So, yes.

David:

Do you expect more?

Unknown Speaker C:

Thank you, David.

Unknown Speaker C:

Happy Thursday.

David:

Happy Thursday to you, my friend.

David:

I hope you had a very nice Christmas.

David:

A very merry Christmas.

David:

A happy Hanukkah.

David:

Since yesterday was also the first day of Hanukkah.

David:

I don't know if you got any socks or pencils, but if not, you know, that would qualify you for a Hanukkah gifting.

David:

But I'm just letting you know that right now.

David:

Okay.

David:

But did you have.

Unknown Speaker C:

It was a great two days.

Unknown Speaker C:

How was your little break in?

David:

It was.

David:

It was wonderful to take the time with family.

David:

But just like many other families, as the time wears on, the people wear down.

David:

Come on, don't lie.

David:

It was great to see all the grandkids in all of their excitement.

David:

Excitement and all the stuff.

David:

And then one set of grandkids with another set of grandkids, and then I got a couple of videos on everybody, and it's just wonderful.

David:

But as the time lingered on, David's stamina lingered low.

David:

That's all I'm gonna say.

David:

But it was great.

David:

It's been great.

David:

The kids are still with us, and we'll get a chance to talk about that in a little while.

David:

But I'm glad you had a merry Christmas.

David:

I am.

David:

And by the way, did you check out those chocolates?

David:

Did you try any of them?

Unknown Speaker C:

Yes.

Unknown Speaker C:

I haven't finished it off all of them, but I've eaten a lot of those.

Unknown Speaker C:

They're good.

David:

They're really good, aren't they?

Pastor Ray:

I mean, yes, thank you.

David:

I'd be amazed for the dough.

David:

I mean, you just can't believe how good those were.

David:

Anyhow, let's just get back to it.

David:

We do have somebody on the line.

David:

We're gonna get to them in a second.

David:

I want you to be aware that if you do want to reach out to us, you can do that by the telly.

David:

It's called the telephone, people.

David:

You can also text, and we love texting.

David:

It's fun.

David:

It's cool.

David:

I think it's fascinating.

David:

David:

David:

And that's also cool because it's very safe.

David:

David:

He must increase from John 3:30.

David:

He must increase.

David:

I must decrease.

David:

Not part of the law as some teachers think that that's correct.

David:

They're wrong anyhow.org cause we're a nonprofit corporation.

David:

So you can call us, you can text us, you can DM us.

David:

We do have somebody on the line.

David:

Let's bring them through and see what is happening.

David:

Knock knock.

David:

This is David.

David:

Who am I talking to?

Robo:

Well, Ringy Dingy, it's Robo, producer in San Diego.

Robo:

I have called for all the leftover chocolate.

David:

Okay, there is no leftover chocolate for you, Robo.

David:

But.

David:

it should arrive by Christmas:

Robo:

Oh, that's excellent.

Robo:

I'll mark that down on my calendar.

David:

You just start looking for it.

David:

It's only a few days away.

David:

Simple.

Robo:

That's so great.

Robo:

And I also heard, and I did actually get some very cool socks for Christmas.

Robo:

They're actually Marvel Comic Book socks.

Robo:

I will not be re gifting those.

David:

Well, I think that means that not only did you have a merry Christmas, but you had a happy Hanukkah.

David:

So I'm very happy for you.

Robo:

Absolutely.

Robo:

I've been listening to the beginning of the show.

Robo:

Sounds like you had a merry Christmas as well, Dave.

David:

Yes, yes.

David:

Very always good to be with family.

David:

That part is always good.

David:

And Easton is looking so good.

David:

I'm just so proud of him.

David:

He's looking so, so good.

David:

Very happy about that.

Robo:

Yeah, a couple of things that were on my mind.

Robo:

e years to come and you know,:

Robo:

But being a man of God and that believes in the power of prayer, you know, it's all about staying dedicated.

Robo:

You and I talked about that on my podcast, which, which will be airing on New Year's and you might be airing that for your listeners as well.

Robo:

So people can listen to about just staying dedicated and not giving up.

Robo:

When things seem a little bleak, you consistently have to turn to the Lord.

David:

That's right.

David:

That is correct.

David:

And by the way, did you send me a link on that?

David:

I did not get that.

Pastor Ray:

Not yet.

David:

Ok, cool.

Robo:

I'm editing the show today and then I will send it to you this evening.

David:

Okay, you got it.

David:

Then I'll put it up on our site.

David:

So that was a one hour interview, folks.

David:

We did.

Robo:

We covered a lot of ground.

David:

Yes, we did.

David:

Yes, we did.

David:

Absolutely.

David:

Noah did interview.

