Shownotes
The subway always affected Paula Stevens and she had to stand back from the edge of the platform far away from the shining tracks and the train roaring in out of the black because what she really wanted to do was throw herself under the train. The light on the shining track hypnotised her like the eyes on a snake. And that evening full of cold the last person she wanted to be pushed next to on the train was Ruth Carney from her Academy acting days.
