But I threw it all away because it was a little - well, a lot - self-serving.

might have heard me say before.

So here it goes.

I'm shutting down Podcast Pontifications for a lot of

reasons, but they all stem to this.
Speaker:
Back to this?
Speaker:
For this?
Speaker:
Whatever.
Speaker:
Podcasting has outgrown my ability to keep up with all the changes.
Speaker:
And that's something that's never, ever going to slow down, is it?
Speaker:
So I'm doing the only logical thing to do when an industry gets this big and
Speaker:
you're one person, I'm nicheing down.
Speaker:
You know that thing I suggest you do all the time on your show?
Speaker:
I've been talking about it for years now.
Speaker:
Yeah.
Speaker:
The niche I'm picking is fiction podcasting.
Speaker:
No, not as a maker.
Speaker:
I'm, I'm not a fiction podcaster.
Speaker:
And certainly not as a pundit.
Speaker:
I'm not gonna tell fiction podcasters what they should be thinking about.
Speaker:
More a curator and an enabler.
Speaker:
And for those that skip the odd email that I sent out a couple of
Speaker:
weeks over the weekend, I'm helping people who love fiction audio to
Speaker:
discover great fiction podcasts.
Speaker:
Not only just great fiction podcasts, but great fiction podcasts that are complete.
