Welcome to Live Behind the Veil. I'm Ron, your host, and on today's podcast, the family will be discussing how God is raising up a priesthood whose hearts are focused upon Him, a people learning to live in His presence through faith, worship, and intercession. Although the world continually attempts to capture our attention, the Holy Spirit is teaching us to remain spiritually focused and walk in the victory Christ has already won.

How do we grow into this priesthood without striving in our own strength? And how are our worship, faith, and intercession connected to God's purposes for all creation? Join the family as we discuss a priesthood of faith, worship, and intercession.

Ron:

God's raising a priest. Our focus needs to be so much on reaching into that and reaching into Him and not allowing ourselves to be distracted by what's going on everywhere else. Not that we're not aware of it, but we're not to be engaged, let's put it that way. Not allow our spirits to be engaged in it, but just keep our spirits free from that because the Lord wants our spirits.

He wants our focus on Him and what He wants. And right now, really, the Lord is really focused on us. He wants us to grow, to mature. He's purifying His priesthood. That's the only way you're gonna stand in His presence, and we have to stand in His presence because the priest brings the blood of the Lamb into the presence of the Lord.

Our focus is becoming more honed, not distracted by, by so many things, especially what's going on in the world. It's really easy to get drawn into that. And, again, I think we're supposed to be aware of things, but we're not supposed to engage because the, the battle was already won. Won the battle, so we don't want to be engaged in the battle.

But on the other hand, we can remind Him of His promises and His covenants. We're just basically executioners reciting back to Him His Word

Mike:

Walking in His victory. It's already been won, so we walk in his victory as the channels of victory, and it has nothing to do with feelings. This is where faith, believing the word, and trust come in, because there's no feelings connected to it until He does something, and then you can get excited and jump around and get all kinds of whatever because of how faithful he's been to do what he said he was going to do.

Dale:

The intercession that we enter into as priests, that's an intercession for all creation. We are to be the intercessors for all creation because we have to understand that's where we live now.

Ron:

We're trusting the Holy Spirit to lead us into this. You can read a little bit about, what the Old Testament priests did, which is a shadow and a type, but it still gives you an idea of what we do in the Spirit.

Debbie:

I think that's where speaking in tongues comes in. I think that's why the Holy Spirit gave us speaking in tongues or the Lord gave us speaking in tongues because we do not know where we're at in the spirit realm totally yet. We're still being led. We're still trying new things and the Holy Spirit is directing us.

You can minister more than you know. Or I'll be worshiping in tongues. I love to worship in tongues. To worship in tongues is awesome be- because it takes you right in the presence of the Lord. It's what he's given us to help us and enable us

Dale:

What's happening in the li- in the line of the intercession that's coming forth for all creation, you first are looking to the Lord, and there's a lot of waiting on the Lord, a lot of listening.

That's where the breakthrough of the priesthood comes from. They know what God is doing, and how do they know? They know through intercession spent listening to what God is saying.

Ron:

The intercession and the worship, you have to start where you're at. You're talking about reaching into a level of God, and the only way you can do that is with the gifts of the Spirit, of what He's given us to reach into with faith.

It's not something that we have to attain. It's something we walk in every day, step by step by step. He's, the Holy Spirit's leading i- us into this very thing we're talking about, this intensity of spirit, this worship, this intercession. If your heart is set for the kingdom and set, set on the Lord, I don't think you're gonna do it wrong.

I just think everyone's learning.

Debbie:

And you have to trust the Lord's gonna show you. But at least be in motion. At least be a drivable car so that you can go someplace and be shifted from place to place. Don't be stagnant. We cannot be stagnant. That's delay.

Dale:

Cry out for the next step.

Ron:

It's all about faith, and it's, that's the only way you please the Lord, is by faith, and it's position.

You position yourself in his presence by faith, and you reach in every day to walk Let the Holy Spirit lead you through that day. Take five minutes and just open your spirit and talk to the Lord, and get one scripture and just use that scripture and stand on that scripture through the day and meditate on it.

And then all through your day, you can just go through and take that one little scripture and meditate on it and speak about it, and talk to the Lord. Don't make it this hard, hard thing. And how does that work? Because the Holy Spirit leads us and guides us every single step. Yes, there has to be that reaching in, but it doesn't have to be the strain, because w- at the same time, we're entering into His rest.

Mike:

We can't make this happen on human effort, not from the soul flesh side. It's to be that of the Spirit. "Not by power, nor by might, but by my Spirit," sayeth the Lord. And it's His Spirit that's behind this that will enable us to become those priests. But the other thing is His Word. You mentioned it, Ron, and I think it's a key here.

In Romans 8, it actually tells us something about what happens and how creation comes into this. The bottom line is on verses 29 and 30, what it says is, "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers. And when He predestined these, He also called; and whom He also called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified."

Do you notice all of those, it's already been done. It's past tense. So we have the glory of God on us. We've been justified, and we've been glorified. So in verse 20, what does it say? "For the creation was subjected to futility, not of its own will but because of God who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God."

It's our becoming that enables them to step into it out of the corruption they're stuck in.

Ron:

When we're speaking the Word, it's doing it. A lot of it's an awareness in your own spirit that you're actually Christ's priest. It's just an awareness of it more than anything else, 'cause it's not like you speak something different or you do something different. No, you're just yourself, but there is an awareness that God's building in our spirits. Just know who you are. That's all y- that's all you need. Just know who you are so that when you come into any kind of a situation, you're aware that you're bringing His presence into that situation.

Now, whatever happens with that, it happens. You don't control it. This is something of spirit and something of faith that we enter into. Faith is a beautiful key because it's the fulcrum. It's the starting point that you can get up in the morning and go, all right, Lord, I set my spirit on you. My spirit's going to be interceding for all creation.

I don't even know necessarily what that means, but I set my spirit to be interceding for all creation.

Dale:

I'm setting my focus on his kingdom coming forth in the earth and coming forth in me. And the reason I'm here is seeing because I'm believing the kingdom of God is coming forth in you right now.

Ron:

That's the attitude we have to have is we have to have an attitude. It's now. Our faith is now. What we declare is now. What we're believing is now. What we're doing is now. You're making a difference now in your faith. And that's really, to me, the intercession that we're talking about. It's a demand that says now.

Now, Lord, now.

Ron:

God is raising up a priesthood that lives by faith, ministers to Him through worship, and intercedes for all creation. We cannot become this priesthood through human effort or spiritual striving. As we set our hearts upon the Lord, listen for His voice, and allow the Holy Spirit to lead us, He faithfully reveals each new step.

When we understand who we are in Christ, we carry His presence and victory into every situation.
