Thank you all so much for taking out the time to listen to this episode.

Well, we are going to jump right into this episode.

If you did not get to listen to last week's episode, I encourage you to go listen to it because we talked about surrendering to God.

And that is exactly what I am doing with this podcast.

I am surrendering it to him and doing exactly what he tells me to do.

So today we are going to talk about the garbage Man.

Now keep on listening to understand why.

The garbage man, he was coming to pick up our trash.

And it's amazing how God can speak to you through anything.

So as he was picking up the trash, it was like he was able to pick up our trash.

He picked up our neighbor's trash, and he went to pick up so many other people's trash.

And the thing is, as he picked this trash up, it can never be returned to me.

So again, as the garbage man picks up the trash, it can't come back to you.

So just as that happens, we have to allow God to pick up all of our cares and imagine he is picking them up and he's carrying them away and you no longer have access to it.

We have to live that way.

When the thought comes back, say, no, I gave that care over to God.

I gave that anxiety over to Him.

I gave that burden to Him.

I gave those insurance insecurities over to him and he took them away.

And you are now free from that.

And the thing we have to do is I say that we go and find a scripture to attach to this.

And as we do that, we have to allow it to become our reality.

Now, that care that you gave to God, that burden that you gave to him, the anxiety you gave to him is no longer with you.

The more you meditate on God's word, the more you're distancing yourself from those cares, from those worries.

You are distancing yourself from them as you meditate on the word of God.

And the more you will live out that truth and live in the freedom that comes with His Word.

Now, the thing is, God can handle all of my troubles.

He can handle all of your troubles.

He can handle the person besides you troubles, because he is equipped for that.

The thing is, we're not equipped for it.

So we have to give it over to him.

Because if we keep it, we're going to be burned down.

So again, give those cares over to him and as you give it to him, fill yourselves up with the promises of God.

Spend time in his presence and allow him to minister to you.

Now, the two scriptures that he gave to me during this time was 1st Peter 5 and 7 and it says, casting all your cares, all your anxieties, all your worries and your concerns once and for all on him.

For he cares about you with deepest affection and watches over you very carefully.

That's such an amazing and precious thing that we have a Heavenly Father that loves us just that much that he desires to take all of those cares, all of those anxieties away from us.

The thing is, we have to give it to him.

And as we give it to him, we cannot pick it back up.

It says, come to me all who are weary in heavenly burden by religious rituals that provide no peace, and I will give you rest, refreshing your souls with salvation.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, following Me as my disciple, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest, renewal, blessed, quiet for your souls.

For My yoke is easy to bear and my burden is light.

So again we have to give those cares, give those anxieties, give the those insecurities, give them over to God because again, he can handle them.

We were not created to handle them.

Now one thing I encourage you to do is go write all of your cares out to God, ball them up.

And physically go throw it in the.

Trash can as a sign that you.

Are letting it go.

You're letting go of those things.

And if you need to go put.

Them in the dumpster, go outside to the outside trash can where it's even.

More out of your sight.

I encourage you to do what it.

Takes to get rid of those cares, get rid of those anxieties.

After that, I encourage you spend time with God and again find promises from His Word.

God has given us His Word to help, to sustain us, to help us.

Get through challenging seasons.

He has given us the Word to build us up.

Even when things are going well, we.

Have to continuously feast on His Word because His Word sustains us.

So again, stand on his promises.

Instead of those cares that you were not designed to carry, you were designed.

To give them over to him because.

He loves you just that much to where he doesn't want you to carry them.

He does not want you to be burdened down.

So allow the Holy Spirit to show you the way out, even go a step further and ask him, God, what scriptures do I need to stand on in this season for this situation.

And as he reveals that to you, make sure you write it down.

Take note of what he is saying to you.

Now here are some scriptures I encourage you to pray during this time as you're asking God and seeking him.

Psalms 32:8.

It says, I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go.

I will counsel you who are willing to learn with my eye upon you.

So again, God desires to talk to us.

He desires to teach us, but we have to be willing to listen.

He will teach you all things and he will help you remember everything that I have told you.

So again, go to God, give those cares over to him and ask Him, God, what do I need to do during this season?

Again, have an ear to hear cuz God desires to listen to you.

He desires to talk to you.

Now through this process, you're going to have to combat every thought that arises.

Cuz sometimes those cares, those anxieties, those insecurities, they may come back.

But the thing is, God has given us his word to combat the enemy and we have to go through the process.

Allow God's word to renew your mind daily.

And remember, cast all those thoughts down that are not of God.

We have to submit to God, resist the enemy, so the enemy will flee away from us.

Now we have to be consistent in following the steps that God gives us.

One thing that I remember that my pastor has said so many times, and it sticks with me, is that there's consistency in your breakthrough.

When you are consistent at doing what God's telling you to do, that's when the breakthrough happens.

So again, don't allow those cares to get the best of you.

Do not grow weary and well doing whatever God is telling you to do.

Keep doing it until he releases you from it.

Now I want you to imagine if.

We did not have anyone picking up the garbage.

How would it smell?

How would your yard look?

It would be a mess.

So it is vital that we have the garbage man to come and take our trash.

And just like that, it is so vital that we allow Jesus into our lives and we allow him to to take those cares, take those anxieties away from us.

Because if we didn't, we would be burdened down.

We would be possibly even get sick just by those cares and those anxieties that we're carrying, we will have a stinking attitude, I'm sure, because we're not equipped to carry those burdens, equipped to carry those anxieties.

So again, you have to give them over to God.

You have to give those burdens to him each and every time they come up.

Because one thing about it is the more we give it over to him, the more it's not with us.

So again, give it to him daily.

And one thing about the day that I saw the garbage man pick up the trash.

At first it was looking like it wasn't all going in and I was like, hm, what's happening here?

But the thing is, it took some moments for all of it to be empty out.

And as he pushed the things down, more went in.

So again, we have to go through the process.

We have to allow God to work on us.

We have to allow him to prune us each and every day.

We have to allow the word of God to renew our mind daily.

We have to keep doing what God tells us to do.

So again, make sure you give those.

Cares, give those anxieties, give those insecurities, give those fears, give whatever is weighing you down over to your Heavenly Father, because He cares about you and he can take your cares just like he can take the person cares beside you.

So he can do anything.

The thing is, we have to allow him to take them.

They will hear from you Lord God, what it is that you want them to do.

They will hear that scripture that you call forth for them to meditate on in this season and they will not grow weary and well doing.

Lord we thank you Lord God that they will receive your love, they will receive your comfort, they will receive your strength to keep going Lord.

So we just thank you Father for your faithfulness and we give you all honor and glory.
