Thanksgiving is the most American of holidays.

For one day, our country pauses and does something rare.
Speaker A:
We sit, we pass dishes and remember who was missing and who's with us.
Speaker A:
The world outside might feel divided, and no doubt they are.
Speaker A:
But our tables remind us that there's still room to meet in the middle.
Speaker A:
Especially for purple people like me.
Speaker A:
It's not about turkey.
Speaker A:
It's about taking inventory of your life, realizing that even in the hard times, there are some bright spots.
Speaker A:
And don't leave out the football.
Speaker A:
