Shownotes
I'm a self-taught astrologer — one beginner self-study class, no mentors, no formal lineage. After that, just reading books, listening to podcasts, and having thousands of chart conversations with anyone willing to talk. That blog turned into this podcast because there was no one around me who understood what I was talking about. For years, I measured myself against what I thought a master astrologer should be — formal training, credentials, an earned lineage. Then something shifted. Most of the astrologers people actually consider masters were self-taught too. Know thyself. Balance your energy.
Takeaways
- Years of measuring against an imagined "proper" credentialed path gave way once the realization landed that most respected master astrologers were also self-taught.
- Building a system from books, conversations, and independent study rather than inheriting a formal lineage is a legitimate path, not a lesser one.
