bit. I was like, what the heck is she saying? So essentially our limbic system, which is this gland or organ I guess in the brain, is responsible for interpreting all the emotions and input that we get from our environment. So if we have something occurred that is, let's say, traumatic or fearful or something that caused you to be, what occurs is your limbic system sends signals really to the entire body and it's saying to the body based off of those signals, especially if it's anger, fear, et cetera, and it's shutting everything down.

(:

It's actually kind of rendering everything useless, which is essentially like the fight or flight. When we're feeling these emotions that are so low, our body quantum physics, what happens is it's actually putting out there into the universe, it's asking for more moments, more things that might incite those same feelings, especially if it's a feeling that has become common in your body if it's a low emotion. So if you have a very high emotion like love that we're feeling on a regular basis and feeling throughout our body, it actually opens up everything. Our DNA actually starts to unwind and we become more balanced, we become more harmonious, and we actually are able to better move and live and better able to just function in the day-to-day world.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Well, that's what I was going to ask you about because our DNA can literally begin to coil more tightly if we feel a certain type of emotion, whether it be a trauma response to a scenario, our DNA actually is affected by that, and it seems almost like a muscle memory. So if we get into a scenario that's uncomfortable, it's a trauma response or DNA coiling, and so explain to me and maybe our audience, how is it, and maybe the word is manifest, how do we make sure not only with great therapy, but how can we make sure that we're manifesting abundance and abundant love instead of accidentally manifesting a trauma response?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yeah, that's a really, really great question. So I mean, there's a couple of different things that we can do here of course. One is if there has been a traumatic event that has occurred in your life, whether it was a car accident or maybe it's something abuse of some kind, these moments, like you mentioned Jody, are they build memory. And so that emotion, that trauma can actually, one, it can sit in our bodies, but it can also sit in our ORIC field. And I know I kind of mentioned that actually at the second episode and I'm just going to explain it really quick. Our energy field or our ORIC field goes out from our body about five to eight feet and is the energy component to our physical body. Anytime we have trauma, an accident, something that has been big, it can actually hold itself in our field and we can discover that through a series of vibrations and forks and other things, we actually have the technology to be able to do this.

(:

So when we're wanting to rid ourselves of the emotion that comes from that trauma, we actually want to go in and shake it loose. In a sense. We want to get it out of our field so that we are not sitting in that emotion anymore because it's actually bringing us down and making us more susceptible to illness and more susceptible to being sick and more susceptible to bringing and creating more of that low emotion that we don't want. We actually need to work on getting it to leave our field so that we don't have to have it impact us anymore in such a negative way.

Jodie O'Brien (:

And talk to us a little bit about that or field and the frequencies found in different people because like you said, a negative emotion can impact our physical health and the way that science has discovered this and why this isn't known more worldwide and in every home. I have no idea, but we have actual numbers that you can put in place to describe some of these lower frequency emotions. That's fascinating. Elisa, how come that isn't common practice with every doctor?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yes, yes, you're exactly right. So there is a scale, it's called David Hawkins Scale of Consciousness, and he created this using muscle testing, which is again, very science-based in terms of our bodies knowing really what we need mentally, energetically. And so he created this scale of consciousness that puts joy and love and peace, these really amazing emotions that are very high frequency. He explained how when you're in these emotions, our ability to rise above and actually stay out of imbalance, stay out of getting sick, stay out of disharmony is quite amazing. And he also put the emotions of fear and shame and anger and all these other emotions that are low emotions down at the bottom. And what he found really is that people who consistently stayed in high frequency emotions such as love and peace, which is really above 500, they were healthy, they were able to really function optimally and did not have all of the day-to-day crap get in their way.

(:

