Stand-up comic, host, writer and podcaster Nef Johnson joins Mikey and Bub in studio for a live streamed episode. The Strange Crew saw Nef's stand-up set when he featured for Ryan Singer back in January at The Attic Comedy Club in Columbus, OH. His set was fire and we fell out of our chairs! Ryan introduced us to him after the show and knew we had to get him on the pod! Nef's journey to stand-up comedy has been filled with tragedy, loss, triumph and strange happenings. He hails from Columbus, OH with ties to Chicago and has the most inclusive showcase every Thursday at The Attic, Columbus’s intimate and Ohio’s pro-comedian club for the in crowd.

His performances extend beyond local venues to Las Vegas and either of the coasts. Opening for names like Ian Fidance, Mark Gregory, Tony Woods, Maddie Smith, Aaron Berg, and Dave Chappelle, Nef gains much of his material through traveling and personal life experiences. A regular guest on numerous podcasts, he shares his thoughts on hot topics in a blue, anecdotal comedic style and is more transparent than your best friend.
