Transcripts

Speaker:

Welcome.

2

:

This is a guided meditative prayer.

3

:

I invite you to experiment

on the words of Christ.

4

:

When he invited us to pray always,

and to have a prayer in our hearts.

5

:

In this meditation, we will be using

what is called the prayer cycle.

6

:

I am open.

7

:

I am receiving.

8

:

I am grateful.

9

:

I am loving and I am giving.

10

:

The blessing of learning to

meditate is in the practice of

11

:

being present in the moment.

12

:

So when you find your mind

wandering off, which it will.

13

:

Simply practice, bringing

yourself back to breath.

14

:

and the affirmation I am open.

15

:

Please find a space that is

quiet somewhere where you can

16

:

slow down and rest comfortably.

17

:

And be still.

18

:

Like you do in prayer.

19

:

You may want to begin as you do in prayer.

20

:

To your loving heavenly father

in the name of Jesus Christ,

21

:

inviting his spirit to be with you.

22

:

Let's breathe in.

23

:

Through your nose.

24

:

Softening the belly.

25

:

Exhale through the nose slowing down.

26

:

Slowing down your breath.

27

:

Slowing down your heart.

28

:

And your mind.

29

:

Exhale.

30

:

Imagine letting go of tension and

fears and the noise of the world.

31

:

As you enter into.

32

:

This sacred space.

33

:

Like a sacred grove

34

:

Breathing in and relaxing.

35

:

Let go.

36

:

Relaxing to your body.

37

:

Relax into the floor.

38

:

And allow yourself to be held here.

39

:

To be loved.

40

:

To be open.

41

:

To be open to truth that

you are of infinite worth.

42

:

You are a child of God.

43

:

Loved.

44

:

Healed.

45

:

And known by him.

46

:

Breathing in.

47

:

Settling into your body.

48

:

This tabernacle of clay.

49

:

And exhale.

50

:

Releasing.

51

:

And relaxing.

52

:

Now.

53

:

Bring your focus to your heart.

54

:

Your heart.

55

:

This beautiful vessel.

56

:

Capable of so much love.

57

:

Soften it.

58

:

Soften it to.

59

:

The words of Christ to his love.

60

:

Twice a Toman.

61

:

Soften.

62

:

And open.

63

:

Breathe into your heart center.

64

:

And imagine your heart

and earth and vessel.

65

:

Opening it.

66

:

Taking off the lid.

67

:

And allow this warm healing light.

68

:

To pour in.

69

:

Let it pour in chasing out darkness.

70

:

Sadness.

71

:

Heaviness.

72

:

And see that light come washing

through you into the heart.

73

:

Washing out those things

that trouble, your heart.

74

:

Breathing in.

75

:

I am an open vessel.

76

:

I am open to receiving the love of God,

his light, his peace into my heart.

77

:

I am grateful.

78

:

I am loving and accepting

what is in my heart.

79

:

I am giving.

80

:

Reflecting his light.

81

:

Sharing his love abundantly.

82

:

Um, breathing in.

83

:

This time, opening your mind.

84

:

Your brain and your intellect.

85

:

Opening as this warm healing

light pours into your mind.

86

:

Hushing the noise.

87

:

And the chatter.

88

:

Oh, since a calmness and a

stillness, let it wash over.

89

:

You.

90

:

Excelling and letting go.

91

:

Soothing.

92

:

Yeah.

93

:

As those things that trope

your mind gently fade away.

94

:

I am an open vessel.

95

:

I am receiving his love.

96

:

His light and his peace into my mind.

97

:

They flow through me.

98

:

I am grateful.

99

:

I am loving and accepting my body.

100

:

I am giving.

101

:

Um, breathing out.

102

:

And relaxing deeper into your body.

103

:

And allow yourself to be held here.

104

:

To be loved.

105

:

To be open.

106

:

To the truth.

107

:

Have your infinite worth.

108

:

You are his.

109

:

He has healed you.

110

:

He knows you.

111

:

Breathing in.

112

:

Into this tabernacle of clay.

113

:

Opening from your head.

114

:

All the way to your toes,

softening your face.

115

:

Your shoulders, your back.

116

:

Your hips.

117

:

Your legs all the way to your toes.

118

:

This light.

119

:

His love.

120

:

His peace flowing

through you like a river.

121

:

Breathing in.

122

:

I am an open vessel.

123

:

I am receiving his love.

124

:

I am grateful for his peace.

125

:

I am giving.

126

:

Freely to those around me.

127

:

That which is of God is light.

128

:

And as I receive light and

continue in the old Lord.

129

:

I receive more light.

130

:

And that light grows brighter.

131

:

And brighter.

132

:

And the river continues to flow.

133

:

I am an open vessel.

134

:

I received truth.

135

:

Knowledge and understanding.

136

:

That chases out darkness from me.

137

:

I am full of light.

138

:

His love.

139

:

His peace.

140

:

I am grateful.

141

:

Grateful for my savior.

142

:

I am loving.

143

:

My heart overflows with, I love.

144

:

I am giving.

145

:

Breathing in.

146

:

Continue to relax into your body.

147

:

This beautiful tabernacle of clay.

148

:

Continue to exhale and let go.

149

:

Allow yourself to be held.

150

:

To be loved.

151

:

To be beloved.

152

:

To be open.

153

:

Receiving truth.

154

:

The truth that you are of infinite worth.

155

:

Who are his child?

156

:

He holds you.

157

:

He loves you.

158

:

He has healed you.

159

:

And you are known.

160

:

By him.

161

:

Breathing in.

162

:

Settling in to that truth.

163

:

That space.

164

:

That prayer.

165

:

Excelling.

166

:

With gratitude.

167

:

Today.

168

:

I am open.

169

:

Opening my mind.

170

:

And my heart.

171

:

And my life.

172

:

To those things of light and joy.

173

:

Peace and love.

174

:

That I might contain that,

which is greater than myself.

175

:

The love and the light of Jesus Christ.

176

:

Today.

177

:

I choose.

178

:

To be the open vessel.

179

:

Open heart.

180

:

Open mind.

181

:

Open.

182

:

To a life full of his light.

183

:

And his love.

184

:

To be open to truth to those

things that I don't know yet.

185

:

That I may contain that,

which is greater than myself.

186

:

To hold.

187

:

And to flow freely.

188

:

His charity.

189

:

His perfect love.

190

:

His light.

191

:

That is so bright.

192

:

This is where I leave you

to finish your prayer.
