She explains how to distinguish fear-based ego responses from soul-aligned choices, using questions about comfort versus resistance, alignment with vision, and what action is possible, and outlines a process for building courage by identifying which ego “part” is afraid, speaking with it, and seeking support from a friend, community, therapist, or coach. Eva and Nicole discuss perfectionism as a common protective pattern, and Eva describes “parts work” steps for recognizing how perfectionism fails to protect, assigning a new supportive role to that part, and taking imperfect action.
In a coaching-style segment on “finding the silver lining,” Nicole shares experiences of childhood sexual abuse and the pain of not being believed when reporting it, connecting it to her mission of creating Sovereign to address the silencing of women, including later experiences of feeling silenced and systemic mistrust.
