Don Van Stavern
As the bass player for S.A. Slayer during the early 1980s, he earned his
crown as Texas metal royalty. From there, he moved on to Narita, Riot,
Pitbull Daycare, Evil United and Alcatrazz. Join us as we sit down with
Donnie Van Stavern to discuss the legendary Slayer vs. Slayer concert in
San Antonio, his “brotherhood” with Riot guitarist Mark Reale and the
