OVERCOMING ADVERSITY: JOCY’S STORY, PART 1

Sometimes, it can be overwhelming when we find ourselves struggling in relationships, with finances, or with a very hard diagnosis. We may feel like we are not able to cope with the situation, and this is where the strength in God comes in. God is good even when our circumstances are not and will lead us on our path to healing. The moments of despair can be incredibly difficult to handle, but it is important to remember that God is always there next to us and will provide the comfort and strength that we need to go through the storm. Don’t let the fear and worry blind you from hearing the voice of God and seeing how you can overcome, surrender and release your control to your maker, and he will lead you on your path.

Join the conversation with me, Lisa, and my friend Jocy as she shares her journey juggling her daughter’s diagnosis and operations while handling her own cancer diagnosis and how she was able to find peace and comfort in the lord to overcome. Jacy is a wife, a mum to two teenagers, a Special Ed teacher, an early childhood specialist, and my survivor sister.
