Women who have never been diagnosed with breast cancer, yet know they are at a very high risk of the disease through genetic screening or testing, and have options to help reduce her risk of the disease down the road. MUSC medical student Savannah Campbell tested positive for a mutation of the breast cancer gene BRCA1 and underwent a prophylactic double mastectomy to reduce her chance of breast cancer in the future.
