I will first present a brief review of the different ways of expressing concentration, define what ratio strength is and discusses how ratio strength should be interpreted. I will then discuss how to convert percent strength to ratio strength and vice-versa, demonstrate how to calculate the ratio strength of a pharmaceutical preparation and provide three strategically selected example problems.
