This is the first installment in Eric’s five-part series entitled The Five Fabulous Fingers.  In this series, Eric unpacks the foundational beliefs of Ellerslie Discipleship Training, which he terms the "five fingers of the Word of God” - 1) The Word of God in Text, 2) The Word of God in Person, 3) The Word of God in Action, 4) The Word of God in Us, and 5) The Word of God through Us.  In this particular episode he addresses the first of those "five fingers” — the Word of God in Text, also known as the Scriptures — and he explains the transcendent importance of holding the Scriptures as if they are, in fact, the Word of God.
