Transcripts

Today I have a microdose body scan meditation for you

to help you tune into the body for this practice. You may wish to be seated. You can even do this one lying down. So take a moment here to settle in and get comfortable. If it feels safe to do so, you may wish to close your eyes. Of course, knowing that you're always at choice, you can leave them open or have a soft gaze

and we'll drop in. Let's begin with a gentle breath in, in

a full releasing breath out.

As you bring your awareness to the top of your head, that beautiful crown,

and simply notice what you sense, what do you feel,

and see if you can breathe into each part of your body.

And now you can allow your attention to settle around your forehead, around the area of your nose and jaw,

simply noticing what you sense without any judgment. You're simply tuning in.

And now with each breath out, allow your attention and awareness to drift lower in the body. Now, placing your attention on your neck and shoulders.

Noticing your arms and your hands, what do you sense within the muscles and perhaps what's right there on the surface of the skin.

Now you can offer your attention to your chest and belly.

Now you can allow your awareness to settle around the hips and your thighs and knees,

and now traveling into the calves and your ankles and feet.

There's nothing to change. There's nothing to fix. Simply notice what is present in the body. What might it be whispering to you?

The body has carried. You through so much offer it a moment of gratitude, of appreciation, even when it doesn't work as well as we want it to. And in these last moments, offer your awareness now to the full body. As you slowly flutter your eyes open and wiggle your fingers and toes, you can even give the body a little stretch.

Thanks for practicing with me and putting a beautiful ripple into the world.
