Please enjoy “Rain”,
Speaker:
00:00:23
a poem by Leuna I want the rain to taste good
Speaker:
00:00:31
It sinks into fabric,
Speaker:
00:00:33
pierces the waterproofing I Have spent Years Peeling off of my old bag
Speaker:
00:00:39
It should at least be delicious
Speaker:
00:00:42
And not chemical runoff, dirt, particulates, bacteria,
Speaker:
00:00:46
every horrible nightmare, natural and synthetic, falling from the sky
Speaker:
00:00:50
Our world, the natural world accepts it
Speaker:
00:00:54
Effortless, necessary,
Speaker:
00:00:56
beautiful Poisons and dirt and bacteria all blend into pleasant noise
Speaker:
00:01:03
Fresh growth bursting through aged concrete
Speaker:
00:01:07
Why can’t I? This was “Rain”
