In Verse 12, Paul says he thanks the Lord who enables him. Paul recognizes that his calling into ministry and his ability to do ministry come from the Lord. It is not his strength, his power or his wisdom.

endunamoo (ἐνδυναμόω, 1743), “to render strong” (en, “in,” dunamis, “power”), is translated “enabled” in 1 Tim. 1:12, more lit., “instrengthened,” “inwardly strengthened,” suggesting strength in soul and purpose[1]
