Speaker A: is favorite home projects for: Speaker B:So the problem was is we bought this from a guy that owns arcades.
Speaker B:Nice guy, no problem there.
Speaker B:But he said the side art wasn't on them.
Speaker B:And I went, okay, the side art is on the side of those stand up arcade style video games.
Speaker B:Some yahoo, probably some kid decided one day to paint over flat black the sides of those games.
Speaker B:So he goes, no art on the sides.
Speaker B:I'm like, okay, they must done some work on the box or whatever.
Speaker B:I get it, thought it was strange.
Speaker B:So I got it home after buying them, looked at it in the light and I could see the outline of the stuff below it.
Speaker B:So what I did is I took a bunch of different.
Speaker A:In the second hour, Eric G.
Speaker A:Gives you his top 10 questions.
Speaker A:He would ask a contractor before you sign the contract.
Speaker B:I want the contractor to come out and go that's 120 to $150,000 project.
Speaker B:And you go, okay, I can only spend 140.
Speaker B:Contractor goes, all right, I can do you a detailed bid.
Speaker B:It's going to cost you 400 bucks but I'll give that money to you and put it towards your deposit when you order it.
Speaker B:That to me at this point is fair because they're going to have to take a workday and itemize everything out, spend the time, put it down, to give you a hard estimate for this project.
Speaker B:Now they can give you allowances.
Speaker B:They can go down and say kitchen cabinetry, $32,000.
Speaker B:You see what I mean?
Speaker B:And put some specs in.
Speaker B:This is, this is black walnut flat slab veneer.