David:

I'm usually doing the interviewing.

David:

I was the intervieweer, whatever you call that person.

David:

Like you interviewed me?

Robo:

Yeah, I actually, I had a radio show for some of you may have known.

Robo:

You listen to David in San Diego called across the county.

Robo:

And now that I am out of the world of radio, I'm continuing that as a podcast.

Robo:

And having David on there as one of my dear friends is always a treat.

David:

Thank you that so much.

David:

I'm still not sending you that extra 20, but thank you anyway.

David:

Can we pray for you, brother?

David:

What's going on?

Robo:

Well, like I was telling you during the interview, a lot of my skin issues have subsided.

Robo:

I had a little bit of flare up over the holidays, but that seems to have subsided.

Robo:

But my prayer would be that it would be 100% taken care of.

Robo:

hat's what I'm looking for in:

Robo:

Because the Lord has worked in a lot of ways and I'm looking for him to do even more.

David:

Awesome.

David:

Let's pray over it right now.

David:

Let's do it.

David:

You ready?

Robo:

Yep, I'm ready.

David:

Let's pray.

David:

Father, we come before you right now, first of all, every one of us.

David:

We just give our hearts, thankfulness, gratitude, our attitude of gratitude unto you for not just Lord God, our time to refle on you and to enjoy family, but for every single piece of graciousness that you dropped in every one of our laps.

David:

When we are so unworthy and so unfaithful of so many things and you love us anyway, you push through with loves.

David:

You're just amazing.

David:

And we just, we so appreciate you and your graciousness.

David:

just trying to say, Lord, in:

David:

And we are asking you to give him the finae, the finish, the completion for the healing that he's seeking from you.

David:

You've taken him a long way in this journey.

David:

Let him finish and get through that line where he is done.

David:

Let him find in:

David:

Let him love you more, enjoy you more and be closer to you more.

David:

Often we lift him up in prayer and ask your blessing upon him.

David:

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

David:

Amen and amen.

Robo:

Amen, brother.

Robo:

I appreciate it and I appreciate you and all of your listeners out there more than you all know.

David:

Thank you, brother.

David:

We appreciate you as well.

Robo:

Have a blessed show and I know we'll talk in text, but a happy new year.

David:

Thank you, bro.

David:

God bless.

Robo:

Jammin Jacob.

Robo:

Stay jamming, okay?

David:

Stay jamming, Jammin Jacob.

David:

Good call.

Unknown Speaker C:

Will do.

Unknown Speaker C:

Will do.

Robo:

See you, Dave.

David:

All right, God bless.

David:

Bye bye.

David:

All right, folks, so that's part of the show.

David:

That's one of the things that we do.

David:

And I want people to be aware of what we do and why we do it.

David:

So I want you to understand what's going on.

David:

We do opportunities where people get to share and talk and connect with other Christians.

David:

In fact, when we do the teaching in the 60 minute segment, you're gonna see scripturally the effectiveness of radio ministry fellowship.

David:

That's right.

David:

How many times have you heard that?

David:

Ha.

David:

That's what we're gonna do.

David:

So we're gonna get into that.

David:

But listen, if you've got something that's going on, if you've got a prayer request, we'll be glad to pray for you.

David:

The Bible says in Romans:

David:

Paul said, join me in my struggle by praying for me.

David:

That is a way that you join a person or a cause.

David:

I know everybody wants to get donations.

David:

I'm one of those people, right?

David:

Let me just say that.

David:

But I know also how powerful prayer is.

David:

And when you pray with somebody, for somebody or about some cause, you've joined that struggle.

David:

Now, come on, that's hot.

David:

That's cool.

David:

Hot in a good way.

David:

And then in addition to that.

David:

So I want to make sure you catch this.

David:

I want to make sure you know where I'm trying to connect to you in.

David:

So it can be prayer requests, it can be a praise report.

David:

Maybe the Lord has done something and you're like, you know what?

David:

It's just too awesome and you can't keep it in.

David:

And you know that God has done a miracle and you might think, well, it's not the crossing of the Red Sea.

David:

Well, the crossing of the Red Sea was the crossing of the Red Sea.

David:

When you have one thing the Lord has done for you, and in your heart and mind, you know, it's the Lord.

David:

Yeah, you gotta testify, you gotta share.

David:

He doesn't do all these great things.

David:

So you can go, ooh, I feel so good.

David:

And gooey inside.

David:

He does it so you'll share and bless other people and their faith increases and it helps you, but it glorifies God.

David:

And maybe you've got a scripture or something that's gone on or something that's close this week just floors you.

David:

Hey, share it.

David:

Christians love.