Instead, were able to get through their job and do the things that they needed to as far as their families and still feel like they have the energy or had the energy that they needed to do. Whereas if we're living below 200, according to this scale, and we'll show pictures of this, what we find is that people are not able to function optimally and we're living in a place where everything kind of seems out of chaos, it's completely out of whack, it's completely chaotic, and we are not functioning optimally, and that is where illness starts to come in. Then there is another guy, his name is Bruce Tanyo, and he actually built a machine that tests the frequency of us at our optimum health and was able to find that when we stay above a certain frequency, we don't get sick. And when we bring those low emotions in, that is actually when we fall into levels where we can and do fall sick. They are that important to our overall health and honestly really should be one of the cornerstones of how we are treating people and how we are obtaining a history and how we are helping them get better.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Fascinating. And so since this is the love episode, let's talk about the positive stuff. Let's talk about how love is off the charts when it comes to love and joy and peace and goodness. I mean those emotions when you sit in those emotions day to day, I mean, we all know people like this, right? They operate at a very high frequency and they're amazing to be around. They are. How do you make sure that you entangle yourself in these emotions and stay at a high frequency? Because I'm sure that you've treated people who maybe you guys go through this, maybe you've done some therapy with them or what have you, and then you want them to keep it up, keep that high frequency emotion up. What do you tell your patients?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yeah, so I mean, it's something that we really have to be consistent with doing, right? We're inundated from our environment with moments or events, things that occur that aren't always pleasant and aren't always going to make us feel good. So it really is important that we're doing something consistently, but we can do some pretty amazing therapies. Even for something you've had a massive car accident like you mentioned, Jody, we oftentimes will we create that memory when we have an accident and it can kind of be triggered and can come back and can be very difficult. And so going in and doing therapies that can specifically look at that trauma and can help us clear the emotional congestion that occurred because of that trauma, whether it's out of our field or if it's just in our body itself, is going to be massively important. So that's one part.

(:

You talk about the day-to-day things that just consistently keep our fields up, that AO frequency scanner that has the inner voice that is a massive part of that as well, or not just a massive part, I'm sorry, but that's a therapy that people can use that's very important. Music, we talked about that at the last episode, depending what music you're listening to, those frequencies can actually go in from a vibrational standpoint and can break up and can clear a lot of that congestion from our field can help clear that trauma from our body. It's quite amazing how powerful some of these things are. Tibetan bowl therapy, crystal bowl therapy, the forks, the vibrational tuning forks, they all have a specific frequency that can really help clear the body for optimum health.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Elisa, do you think that the reason why Valentine's Day is in February is because around the country, every human citizen is in the midst of a winter blue, right? It is snowing to beat the band. It is frigid cold day after day after day here in the Midwest, and I know back east they've had consistent weather too. It seems like every winter maybe we get into a little bit of a fog or maybe we know people that experience winter blues and they use light therapy to help them kind of get out of their funk, but I don't think it's any mistake that Valentine's Day is stuck right there in the middle of February because that's what we need is almost like an IV of love, an vy of joy. Do you have any advice for patients who might be going through that this week?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yes, yes. I mean, there's all kinds of things that we can do that are putting ourselves in that place of just feeling that love and joy. I mean, even a meditation where you're sitting down and closing your eyes and you are consciously choosing to fill that emotion come into your body. Maybe it's through visualization. You're creating a moment that you remembered where you felt that love. Maybe you're looking at yourself in the mirror, and I know it sounds silly, but maybe you're looking at yourself in the mirror and you're just like, man, I love my nose. Look at that. It's the best nose ever. Or maybe it's the eyes or you're finding something about you that you love and you start to say that and you start to feel the emotion of that. That is where your power comes in truly manifesting and bringing about more of that love.

(:

I mean, it's in the Bible. Jesus even talks about it. You ask for it and you feel the emotion. You surround yourself with it, and you bring in more of that. And so that meditation is an easy way. The inner voice is another way. Good music that brings joy and makes you feel good is another way. Telling people that you simply love them. Giving hugs is an incredible way of bringing oxytocin, feeling good, bringing that emotion of love into just a hug for longer than 10 seconds. It's incredible what you can do, and it doesn't necessarily need to cost any money. You don't have to get the flowers or the chocolate, although that's awesome. I love that stuff, but it's not necessary.

Jodie O'Brien (:

So as a doctor, it's so fun to get to pick your brain every week because one of the things I want to ask you is about a grateful practice because isn't that one way on our own? Not with our spouse, not with anybody else, where we can kind of pick apart what is it that we're grateful for. Do you have a practice that you do every day or a couple times a week that helps you stay grounded?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

I do. I very, very much do. I don't do it every day, but my space is typically my shower. I will usually two or three times a week, I'll light my smoke, my pal paleo santo. I'm going to just crush that. It's terrible or my, it's like sage. Yeah, it just smells amazing. It just is this incredible wood from India and I put my oils on and I get in the shower and I just let the water run and I kind of visualize. It's clearing and cleansing the aura. It's clearing any energies that I may have picked up or just kind of feeling if I'm feeling drained, just really I'm picturing empowering me. I'm picturing it purifying me, I'm picturing it, giving me energy and light and love, and it's amazing. I mean, it really is to feel that what it does for you, you feel like you're not alone. You feel like there's someone there if you needed something, and I think it is very important to create those feelings of feeling good on a regular basis so that they become more regular and they become more happenstance and they become more a part of just who we are.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Well, that soul work that you do on a regular basis, I'm sure that you can feel it even in your closest relationship. We're talking about love, so if we talk about our spouses after you have a moment like that spiritually, I'm sure that when you come to Brian, you come as a different person, I would think.

