Shownotes

“Our God will never forsake us. He has a hedge of protection surrounding us, always walking with us and filling the gaps inside us.”- Wesleyne

Word of the Day:

"No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you."-Joshua 1:5

Summary

In this episode, we explore the profound assurance that God will never leave us or forsake us, as emphasized in both Joshua 1:5 and Hebrews 13:5.

This promise signifies that no matter our actions or circumstances, God's presence remains constant.

Forsaking ourselves through self-condemnation is not a reflection of God’s stance towards us.

He is always present to support, guide, and celebrate with us, despite our flaws and struggles.

Understanding this truth helps us distinguish between God's voice and the enemy’s lies, reinforcing that our worth and relationship with God are secure.

Takeaways

- When feeling defeated, remember that God is not a God of defeat.

- Negative emotions are tools of the enemy and should not be embraced.

- Letting go of control and surrendering to God allows Him to work in our lives.

- Fully surrendering to God means taking our hands off the situation and trusting Him completely.

- Continually release worries and anxieties to God, trusting that He will take care of them.

no one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you. Joshua 1 verses 5.

Wesleyne (:

He will never leave you or forsake you. He means this so much that not only does he say it in Joshua, he also says it in Hebrews 13 verses 5, keep your life free from the love of money and be content with what you have because God has said, never will I leave you, never will I forsake you. What does that mean?

What do those words specifically mean? When God tells us he will never leave us or forsake us, that means no matter what we do, no matter how we act, no matter how we operate, God will always be there for us. He will be there to hold us, to keep us, to stand with us, to dry our tears, to celebrate us.

And sometimes we forsake ourselves. Sometimes we condemn ourselves. We say, I'm not good enough. I'm not worthy. I shouldn't have this. I shouldn't be doing that. But God says, I'm never ever leaving you and I am not forsaking you. So in those moments, in those times when you feel like God may be

Telling you that you're not enough that you're not doing a good job that you're not doing well That's not God. That's the enemy getting inside of your head and speaking lies to you Our God will never forsake us. What does forsake mean? forsake means condemn That's what forsake means We have a God that is a loving God. He doesn't

always endorse or agree with the things that we're doing, but he's never going to say, I don't want to be in relationship with you. I don't want you to speak to you. He always loves us. God will never leave us nor forsake us. He has a hedge of protection surrounding us. He is always walking with you.