David:

Genuine Christians love when other brothers and sisters are doing well.

David:

Get that.

David:

All right.

David:

We do have somebody else on the line.

David:

Let's go ahead and send them through.

David:

Knock, knock.

David:

This is David.

David:

Who am I talking to?

Roger:

It's your brother Roger again.

David:

Hello, brother Roger again.

David:

How art thou, my brother?

Roger:

I'm doing better than what I'm supposed to.

David:

Amen and amen.

David:

You know what?

David:

Every single one of us, right?

David:

Every single one of us doing better than we should be doing.

Roger:

Right?

David:

That is so true.

Roger:

I'm up off of the bed.

Roger:

I'm talking to my brother David.

Roger:

Things are looking good.

David:

Things are looking good.

David:

Things are going in a good direction.

David:

I was praying for you and your wife just the other day.

David:

I just believe there's going to be great things taking place all year long.

David:

We're going to have twice as many praise reports as we've had before, and I'm looking forward to it.

Roger:

Amen.

David:

Amen.

Roger:

I don't know.

Roger:

I'm just going to share what I seen during Christmas.

David:

Okay, I'm with it.

David:

Go for it.

Roger:

When we.

Roger:

We had family over, I had one son over.

Roger:

He's not a professing believer.

Roger:

I believe he believes, but he's not a professing believer.

Roger:

So I talked to him about the Lord and it was during the present giving.

David:

Okay, cool.

Roger:

I was talking about the presence, and then it came to me.

Roger:

I said, well, you know what?

Roger:

These presents are great, but the presence of the Lord is even greater.

Roger:

And I.

Roger:

It resonated with him and I did see a glow on his face reacting to it.

Roger:

And then I got a text from him and it was.

Roger:

I don't know how to explain it.

Roger:

Only way I can explain it.

Roger:

I felt like it was a him drawing closer to the Lord and telling me he was drawing closer.

David:

Wow.

Roger:

That was very neat that that happened during that time.

David:

Wow, Roger again.

David:

That is cool.

David:

That is absolutely outstanding.

David:

Because he.

David:

You probably didn't even go into a long thing, right?

David:

You just kind of was.

David:

Just said it and, you know, kind of shared it.

David:

Right.

David:

It wasn't a huge long explanation.

David:

Was it was just a, hey, the present from the Lord.

David:

That's the greatest, right?

David:

I mean, was it simple?

David:

It was simple and easy.

Roger:

That was the greatest gift of all.

David:

That's right.

Roger:

The presence of the Lord went along with the present.

Roger:

You know, I seen the present, so I thought, well, the presence of the Lord is even greater than the presence under the tree.

David:

Wow.

David:

Wow, that is so good, though.

David:

I mean, that's just phenomenal.

David:

And that little thing.

David:

Look how.

David:

Look how God took that small thing that you did and said and turned it in.

David:

The power of the kingdom of God.

Roger:

Amen.

Roger:

I just think that's the greatest thing.

Roger:

And then every year, I used to have a new theme every month.

Roger:

Well, then at our church, you know, when I.

Roger:

And then the.

Roger:

The pastor of our church died, so I went to a new theme every year.

Roger:

So I have it in:

Roger:

My theme was for:

David:

Amen.

Roger:

And then.

Roger:

And then in:

David:

Oh, that's so good, Roger.

David:

Again, that is a great.

David:

One of my favorite that, that the theology and the neology.

David:

Boy, you got some great sayings, brother.

Roger:

Yeah.

Roger:

And then I have a new one for:

David:

What do you got for:

David:

What are you doing for:

Roger:

Okay.

Roger:

I have to really think about this.

Roger:

It's a deep one.

Roger:

Overcoming till the breakthrough.

David:

Overcoming until you break through.

Roger:

Right.

David:

That's brilliant.

David:

Overcoming until the breakthrough breaks through and you've broken through and manifested the overcoming.

Roger:

And that's when faith without works is dead.

Roger:

So you have to do your part in the faith part.

Roger:

It takes works to have faith.

David:

You gotta have.

David:

You gotta have something manifest.

David:

You don't have anything manifesting.

David:

There's something wrong.

Roger:

Right.

Roger:

So, I mean, it's deep.

Roger:

It's really deep.

Roger:

You know, you really.

Roger:

And then if you really think about it, and then you put this scripture to it, word day and night.

Roger:

So when you meditate on the word day and night, you will get your breakthrough.

David:

Amen.

David:

Amen.

David:

You know what's great about that word, meditate too, Especially in the Hebrew, it means.

David:

I love this illustration.

David:

But technically it means to flip in the mind over and over again.

David:

To keep flipping it and flipping it and flipping it in your mind.