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yes, yes, definitely 100%. And my kids would say that too. Since I started meditating, I am a different person. I feel like I am less reactive. I'm a little bit more calm. I don't always just take everything and run with it, which was I think a big part of what I did a lot. I take it in more. It's completely different. It has changed me in profound ways just from going in and doing meditations where I'm trying to be in that space of calm and peace and everything else. It has a major impact. And my work too, honestly, I do more and I do better at work. I got my things more in a row. I feel less stressed.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Is breath work a part of that for you as well?

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yes. I love breath work. I wish that I could say that I do a lot on my own for myself, and I do a lot of breathwork on my own, but it's not as often as I would like. I typically wait until I am in a group or breathwork class or something where I can do an awesome work that just is super powerful. They add music and you've got vibration and people are walking around and spritzing you with smells. I mean, it's a little bit different than if I'm just doing it myself and having to continue the breath, but it is so powerful. It is very, very grounding and the connection and things that you see. Honestly, the breath when we breathe like that, it actually increases our levels of DMT in the body, which are like psychedelic. They can bring you a lot of visions and you can see things and can clear very powerful therapy to just help clear and process things.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Some days I just want to nestle in like your purse. I just want to get in your bag. You can just carry me around. Because the reason why I mentioned breath work was that was something that was recommended to me just this week is to try to do it twice a week. Just twice a week, Joe, just breathe. And it wasn't anything like the breath work you're talking about, right? It was breathe in, hold it, breathe out slower, do it again. And it's such a challenge for busy people to slow down, slow our roll and breathe. I have a friend who I once went to the doctor and she's like, I don't know what's wrong with me. I mean, my stomach hurts. I'm miserable. And the doctor said, when was the last time you took a deep breath? And she couldn't remember. And so it's funny because a practice like you're speaking of that's so spiritual and that could be so cool, even just breathing, even just intentionally taking moments of breathing, that practice for me has been such an act of self-love. And I think a lot of times that's what this time of the year is for. It's not just to get the roses and go out to dinner and kissy kissy,

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Although that is fun.

Jodie O'Brien (:

Yes, so fun, so fun. But it is to try to find and dig deep and find that self-love because I think it's easy. It's a little bit of an avoidance to go outside and you get to have this wonderful play in the trees and dig in the garden and enjoy the plants and the butterflies and all of that is such an expression of almost God's love to us, but the self-love dude, in February, we got to dig deep.

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yes.

Jodie O'Brien (:

So I love these ideas that you give because it's easy to forget. It's easy to forget about the AO frequency and all the things, but we can't forget to take the time to love ourselves because it seems to me what you're saying is that these acts of self-love and self-healing, they actually equal physical healing. I mean, there's a frequency that one of the doctors that you cite talks about there's a frequency for cancer, there's a frequency when people smoke cigarettes. There's a frequency in your body when there's harmful things going on and harmful emotions that really affect the physical outcome of your life.

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Yeah, no, you're exactly, you're exactly right. And what you were mentioning there as far as the cigarette, this Bruce Satio guy found that someone, when they'd smoke a cigarette, their frequency would actually drop about 10 to 15 points depending on the person. And the frequency it would drop to was the frequency around where cancer started. Now, their frequency didn't just always stay there. It would come back up depending on what the person would do, but depending on if we allow ourselves to stay in such a low frequency all the time, we predispose ourselves to all kinds of medical problems and conditions. And what was found too is that the fear, those low emotions are down there in the same frequency as cancer and where our bodies really just don't function optimally. And so it really is very important for us as humans to be as healthy as we can to do what we can, to feel good, to feel good, to truly love ourselves, to take the time and do those things every day that do make a difference. And I know that being busy, it's hard. That's why I do it in my shower, and I don't do it every day, but you just take a few minutes and suddenly you are noticing how much better or a little bit easier life has gone because of those few minutes that you're taking for yourself.

Jodie O'Brien (:

So good. Such goodness. Well, Elisa, thank you so much for giving us some more daily nuggets of freedom and life. It's such a joy every time I talk to you because it feels like love, and I know that that's your mission. I know your mission is to just bring more love and light into the world. And so thanks for being my friend, and thanks for being one of those people.

Dr. Elisa Peavey (:

Thank you. And it is true. I just want everyone to feel good and to be healthy and to thrive. So yeah, thank you so much. Thank you for joining me here, and we're going to talk about some really cool stuff in the next episode as well.