David:

That's what meditate means.

David:

Yeah, that great.

Pastor Ray:

I love it.

Roger:

It's really great.

Roger:

And I thought about our journey.

Roger:

You know, we.

Roger:

We tend to look at the downside of our journey.

Roger:

But then when we read the.

Roger:

What the.

Roger:

What Paul went through in his life, you know, the Jails.

Roger:

Just think about what he went through in jail.

Roger:

I mean, it's not like a jail with flushing toilets and everything like that they have nowadays.

Roger:

It's not a jail like that.

Roger:

It's a.

Roger:

Like a dungeon, you know, and dark and miserable.

Roger:

I don't know how he even was able to write in them jails, you know, but they, they supplied him with writing paper and, and pencil.

Roger:

But it was.

Roger:

I mean, but when the time came, the presence of the Lord showed up.

Roger:

And our journey is not going to be the same as Paul's.

Roger:

You know, we.

Roger:

We're not probably going to get stoned, we're probably not going to get shipwrecked, but we're going to have to go through some stuff.

Roger:

We're going to go through some stuff in our life.

Roger:

We're going to go through it, but we're going to go through it.

Roger:

We're going to get through it.

Roger:

If we keep our faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord, we will get through all of the stuff that we go through, each and everything.

Roger:

We're going to get through it.

Roger:

I've been through many things.

Roger:

I've lost grandchildren.

Roger:

I've had other things happen in my life, but I've gotten through it with the Lord's help and praying with the Lord and, and just with, with him, with his presence in my life, seeking his presence and, and just carrying on like that, you know, never giving up on the faith that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my Savior.

Roger:

Not only my Savior, but also my Lord.

David:

Amen.

Roger:

And never given up on that.

David:

Amen.

David:

And that's why, that's why this overcoming until you break through, it's not just brilliant by itself, but it's right.

David:

It's the right thing.

David:

That's the right thing before the Lord and for every one of us that we're going through, whatever we're going through, overcoming until you break through.

David:

It's a great theme.

David:

It's something that anybody can adapt.

David:

Along with Roger again, we're gonna introduce our theme probably next week, but I love that and I want you to know I think it's brilliant.

David:

I think it's great.

David:

And I think just the way you shared was just what the Lord wanted.

Roger:

Well, I tried to get through on Tuesday and then you guys, you weren't there.

David:

I know.

Roger:

Guess what?

Roger:

The timing of the Lord is always more important than anything else.

Roger:

You know, we don't, we think that sometimes we don't think that God is on time, but God is always on time.

Roger:

He's an on Time, God, it's not in our time.

Roger:

And you were just talking about the thousand years a little bit ago.

Roger:

We don't.

Roger:

We can't comprehend a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years is like a day.

Roger:

But if we really think about it, we're.

Roger:

This world is about 6,000 years old.

Roger:

So we could break it down to as six days.

Roger:

He's fixing the rest here pretty quick.

David:

I feel you, brother.

David:

I feel you.

David:

All right, good job.

David:

That's good coffee.

Roger:

Smell the coffee.

Roger:

He's coming again.

Roger:

Yeah, In Jesus name, I'm gonna let you go.

Roger:

Bye.

Roger:

All right, my brother guys, praying for you guys.

Roger:

Haven't been able to support you like I need to.

Roger:

We've been going through a lot of financial difficulty with the specialists.

Roger:

We have a lot of specialists.

David:

That's okay, brother.

Roger:

That's my wife's life.

Roger:

But I want to support you as much as I can, and I do in my prayers and.

Roger:

And keep thanking God that your station is still on the air.

Roger:

It's very important.

David:

Amen, brother.

David:

We love you, brother.

David:

Just remember that.

David:

And we're praying for you and your wife.

David:

You got me?

Roger:

I got you.

Roger:

I know you are.

Roger:

I feel it.

Roger:

Okay, bro, In Jesus name, bye bye.

David:

All right.

David:

God bless you.

David:

Bye bye.

David:

All right.

David:

A little bit different, Lord, than I had implied and initially intended from the Lord to do this show.

David:

So I'm just telling you right now, that's what we love you see, this is what I want you to get.

David:

Can be praise report, can be something to share.

David:

It can be something answered a prayer.

David:

It could be just this weird miracle, miraculous thing that takes place.

David:

You know, I gotta.

David:

I gotta take.

David:

You'd think it's really silly or whatever.

David:

So we had some lights up and I said, okay, I can't figure out how to fix this one.

David:

Like, the lights went out and went out there and Julianne said, well, let me look.

David:

And then Jared, her husband, was like, oh, yeah, like you're gonna be the electrician.

David:

So we go out together to look at the box.

David:

And she saw the one breaker clip that I didn't see.

David:

She was the one who actually fixed the lights.

David:

It's like such a little thing.

David:

It's like, praise the Lord, they work.

David:

And not only that, but she's got better eyes than I do.

David:

Anyway, I'm just telling you, see those little things and then the big things and all the things, that's the grace of God.

David:

Do you see what I'm saying?

David:

That's the grace in your life.

David:

And he has that active for you.

David:

And so it's important for us to extend that grace to others because he extends it to us.

David:

And there's times you don't want to.

David:

I mean, let's just.

David:

I mean, let's at least be honest about everything.

David:

But the Lord wants you and I to just be those vessels of his grace and his mercy all the time.

David:

Being a billboard for the Lord.

David:

He knows what to write on you.

David:

He knows what to put on there.

David:

He knows when to turn the lights on and to let it shine.

David:

Get it?

David:

Just so cool, right?

David:

Isn't that great?

David:

Now, obviously, the Lord's redirecting on the show, and I like that.

David:

I happen to think that's cool.

David:

And so then I get one little bit less of study requirement because next week I'll do the revelation thing I was going to do.

David:

But coming up could be a very challenging, most fascinating teaching in the Book of Colossians, which is going to.

David:

I'm going to illustrate at some point how radio ministry is foretold in the scripture.

David:

That's probably the most bold statement I've made on this particular radio show.

David:

But that's okay.

David:

You'll find it fascinating, I promise.

David:

And then we're gonna do trivia.

David:

I have a feeling there'll be some special people calling in on trivia.

David:

In the meantime, take a deep breath, smile.

David:

Thank God.

David:

We'll take our short break here.

David:

You're listening to the David's Moon Experience right here on Kaam 770, the true station here in Texas.

David:

Short break.

David:

We'll be back.

David:

Don't go anywhere.

Pastor Ray:

This is from our good friend, Pastor Ray.

Pastor Ray:

He wrote this wonderful devotional called When Grace Is Tangible.

Pastor Ray:

The word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth.

Pastor Ray:

That's John, chapter one, verse 14.

Pastor Ray:

There is more to grace than I ever imagined.

Pastor Ray:

Now, I'm going to stop you right there.

Pastor Ray:

So I was praying, this is in the last month, and I even wrote it down in my little journal how I believe the Lord had communicated to me personally that I do not understand the depth of God's grace.

Pastor Ray:

So then this devotion comes.

Pastor Ray:

I'm like, oh, I just know the Lord's trying to teach me more.

Pastor Ray:

All right, let me back it up to what Ray says.

Pastor Ray:

There is more to grace than I ever imagined.

Pastor Ray:

We sing of amazing grace with the hope and longing that inspires people of all faiths and walks of life.

Pastor Ray:

Theologically, grace is defined as unmerited favor, a good, sound concept.

Pastor Ray:

But there is something more tangible about grace.

Pastor Ray:

Something we can picture in our minds.

Pastor Ray:

God once told Moses, I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

Pastor Ray:

Grace, as I discovered in the Hebrew language, is more than a favor granted in spite of our failings.

Pastor Ray:

When God says He will be gracious to whomever he chooses, he uses the word which adds a new layer of our understanding.

Pastor Ray:

Because hanan means to show favor, mercy, to bend or to stoop in kindness.

Pastor Ray:

God is not only granting favor and mercy, but the word picture is of him bending down to us in kindness, like a father getting down on his knees to embrace his children.

Pastor Ray:

There's even more to this picture.

Pastor Ray:

The root of the word chanan means to pitch a tent, to encamp, to abide, to dwell, to rest.

Pastor Ray:

There is more than God granting favor.

Pastor Ray:

He wants to dwell with us, to camp out with us.

Pastor Ray:

The God who is so very beyond us, not of this world, desires for his glory, to abide with us and in us.

Pastor Ray:

God will be gracious to whomever he chooses, and he will come and live with them and dwell with them and camp out with them, whomever he chooses.

Pastor Ray:

And when it makes no sense to anybody else, it doesn't matter.

Pastor Ray:

Even if it doesn't meet our standard of approval.

Pastor Ray:

The Almighty Lord desires to dwell with us, not just rule over us, certainly not to start a religion, but to love us and live with us in a tangible, real way, to show us the way, the truth and the life.

Pastor Ray:

The ultimate experience of God bending down.

Pastor Ray:

Listen to this.

Pastor Ray:

The ultimate experience of God bending down, stoop, stooping down to the ground to dwell amongst us is the incarnation of.

David:

Jesus Christ, the David Spoon experience.
